• Software for Windows 7 where is it?

  The operating system is out and it is still a beta version of the software for printers. I had the driver works, but not of the printer for complete capable of using software. I see you advertise on the internet Windows 7, but still no software. What do you for Christmas? It's about 2 months away. As I said in another post that no one answers with good response, I got the driver to work. Still no software and I tried to install a software that is listed under Vista 64, but that's just errors out and cancelled the installation. It's really stupid that there is no word or whatever this so-called why HP has no date of availability of software or anything just a work-around that does not use the complete robot of the printer. WIndows Vista has the same use windows Fax and the printer in windows, but still does not all the features of the printer.

  Oh by the way I got the Officejet J3680 all-in-One.

  It is not for lack of Microsofts that you take your time to satisfy the consumers of your products. Its been about a week now after the release of Windows 7 and not a word about the software, but a few drivers. I probably still will not get the right answer with this post. Lack of communication at HP. You should be happy that I don't have a company according to the use of complete Betacam of this printer printer, because I would lose money waiting for you to do something. Do not give this speech "there is a solution. It does not solve that there is not a software for it.

  Also the Wi - Fi guy telling me to wait until January 2010 is not a solution. A solution is to have the software ready to use. So I will not consider it all solved.

  Oh, I found my own solution. I remember that I bought another Deskjet f4400 printer and you have the software windows 7 for her. My mother used this one while I used the officejet j3680, so I went with her printers. It uses Vista, so now I have a fully functional recommended printer to use and she does too. I only will be absent the fax part, but that's fine. She wanted anyway the fax printer.

• Software for CD/DVD drive?

  I just bought a LG DVD recorder/player for my MBP of 2014 retina.  It comes without software "utility of Mac/productivity.  I managed, otherwise a bit laboriously burned data using basic functions of my Mac (via the Finder).

  Would you recommend any quality software to make the process a little more user friendly/efficient?  Essentially, I intend to use the reader of CD/DVD to access data/movies when and as a way to share data (e.g. statistical data, occasional photos/videos) necessary?  TY in advance!

  There is a program called Toast that I used to burn CDs and DVDs from back in the day when I still used them.

  However, I am curious: what is user hostile on the built-in disc burning feature? I only see one thing that I found sometimes annoying and it is only when I was burning large amounts of files and may close to put more files in the folder of the burn that would take on a single disc. It's a big news that I missed that I found the toast made better.

  As far as I know, HD-DVD player was offered for equipped laptops of HD-DVD player and your computer laptop doesn t have it so what you can try is Google around a little bit.

  I just bought a new and its been not formatted, so no recovery partition where drivers would be.

  The laptop has not been handed over with the recovery disk because there is a pre-installed tool called Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator.
  This software could create the recovery disk that allows the laptop to factory settings still.

  I understand the frustration did it to you.  The HP Toolbox is available only with the full feature software, which is not an option in Windows 7.
