L530, DC in question jack

So the power supply for my L530 is loose enough so that the cable is no longer able to stay in position to load. I have already sent to a Lenovo authorized service partner, but it's a question that a typical owner may apply? I'm usually good with software and can ignite the material maintenance, but this is something quite new for me.

Don't think that you are supposed to replace yourself. However, it is possible however. I suggest you try to get it fixed under warranty, first. Have you contacted technical support with your problem?

If your warranty has expired, you may open the L530, determine the defective part, or take a picture. Then put a picture here of the defective parts. Then I'll look it up for you the parts you need to buy to replace yourself and send you a link of the hardware maintenance manual.

  • INSPIRION 3543 - question about jack combo

Hi, I have a question about a laptop Inspiron 3543. He installed the combo input jacks, and I need to use the line of input and output audio.

Question 1: Is - it enough for me for this purpose a headphone splitter - 2 jack x ordinary?

Hello. Jack combo on the Inspiron 15 3543 is intended to be used with standard stereo headphones, or with headphones (stereo headset with a built-in mono microphone).

In theory, a dispatcher or an adapter with a plug out of SOCKET (tip, ring, ring, sleeve) can be used with a combo Jack. A plug from SOCKET looks like this:

However, we have received many messages from people saying that the adapter did not work for them. Some people have posted and said that the adapter works for them.

Note that the entry of a combo Jack is mono. There is no way to make it be a stereo input.

Question 2: Is this laptop allows you to adjust the entry on the line in mic?

You can set the input mic in sound properties volume (Control Panel > Sound). Open the properties of the sound, and then click the recording tab at the top. Right click on the Microphone. Click 'properties '. Click the tab at the top levels to find the sliders to adjust the volume of the mic input.

It is similar to this image, except that you must click on 'Levels', not 'listen '.

  • iPhone 7 lightning to the questions of the audio input jack

I often connect my phone to listen to music on stereo systems for listening to music out loud. When I used to do with my 6s, I had no problem with the sound output. Since switching to the iPhone 7 that I need to use the adapter to play music, but when I do this the sound is very distorted and sometimes if you put the volume a bit higher up the music stops. Even with a lower volume, it is still quite distorted. When I use a headset with the adapter and plug the phone into my car is fine no problem and sounds. It is only when I play music on the radio.

I talked to Apple support and they were not really able to diagnose the problem or give me a solution.

I was wondering if anyone else has problems with the lightning to the audio jack connector or something similar? and everyone is aware of any other superior quality adapters, you can buy or if there is a fix by apple to do deal with this?

I don't have the problems you describe at all.

To the extent where a 'solution' by Apple, not sure there is any 'broken' to fix.  Anyway, we are users here on this forum, we would have no idea what Apple would do.  Speculation is prohibited by the terms of use of this forum.

  • BlackBerry smartphones Phone Jack questions

Hello, looked back about 9 pages for something similar, so I don't waste anyone's time, but couldn't find anything.

Here's my dilemma: my headphones won't play Pandora.  Seems to work (headset jack) fine for everything else, telephone conversations, downloaded mp3s, etc., but for some reason, Pandora will not come through. It worked to a point, and I don't think I changed anything.

It's as if I can move out and carefully taking back, he will hit a spot and play, then stop.  Do not get this with something else (as mentioned above).

Thanks in advance for all possible solutions.

Huh.  Crazy.  Who did.  Thank you!  I always forget about this.  Seems too easy and simple.

  • With no headphone jack, how to use the iPhone in my car 7

Okay, so here's the challenge.  I have a power source and a headphone and not Bluetooth.  It works perfectly with iPhones before 7.  But with 7, it isn't possible to use the same configuration I had for years.  I own my car, and I have no interest in buying a new car just to support a new phone.  And since this will be a problem for the years to come if I stay with Apple, I would like to know what are the solutions are available.

So, how to use the new iPhone 7 while remaining responsible and using my car speakers?  Dongles Bluetooth that I need to reload, it's probably not.

Thus, looking for ideas that might have people.  I can't be the only one with this concern.

It's almost a certainty that a third party adapter will appear quickly. The new Macbook has a single port usb - c and people asked the same question, 'how to load and use USB at the same time." There are today dozens of solutions for the Macbook, and then it will be with the iPhone 7. An adapter with a 3.5 mm jack and a port of loading Lightening would be my guess. Kickstarter entrepreneurs are probably already working on it.

  • Compaq Mini 110: Polarity of power supply jack

    Hello

I have a HP/Compaq Mini 110 that was given to me because both the battery and the AC adapter was lost. I have a power supply of the correct voltage (19 VDC) and can get an outlet of the right size. I need to know what the polarity of the plug must be, for example, is the center of the end positive or negative? I also need to know if the computer will be also powered if one battery (even dead) is not installed. If it will power-up with the polarity a/c adapter, I'm going to buy a battery, otherwise I don't lose money. Shame on HP/Compaq to not show a pictorial of polarity on the camera body. If I can get going, have enough moxie upgrade to Windows 10? Thank you.

    Here is the Service Manual:

    Manual

See p. 54 on the hard drive. She straight plug the motherboard, but it shows a cart or make sledding which does not move there and the SSD is welded to a SATA connector. For some time I took one of these apart.

He's a regular SATA and the size limit, it's what is on the market, not the hardware, so you could theoretically install a 2 TB or a 2.5 inch SATA SSD. You could probably get one inch 80 gig SATA SSD 2.5 for a pittance and it would run as well as he is capable of running.

The memory you have is DDR2-800, but the system he clocks up to speed DDR2-533.

The power Jack is soldered to the motherboard and there is no way I know to stretch upward. A lot of youtube videos on the welding on a new jack and you can find the plug for a few dollars. It is not a work that I do, but I saw several times and I think you can probably manage it if you have the soldering equipment.

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more. I understand that the headphone jack on the top of your computer is not recognizing what is connected, and I'd be happy to help you! To start, I have to ask you a few questions:

    • What is product and model number from your desktop?
    • What version of Windows you have installed on your computer?
    • Are you able to produce sound from the headphone jack on the back of the computer?
    • Has your computer finished all his important updates from Windows?
    • Have you updated your drivers from HP the HP SupportWizard?
    • Is this a recent or current program?
    • You are able to recognize USB devices on top of your computer, where the plug headphones on it?

In the meantime, I recommend that you follow this document on the no sound on speakers (Windows 8). This should help to produce a sound of the headphonejack on the top of your desktop.

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, as well as the information requested above. I look forward to your reply!

Is the touchpad made by / to use the Alps or Synaptics driver?

It has the Wireless N network card, is the map made by Intel or Realtec?

And also, someone has experience with face recognition software to connect?

If so, does it take a lot of time to initalise?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jack

The P300 - 18M belongs to the PSPCCE series.

  • Satellite C660 - Broken output Audio Jack

    Hello ;)

I'll give a brief overview of how it happened. I was listening to music, with the speaker cable plugged into the audio output jack. I myself am moved suddenly, not realizing the speaker cable was wrapped around my leg, pulling off so it out of the output audio quite violently. I quickly realized that I had broken the audio output jack and not the speaker cable, as the helmet also doesn't work at all and the stereo cable works fine in my flat mate's laptop.

My question is this: is it possible to switch the audio output with the mic/line Jack Jack?

It would be a very simple way to solve my problem. I searched in google and it seems that some people can do with their audio drivers/software. I searched via the software "SmartAudio' very limited in the Panel, and as far as I can tell it is absolutely useless. Windows possess sound settings gave the answer either.

In any case, is anyway that I can do this? And if not, which was to replace the sound card? Or is integrated into the motherboard sound card?

It's hard enough for me, being a somewhat creepy audiophile, any help in this matter would be much appreciated

    > My question is this: is it possible to switch the audio output with the mic/line Jack Jack?
No, I don't think that this is possible. The microphone and headphone jack are part of the motherboard
I m not very well if this tiny part can be replaced separately, I guess that's not possible, and in this case the motherboard needs to be replaced :(

  • Output port headphone jack damaged.

MY helmet was damaged recently or a long time ago, and my apple headphones will not change the audio volume of the right atrium is weird. My other headphones that have two metal strips, not three Jack, still work fine with it. I tested my apple earbuds and they work fine. Of course, I see a bit of damage around the port. My question is, should I ignore it or fix it? I can put it off for a while.

Depends... unless it's a manufacturing defect, it will not be covered by the warranty. (If you have apple care more then it would be your 2 allowed accidental damage repairs)

So, if you take it and it is not covered, then it's out of warranty replacement. In this case, turn off the power as long as you want because it's going to be a few hundred dollars (for out of warranty, you pay a fee and replace your iPad for a replacement... which usually isn't new)

If you don't need apple care more then it is better for you to take before this warranty expires because the freshest apple care is $ 49
