L50-B-1UV satellite does not stop

I just bought my laptop which came with windows 8.1, I was not able to stop the laptop everytime I try to stop it rebooting the computer laptop just the only way to stop it is hold down the power button and force a stop down.

I checked everywhere in line and most of the forums say change power button settings and disable quick start upward, but it does not solve my problem. Also, my drivers are up to date. This seems to be a fairly common problem, but I couldn't find a solution.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello

Have you tried to make a complete stop?

I recently bought by Satellite L50-B-1VP and I have some problems to connect it to my TV.
I tried to use an HDMI cable and a VGA cable, but nothing happens.

The cables and the TV are ok because I've used them before.
When I try with the HDMI, it is said; no signal detected, but using the type TV VGA cable of restarts and the screen is black. I am using Windows 7 32 bit and I tried Fn + F4 and also Windows + P.

The problem is that the external TV is not recognized and it does not appear in the display settings.
    What can I do?

If someone could help me I would appreciate it a lot!

The phone is sold without a preinstalled Windows System. It seems that you have installed and configured Windows 7 at your own hand.

Well, I guess that the problems with the video output may be related to missing drivers or a bad configuration of the system.
From my point of few, you check some key points.

First I would recommend you to check if the essential graphics driver has been installed.
The laptop does not support dedicated graphics card, but the CPU (Intel N3540) provides internal GPU Intel HD Graphics.

So I recommend you to reinstall the Intel and the Intel Chip Set Utility display driver

  • L50-B-11J satellite does not recognize the HARD drive connected by USB 3.0

    Hello

I recently bought a new laptop and install a new legal copy of windows pro 8.1.

The problem that arises is actually a USB 3.0 port.
Also, I have a drive external hard support standard USB 2.0 and 3.0.

When I plug-in the hard drive into a USB 2.0 or any USB 3.0 port (two port supports USB 3.0 is disabled in the BIOS) fine, hard drive is recognized and I can access.

But, when I plug-in the hard disk into a USB 3.0 port (two port supports USB 3.0 is active in the BIOS) Windows does not recognize it and I can't access it.

The hard disk led flashes, so it has the power, but does not appear in the devices or Device Manager.
My opinion is that the problem may be with the drivers for USB, but Toshiba is supported for driver for USB 3.0 for Windows 8.1.

Then can someone suggest me what to do?

    Laptop: Satellite L50-B-11J
    USB ports: 1xUSB 2.0 port, 2xUSB 3.0 port
    Operating system: Windows Pro 8.1
USB 3.0 driver: Intel (r) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Control - 0100 (Microsoft)
External hard drive: support USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 standard

Intel USB 3.0 driver is part of the 8.1 Windows System... This is not supplied by Toshiba.

Windows 7 contains no such USB 3.0 driver and so you can download driver Intel USB 3.0 page of the Toshiba driver as well as the Intel download site.

By the way: try to disable the functionality of sleep & Charge and check how the HARD drive would work.

  • L50-B-1NL satellite does not start the system

My son 2 week old laptop is more load Windows.

When it turn it on the Toshiba start screen comes on then it starts to "diagnose you PC ' which does nothing for awhile then comes up with"Windows could not load properly and the option restore then returns to the start screen.

I went to the bios and loaded default installation but containing the foregoing. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

Turn on the device, press F12
Now you should see a Start Menu screen.
Last option should be HDD Recovery

Access the HARD drive recovery menu and choose troubleshoot
Then Advanced Options and auto repair

If this does not work, try refreshing the PC (without losing files)
If that doesn't work, reset the PC (will remove all files and set the notebook to factory settings)

  • Drive CD/DVD internal L50-B-1VE satellite does not

I have the following Satellite L50-B-1VE, problem updated to win10: I cannot mount DVD/Cd on my player. Using an external drive, it works. He used to work after upgrade win10.
I tried uninstalling the driver, the IDE controller, removing lowfilters in regedit (there is only anydvd) without success.

So there is doubt on the presence of a hw problem, I want to make sure of before you send it to a repair centre.

I tried with a picture of relief without success (unfortunately not enough - old problem is still there). I have also generated victory 8.1 recovery disk.

Here's what I think to move forward (alternatives):

    1. Doing a full backup to a drive ext, reset the PC to the factory (it will be 8.1), test pilot and restore using system restore
    2. Start Advanced 8.1 drive, check if at least one DVD can be read, he quit and restart normally.

Those above allows to be sure of the nature of the question?

    My questions:

    • Clearly the 2. Looks the less time-consuming. Can I assume that the driver is loaded to play the DVD are the factory ones? Is my configuration of win 10 preserved, so that I can avoid backup?
    • 2 is also the procedure I need to follow before you send the laptop to repair. In any case:
      • Any problem to recover an image to win 10 in a win environment 8.1?
      • I noticed that some programs use c: route to store their data (one of them is relevant to my tax data). Are these directories held by backup or manually register the)

    Thanking in advance suggestions/answers

My question is how do I roll back for CDs of native drivers set up so I can tell if it's a hardware or a sw problem?

  • Satellite A500D - fan does not stop

    Hello

Two days ago I updated the Bios to version 1.20 win, and since then, the fan is constantly at 72% and the temperature of the CPU at 36 º.

At Toshiba, I say it is normal, but the fan does not stop at any time and the noise is annoying.

Anteriormento updated the BIOS, the fan stopped and started and never surpassed 54%.

Looks like a vergueza by the care service, they have given me, I tried to deceive, as is normal for a portable fan that keeps 72%.

Please I need someone to tell me where I can download before my Bios and how to install it.

PS: My processor ens Turion Rm-77.

    A welcome message

    Hello

You mean the cooling module fan didn't run all the time with the previous BIOS version?

Well, in this case you must downgrade BIOS to the previous version.
The problem is that you can download the latest version of the BIOS from the Toshiba page.

But maybe a Toshiba ASP might help you and may downgrade the BIOS to the previous version

But have you tried to change the settings in Win 7 power option?
You can find it in the control panel-> power options

There you can change modes of single power supply.
In the power settings advanced, you'll find settings Toshiba energy saver and there you can change the method of cooling while the laptop is running on battery or power.

After updating my iPhone 6 (9.3.4) the WiFi signal becomes very low! I did everything, but the problem does not stop! I don't a not update my other devices & their very good WiFi signals. Please help me solve this terrible problem...

Here's a tip for the user on the problems of Wi - Fi. Suggest from the top and bottom. Maybe one of them will help you.

    (1) restart you device.

    (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

    (3) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (support Web site of the manufacturer for a new FW check). Also try different bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and different bandwidths (recommended for 2.4 to 20 MHz bandwidth). Channels 1, 6 or 11 are recommended for 2.4 band.

    (4) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

    (5) disable the prioritization of device on the router if this feature is available. Also turn off all apps to VPN and retest the Wi - Fi.

    (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

    (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

    (8) backup and restore the device using iTunes. Try to restore as New first and test it. If ok try to restore the backup (the backup may be corrupted).

    (9) go to the Apple store for the evaluation of the material. The Wi - Fi chip or the antenna could be faulty.

Firefox seems to have recently developed seemingly random usually do not remember bookmarks, particularly when the pc does not stop correctly. Thank you

If Firefox detects that the places.sqlite database is corrupted then Firefox can create a new database file and import bookmarks from a JSON backup that does not contain the most recent bookmarks (a new JSON backup is created when you run Firefox for the first time on a day), then you may lose the bookmarks in such a case.

You can check for problems with the database places.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

  • Tecra M3-264: the fan does not stop

    Hello

    I have a labtop Toshiba Tecra M3 264, it's wonderful BUT,.
The fan does not stop and this sound is a bit noisy in comparison with the other all I have.

Is this normal in this model or should I take it to the service?

    Hello

It is normal activity on new laptops cooling fan is very noticeable on older models. I recommend you to check what happen if you change the settings of cooling method in power management.

By the way: allow the unit to take a breath. Make sure that the ventilation openings are free and that there is nothing that can stop the flow of air. If the vents are dirty and full of dust, it can also be responsible for cooling fans runs often and with a higher speed.

    Good bye

  • E540: Fan does not stop

    Hello Board and support team!

The fan in my e540 does not stop once it began to turn. It is completely independent of the system temperature. Even if the room temperature and the cpu is less than 40 * C the fan will not stop.

The fan does not always turn, however. If I wake up the system from sleep mode or turn it on, the fan does not turn and will not start spinning until a certain threshold temperature is reached. This part of the fan control works correctly.

Interesting procedure: I work until the heating system and the fan starts. I waint until the system is cooled below 40 * C (checked with software speccy, the flow of air leaving the laptop is cold). The fan is still running at this stage and will turn probably forever. I suspend the laptop (no full stop not required). I immediatally 'wake up' the laptop (temperature of the system has not changed, no time to cool). The fan is off again and will not start turning until the temperature threshold is reached.

What can I do to fix this? I don't always want to suspend my laptop to turn off the fan. She has to stop on its own.

  • S440/Win10 - does not stop correctly

    Hello

I have upgraded to windows 10 recently. After the upgrade, sometimes, the laptop does not stopped correctly - windows stops, the screen goes black, but thinkpad red LED remains flashing and I hear the fans still doesn't work. To really stop I have to press and hold the power button. The battery also is to be served, because after that I left it like that night, it was gone.

Now, it's a little weird because it isn't always happens. It only seems to happen after that the laptop has been for a while. If I had to bet, it would be related to switchable graphics as the behavior resembles the problem with graphics terribly switchable and sleep on win8.1.

To work around this problem, I took to restart the computer and stop just after shot, but Needless to say it is suboptimal.

Anyone has any ideas on how to fix it?

I think I found a solution. I have seen this mentioned in other forums of laptop, and it seems to have fixed for me.

The culprit seems to be this driver:

Intel(r) Management Engine Interface Driver for Windows 10 (version 11)

If you install the earlier (version 9, should be on the lenovo driver page) it solves problems of stop/standby.

  • While the loop does not stop when the two values are equal using equal to comparitor

    Hello world

I have a really, really strange bug. I have a LabVIEW VI that change a chain on a power supply. I have a start and a stop voltage and use a while loop to increment the device. For example if I want to scan from 1, 2V to 2.2 V in 0.2 V incremements, the program will end when "The current tension" = "stop the tension." And it works very well!

However, when I start - 3 V and want to stop to say-0.8 (new in 0.2 V incremements) the program does not stop when "The current tension" = "stop the tension." I checked with the probe close to what should be the end of the race and - 0.8 V goes both of the entries ' equal to ' comaprison operator, but that his can't trigger a real result.

It's very strange for me. Espeically as if I'm going - 0.8 V to-2 V but decrement of-0.2 V, the program stops correctly!

    I am very confused!

    See you soon!

  • Called vi with one hand, it does not stop

    Hi all

I try to call a vi of a principal, I have succedded to call the vi but I couldn't stop the main vi and the called vi does not stop and disappear. Where I did wrong?

LabVIEW follows a model of data flow for execution of vis a block diagram node runs when it receives all the required inputs. When a node is running, it produces output data and transmits data to the next node in the path of the data stream. The flow of data on the nodes determines the order of execution of the VIs and functions on the block diagram. Source

Once you have called your Subvi, your main VI is pending so that it ends before it can move to the next State in the state machine which is the reason why it will not stop.  If you want to run a separate VI, you can call an asynchronous mode

  • Simulation does not stop in the Loop Simulation & control

I'm working on a settlement in a loop of control & Simulation. I created a State space model and an inside observer.

Now, I've implemented nearlly all, but now the simulation does not stop.

First here is a picture of the .vi when it still works:

But this isn't the end result, I want to have.

I want to connect the output of the subtrahation (2 x - y) at the entrance to the exterior product.

You can see from the image below:

If I do, my continious simulation and never stops. The simulation time is always set to 10 sec.

The .vi is attached. I hope someone can help me.

I don't understand your suggestion. I've set up a node of your comments, but this does not solve the problem.

But I found another solution to the problem. I build the .vi completely new and used the arithmetic of the design group Signal and control Simulation. The gain block and the summation block works better in my case that digital add and multiply the blocks. Now, the tracks of the simulation and the regulation works well.
