  Here's my question:

  I use headphones a lot. While driving, my desk at work etc.

  I have an iPhone 7plus and have lightning of headset connected, is I let them cool for a long period of time, I can hear this sound as a click. Once this click occurs, mic/line controls stop working, but I can still hear notifications and music.

  I can restore the connection just unplug the headphones and plug their folder in. My fear is that this is some kind of energy saving function, but I'm not sure.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

  I'm having the same problem.

  After sitting idle for a few minutes there is a pop sound and then controls no longer work until the headphones are disconnected and re connected.

  This problem also affects the mic which means that if you get a phone call and try to answer through the helmet, the person at the other end will be unable to hear you.

  I'm afraid unplug and re - connect the headphones will cause unnecessary wear on the port of lightning and the helmet.

  Thank you, Patrick. I tried on another computer (Dell T5400) and everything worked as expected. I think that the problems I have experienced on the first computer were due to a conflict with a PXI driver for another card I have not installed during my tests (and which I did not know was PXI, but he appeared as a PXI device in M & A once I put it in it should have a kind of PCI - PXI bridge internal?).   Hi again, thanks for the answers. In fact, I found a solution! I realized that poor performance on a full web page is present only on some elements of the page (text, links, etc.), on the blank spots, it behaves normally. So I went to properties of mouse pointers in the Panel, off all types of windows aero pointers and especially - disabled the check 'Enable shadow of pointers' and boom, everything works fine now!   I use Win XP, SP3, MCE 2005 and I want to change the file name of some of the videos saved on my computer.  Currently I use MCE to record movies at home on my computer and then burn them to DVD.  I plugged the VCR/camcorder for video on computer TV card and MCE set to record 1 channel at say 20:00 and turn my VCR/camcorder to play at this time.  MCE records the film as if it were a recorded TV show.  A few questions:

  Is there a better way to do it?  The home movies are on different formats - Betamax, VHS, camcorder Sony 8 and mini DVD.

  The file is saved with descriptive as - news channel 1, channel information (Direct TV channel label), 20:00, 2 h,-where is this kind of things saved info and I can change it?  If I can change it, what format should I use?

  The video file is saved in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\Shared Video\... and the name of the file to this location seems to match the name of the actual file displayed in MCE - but if I want to change to say "Christmas" birthday 2005, can I do without corrupting the file?  What format constraints are there for the name of the file?

  Is there a better way to change the description and the name than just using windows and right-click on the file and selecting rename?

  And just to repeat the first question - is there a better way to record movies on the computer?

  If the HP logo comes and you can't access BIOS, the problem is more likely to be at a lower level. A failed HARD drive should not prevent you from access to the configuration.

  Several things can cause the logo appears at the top (I write from a HP Pavillion 2008). I've dealt with many laptops such as yours and have seen many causes. Faulty RAM memory is a. A problem with the video chip is another. In fact several kinds of tokens (two bridges, video..). A virus is more unlikely but not impossible (if he messed with your BIOS, it is possible).

  If you don't see movement in your DVD or HARD drive, something I'm leaning more towards the video chip. Especially if it's Nvidia or Radeon - it would be a miracle if you use an HP laptop of 9 years with a powerful video (so that there is time) without having had any problems with it until now (mine is Intel).   OK, final update on this - in the end it came down to problem of disk on the host controller.  After a little research I found that many people have problems with Marvell SATA controllers (9230 in my case) where the SSD is attached.  It seems that there are problems with power management features that cause SSDS hang effectively making you into a kind of energy saving mode.

  After many changes of configuration and test in an attempt to move things forward the Marvell controller, I ended up spending my SSD (which hosts the VM readers) works at an Intel controller - in fact, I removed all the RAID config, including standard hard drives of the Marvell controller and run just stand-alone drives off as now (that I ended up having to rebuild RAID1 arrays often enough).

  So now everything works smoothly and no hanging of VMWare Workstation, no matter how many VMS are run/updated... Happy Days!

• My images are completely different while I work in Bridge and Photoshop (CS6) than they do once they are saved.

  You must disable "automatic loading at startup bridge."  I think it's in the preferences / advanced.  This option casues problems more then a few seconds, it saves loading.

  Settings won't stick with this option enabled, unless you leave the bridge first before to shut down the computer.

  I have LR 2.6 on my Mac.  I import images RAW in LR, let the LR to build 1:1 previews.  A time completed import & previews are built, LR is moving from image to image very well.  I can do my basic edits, destruction and make a batch renumber.

  Then, I go to the bridge to make my adjustments in the RAW window without opening the files.  I return to LR, save the changes, allowing the bridge changes to overwrite the import development LR presets in the xmp files.

  LR re returns when you perform changes in Lightroom. Changes elsewhere will be re rendered images before use. It will be displaying the image in the. : ! or by selecting the images you have made changes to externally, to read the metadata of the file itself or xmp sidecar, then by selecting library, overview and choosing whether to make standard or 1:1 previews. Lightroom has no changes unless you specifically like it so changes in external processors will not automatically be read by LR. As noted for the previous poster using ACR external to process RAW files, rather than using RTAs in LR itself is adding a step to your workflow that I don't see the need for... but each to their own!
