  • Unable to transfer photos from Kodak Easyshare C195 on PC

I recently bought a Kodak Easyshare C195. The camera works fine, but I now have a problem transfer pictures from the camera to the computer. Why am I having this problem? I even uninstalled and reinstalled the software for the camera, still cannot transfer my pictures from camera to the computer. Is someone can you please tell me why this is happening?

    Something to try...

Connect the device to your PC via a USB cable and turn
on the camera... If open windows... Close them.

According to... to... Start / my computer... the camera can be
    listed as a drive letter...

If_yes_right click on the drive letter and select... Explorer or
Open... This should display the directory of the memory card.
You can copy and paste or drag and drop the files from there to a
    folder on your hard drive.

(The same steps work if you have a media player...
When you go to... Start / desktop media slots...
Drive should be listed under... "Removable disk" with a drive
    letter.)

I need a driver for Windows 7 compatible with a smart digital camera HP 715 photo.

... and you will get it at HP - those who make and support the product that you want to use.

It is * if * HP supports the device under the operating system you choose to use - they don't have to.

    If you have a ( digital camera HP Photosmart 715<-- that's="" a="" clickable="">

Get a CompactFlash card reader that can read some CompactFlash cards you use in the camera and is compatible with Windows 7 and when you need to get the pictures from your camera, eject the CF card and insert it into the drive connected to the computer and copy or cut & paste like any other external USB drive.

Original title: impossible to download photos from Kodak digital camera-message says "computer cannot read the scanner or camera > use cable because the card does not work." It worked fine for 2 years

    Hi twila11,

    · You receive an error with the error code?

    · What is the service pack installed on your computer?

    · What is the model number of the Kodak camera?

Check the status of the device in the Device Manager. Follow the steps below:

    a. Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

    b. Locate the device

    c. expand the device, then double-click on it to check if there is no error code or error message.

In addition, check if updates and patches are distributed by Kodak for the camera on the site of the factory.

I recently bought a Kodak EasyShare touch camera.  Love it, but for some reason some will not play videos from the camera to my computer.  He will say: the selected file has an extension (.) (THM) it is not recognized by Windows Media player.  Any suggestions?

. THM is a thumbnail of the file... not a video file. I suspect that your
Kodak records in the. MOV or possibly. Film MP4 format.
