  We recently deployed 20 HP customer t5565 light for a customer.

  All employees have a similar problem with the numeric keypad on the keyboard.  By hitting the corresponding key (example 7), the number is not always type in the session terminal server.  The number can only print 2 times for every 3 strikes.

  This problem becomes very frustrating for our clients.

  Can someone please offer some advice on how to fix this?

  I just got my laptop new Satellite pro P100 and cannot find how to set the number pad (integrated) to be enabled at power on.
  I checked in the Setup, the Toshiba HW setup... nothing

  Please correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no sense for me to have 'num-lock' enabled at startup on all laptops.
  As you know, all the keys the keypad uses are shared with the regular alpha keys. In order to avoid interpretation of the wrong password (on a reduced keyboard set), the "Numlock at startup" function has not been implemented in most (all?) notebook BIOS.

  You can hold the key while you tap on the "blue pad", but that's all you can get without activate "num lock" with the +.

  If you have an attached external keyboard, very probably the num-lock on the extra cushion will be "on" by default. Otherwise, if you do a lot of the use of the numbers, you can get a num - pad usb to your laptop. There are quite expensive "toshiba-made" on e - bay ;)

  It is not only the possibility of a scratch, but also that the MacBook Pro retina are very thin. Adding a keyboard cover and a cloth could lead to damage and it closes does not correctly. I have personally not use either on my rMBP.

  Given two M60-159 units, keyboard was replaced due to sensitivity of the keyboard problem (some characters are usually missing in the text...), none of the keys to self-retaining noticed on any of four keyboards. Replacement keyboards (revision 01) had a little different twist, but were not much better.
  Also saw two P100-219 units with a similar keyboard, no sticky keys is (keyboard sensitivity OK but not excellent as more old 3000 Toshiba).

  Question (please do not answer, I would really like to know): how is the sensitivity of your keyboard? Leave the characters when the quick entry?
  You may require a guarantee of replacement keyboard for this reason. Or better yet a replacement laptop, if all goes well they're out of M60s and you can get a P100...   There's a shortcut with the Fn and F8 or F7 key (I don't remember exactly). Look at your keyboard to F7 or F8, there is a little icon as a Numblock and there you can en/disable it!
