Kill traps?

Priority interrupt function is driving me crazy! I don't know why, but it starts to turn himself and so I keep missing calls, email, etc, etc. Can someone tell me PLEASE how to permanently disable this annoying "feature"?

I think I knew what is happening. One of my profiles Tasker has been apparently activating disruptions (by the action in silent Mode), but the equivalent action to deactivate the Silent Mode was not changing interrupts. But I found Tasker can directly access Interruptions and seem to have me given control of the feature again.

You do not have third party kernel extensions, so the problem is probably a hardware failure. Take it to an Apple Store for analysis. It is best to make an appointment with the Genius Bar.

Today, firefox suggested "Refresh" for the first time ever. That went well, but it seems to have killed my sync settings. Sync now asks me to create a new account. Is - is this expected? I have not found clues for that behaviors in the documentation of refreshment.

"Refresh" removes everything, like a "factory reset".

However, your synchronized data is still on the server, on the "create new account" screen, there should be a link to 'sign' in to the existing account.

After the 36.0.1 on a Windows 7 computer, Firefox crashes after the first click on a link or when you try to open a new tab. I can't kill the process from the Task Manager. Need to reboot to get rid of the process.

My attempts to solve the problem so far:
Uninstalled Firefox & my anti-virus program, removed Mozilla dirs Program Files and AppData and cleaned the registry. Then reinstalled Firefox after the restart, still hangs on the first click on a link. Even impossible to kill the process, help to only to restart.

You can use the activity monitor to view the list of running processes and try to kill one. Be careful with this, you can potentially kill important processes.

Use the monitor activity on your Mac - Apple Support

It will not tell you which process is using the file however.

Preview sometimes will not release a file after viewing. You can command-click the Preview icon on the dock and the attempt to kill him.

  • iPhone 6 Plus kill local Wi - Fi

For many months now, any time my phone is 'asleep' and plugged into a power supply at home, 3 to 5 minutes later; all the other internet connectivity on al, other devices dies. 0.0mbbs. disable Wi - Fi on my iPhone, or unplug it, will instantly restore connectivity to all devices. Just to wake up the phone will sometimes restore connectivity with other devices. Over the months, I found several people who describe similar situations, such as:Re: hook up 6 more with iOS 9.2 in any charger turns off the home Wifimy problem is not specific to iOS 9.2, as I am currently on 9.3.2.  Because there is a delay when I plug in my phone when the Wi - Fi takes, it took me several months to put the two together.  I had the phone for about a year and a half, and I know that he has not always done this.

This discovery of connection in the incident prompting fortunately also led to one explanation of the other strange behavior. Like why my iPad will not be updated or backup from one day to the next, or why the emails come through on all my devices. In general, because I leave my phone on all night, I don't actually no link on any of my other devices updates and synchronization of accounts etc.

The WAP is an airport extreme (ac) as well as two airport expresses as Extenders to obtain coverage on the edge of my yard, very skinny, very deep.  I tried:

    • update the software on all access points
    • reset all access points
    • Restore the access points to a new SSID and password default
    • Regardless of whether or not the phone is freshly restarted
    • regardless of whether its access point is enabled or not
    • "Wi - Fi assist" has never been on

Interestingly, when Internet connectivity is blocked to the top, I can still see and control the access points through the most convenient airport on my iPad app. It is particularly slow but in response.  No network conflict is reported.

I got used to leave my iPhone Wi - Fi off when I'm at home, which has obvious disadvantages. This seems to be a bug in more common than just my particular network put in place...   Anyone out there have ideas, resources for trying or is it just a bad batch of Wi - Fi chips that took a few months to go wrong?  I feel that this problem is much more common that the messages on the forums would have you believe, but it takes some troubleshooting to find out what exactly the problem beyond the capabilities or the patience of the average consumer.

One thing that you seem to have not tried the reset of your iPhone to factory default.

What I would do is the iPhone using iCloud, or even better backup, iTunes on Mac or PC and then reset the default iPhone. Then, before installing apps check and see if the behavior of killing of Wi - Fi is always present.

If it is you know it is something inherent in the iPhone 6 Plus running the current software and you can restore it from your backup and expect that Apple to deliver a software fix for the problem or see if Apple will exchange the iPhone for those who do not show this behavior.

If it isn't, then you know that one of the applications is the origin of the problem. In this case, you will need to install your applications at the time and a test for the behavior of killing of Wi - Fi to determine what app is causing the problem.

  • Looking for a way to kill the "Zombie" emails that can not be deleted

For the second time in three months, I received an email from spam that cannot be deleted. It was emptied in the spam with SpamSieve, but once there, it cannot be deleted. The e-mail account is a POP acct and mail is downloaded from the server, so in theory should not reappear here.

The email address is bogus, no one that I know of. The e-mail message contains no content, but it says there is an attachment via the paperclip icon. Open it, however, and there is nothing there (even though I knew it was zombie mail when it happened, as it's the second time it happens, the first missing itself after about a month, so he seems to have a predefined expiration date; what he does in the meantime, I don't know).

I tried trashing it anyway, I know how. The answer is always that said piece of mail can not be deleted because there is no such thing as commitment. I've renamed even manually a .emix file in Mail to match. No SOAP.

And now have gone to the library to the user, trashed the plist and which seem to be linked to this folder. The file seems to disappear, so I quit Mail. The next time I open the fake email returned by mail. And as the screenshot shows, one became two, although there is a list.

I have rebuilt the mailboxes. The only thing I did is try to kill the thing through the Terminal (if such a thing is even possible).

Given similar reports seem to turn up here (cannot move or delete messages of mail electronics defective.) for example, I must conclude that there is a kind of dreadfully boring invasive file which is done through the firewall and anti-spam filters, and for the life of me at this point, if I could find the sender , I bloody shoot the * myself.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    -gf

Try right click on the junk mail folder, then choose delete junk e-mail messages.

You said you tried to rebuild the mailbox. Have you tried to reindex messages?

Exit the Mail. Navigate to your user library this path:

    ~/Library/Mail/v3/MailData/

Move all the files starting with envelope Index or ExternalUpdates in the trash, but don't drain.

Open Mail and let reindex all messages.

If you tried and it doesn't work, go to this:

    ~/Library/containers/com. Apple.mail

Exit the Mail. Move the folder integer com.apple.mail to the trash. Open Mail and test. You have to re-create your user settings.

  • How to kill the great screen?

I'm not a baby, I'm senile, and I really infused hatred, so I want to kill this terrible form.

Definition of 'Nothing' in tools, Options, privacy, address bar doesn't. next time you start FF10.0.2, the option is set on "history and bookmarks.»

    Hello

    Please see this.

  • How to close the instance of Firefox launched via file/new window without killing all instances of Firefox?

Before the last update Firefox, running on Ubuntu if it makes a difference, I was able to select close on the file menu (and if memory is also by clicking the x on the last tab) to exit an instance of Firefox open via file new window.

With the 9.x update this no longer seems to be possible. If I choose the file altogether starting an instance that was launched via the new window, all instances of Firefox away!

It's embarrassing because I have to leave all the instances that have been launched.

I tried closing last tab add on, and it allows me to close the last tab content but still leaves the instance running with a blank tab.

Is there a setting somewhere that I missed to restore the operating mode to exit the additional instances of Firefox without killing all the previous configuration?

    Thank you
    Burt

Each window must have its own close button (big X in the right corner.)
But it depends on the 'Theme' that you use in Ubuntu. This large X chould be a round point when you hover over the color changes. It could be on the left instead of the right site.
This screenshot shows the close the left side, but always an X button.

CTRL + SHIFT + W closed the window Active.
CTRL + W closes the current tab.

I click on add a new tab and new tab open pages to "search the Web - bing" is new to Firefox and I wont to know how to stop kill bing. I blocked bing.com , but there is no change.

Probably something you have installed by mistake, take a look through your addons and plugins visible in firefox and all applications listed in Windows Control Panel.

A behavior more bug / odd:
    calling "firefox.exe - ProfileManager".
-do NOT open the Profile Manager,
-does NOT create a new profile,
-seems to do NOTHING (no change around records profile etc.).
    but...
    -KILLS tabs former session.
-KILLS old session and leaves nothing to restore,
    -KILL all my pinned tabs!

OK, I should downgrade to FF4.0.1, or same 3.6.x?
These releases are much more reliable than 6 + 7 running!

    Try using this:

    Firefox.exe Pei
