  I got this job a few months ago. Now, I can't check on my D1560 printer ink levels, I don't know when this started to happen. I checked the forums and trying different things:

  What's wrong???

  And also when I go to the control panel > devices and printers > D1560 > Printer preferences > Services, there is not button to check ink levels. Only alighn cartridges and cleaning cartridges. (hp Toolbox is missing). I have same HP solution, I just want to check the ink level, because there is no other way to do it.

  Is there a replacement maybe program that can tell me the ink levels?

• Photosmart Pro B9180... Pulling hair out after Win 7 64 of the Vista 64 update!

  Since the upgrade to Vista 64 for Win 7 Ultimate 64 I was able to print in any way useful to my HP Photosmart Pro B9180 via a USB connection or a network of residential group.

  Now, after vainly trawling online and for a solution to my problem for several weeks now, I fear that the £600.00 so-called 'linchpin' my fledgling photographic printing company I've conquered, is in fact a total and absolute "lemon", this much praised (at least I thought that this was the case, having found very little negative comments!) professional photo printer must be honest , "is not fit for purpose". At least when we're trying to operate in an environment of Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit, that is.

  The situation sucks big time in my opinion and I'm pretty much at the end of my home, with no ideas on how to get to where I want to be on the left.

  I just bought my first Mac after PC since 1982 (Yes, 82) and I'm going crazy trying to find, download and install my presets to develop favorite. I am running 2.4 on my Macbook. I had no evil of download and installation of presets on my PC but on all the Mac, I get is gray file names with good .lrtemplate file extensions on the download page they specified Mac. I can't them in any directory, they should be in and even if I try to use the option of adding a flash player he doesn't 'see' them.

• Why Netflix asking you to connect on Apple TV?

  This seems odd. It's a very small chance that someone is playing tricks on you. If someone else (including the possibility of netflix employees) have your username and password, he or she can log on remotely (from another computer) and log out of your session or all currently connected sessions (who will sign your out automatically) to make you crazy.

  I would go to a computer, sign in, change the password and security questions and answers, wait a few hours, reconnect to netflix to apple tv and see what he does now. I doubt there is a problem with the apple tv because it works very well (if it works fine as you only) with other applications.

  If this does not help then create an apple tv reset to factory settings it may take you 10-15 minutes (save all your hassle of pulling hair...) If you have hair... (LOL). In addition, you can take screenshots of all your settings from apple photo so you remember how to set them up again after the reset. • Black and white Tv with Qosmio G10 106 images

  Gray hair and going bald of pulling hair. Bought Toshiba G10-106 Jan 05, living in Ireland, using Tv ordinary cable adapter for laptop and can't get the Tv working properly. B & w images are the best ive got so far.

  Is there compatibility with Toshiba and Windows MCE driver problems? Also, if I run Tv without having to start windows I get a channel (E4) in color but totally blurry. Would like to have this cracked as worn a lot of dosh on the laptop and I'm relatively new to computers and want a good factor of feeling rather than depression.

• Equium nDraft Wlan connection - RESOLVED

  Hope this story helps someone out there in the land having connection problems wireless. Writing on behalf of my Toshiba Equium loving daughter.

  I upgraded Oct last millennium to a new Vista desktop PC, computer laptop, Wi - Fi router and broadband.
  Router is a D DIR635 - Link which is nDraft; the PC is also activated nDraft.

  Cannot connect PC. Toshiba laptop connected instantly as he does for her BT Home hub back in Nottingham. Discovered new pilot on Ralink, downloaded, auto hunted the old wireless card and installed the new, workgroup PC. Bought Dell computer laptop to use throughout the House which connected instantly. Hunkey dorey everthing!

  One night him refuses to Tosh connect but can see everyone elses router in the street but not one 2 feet farther. Takes what it home works very well on the BT Home Hub (but not in a Lake District wified). So, can't be too bad should be simple, but several weeks of pulling hair (Nothing in any case) no solution. The frustration is identical to all the forums I've visited!

  One night us hit on the idea of the transmission channel, the D-Link is very sophisticated, it is set to Auto and search/transmit between 1 and 13. Tosh laptop computer watch property pilot is set to 10 with no option to change which seemed strange. The BT Home hub in Nottingham should be happy with the current driver being channel 10. There was also the option of RESTORATION of THE PILOT we did, the ability to change the channel between 1 and 10 is also check back as solved the problem of Wi - Fi!

  I have my operating system that is installed on a separate lightning drive: OS_APPS_HD

  I have all my data on a separate hard drive, in my case "phrankHD".

  If I ls in /, I get:

  Users->/Volumes/phrankHD/Users

  So, I have not ZERO, but TWO of them, apparently very important directories users / shared.

  / Volumes/OS_APPS_HD/users/shared / (which I think that I do not at all, but timestamps seem a bit sus)

  and

  / Volumes/phrankHD/users/shared which is where to go if I go to/Users/Shared.

  Now... what the hell to do from here?

  Keep in mind, I am trying to log in the Mac App store to try to get a copy of the update of the opening - this 'Pro' abandoned Apple app and I have to dig my library of.

  After a few 'ls' compares, I guess that I have only a SINGLE Directory/Users/Shared.  I'm getting confused by the Volumes bit, but I think that both * Shared Directories / Users / I above are the same.

  Yes, I am registered on iTunes, my iPhone, etc. rebooted, disconnected, cursed, pulled hair.  Nothing works.

  Another note, the Mac App Store is defaulting to my iCloud UID and not my App store (I made the mistake of buying Apple products online in the past and now have a double life ID with them - another headache). Who would have something to do with it?  (Their tools and web hosting was another abandoned product that left me high and dry)

• Flex 2 network slows down the entire network

  I bought a Flex 2 a few weeks ago. Installed the software Office 365 and creative cloud by Adobe. Everything worked well on both networks, I connect to.

  Today, performance on the entire network is now gone to the dogs. At first, I suspected the provider or router so crossed all the routines of standard service (this disconnect, which reboot) again and again. Same face, deadly slow performance of several PC and Mac on the network.

  Then, I hit on the idea to close my Lenovo. Suddenly, network download speed of 2 MB/s and the ping from 2000 MS to more normal speeds returned.

  I restarted the Lenovo a couple of times, from 2, 4 GHz to 5 with the same result.

  At some point when I plugged the Lenovo directly into the modem (part of the diagnosis) direct speed seemed faster.

  Because the router works perfectly with all the other machines and I haven't changed a thing on it, and because the symptoms get carried away on the network when the Lenovo is cut, I can only assume that there is something to do with the Lenovo Flex 2 and how it communicates with the rest of the network.

  I should also add that I tried to plug an ethernet cable to make sure that it wasn't just a wireless thing. Still had the slow performance.

  I'm pulling my hair out over this, if I can't fix it, I can't work (no one in my office will be able to work) and will have to return the machine...

  Any ideas?

  After much pulling hair and analysis where the traffic was, it turns out it was a Microsoft cloud service a too aggressive drive that decided to download dozens of large files at the same time instead of in series. This excessive series of connections slowed down the rate of time and transfer of ping everything on the network. Disable updates for OneDrive during periods of work seems to have solved the problem.

  That said, working on this, I see that updates from Lenovo is continually a significant overhead. Do not understand why it takes so resources...

• The Atheros driver update / / no network found

  After having the support assistant yell me for 2 days on updates, I thought it was finally time to upgrade my HP Pavilion g6-2230sa Notebook PC.

  Is there a driver for Atheros 802.11b/g/n wifi adapter AR9485 update, which seems to have destroyed my adapter. Troubleshooting shows no problem, but it is impossible to find all the networks.

  Thinking (read: know) that it is a driver error, I tried to roll back the driver to the previous version that worked very well. I couldn't restore the driver becase there was no option for. I guess that's because it has been updated through the support Wizard.

  After trying for two hours to get in touch with HP's award-winning customer service, I gave up and found myself here, at the mercy of everything what you forum fans.

  If someone has experienced this situation or something similar and have a solution, please, please, let me know what magic you have to fix!

  After 4 hours of tweaking, pull hair and cigarettes I finally fixed.

  Several attempts to restore the system and uninstalling the AV and other programs not factor eventually led to a restoration of the system successfully.

  Feature WiFi is back and I will never ignore my scream HP support assistant.

• The case of the Radio leak function...

  I just put the latest firmware (01.01.12E) on the express (as expected with this shit reader, it was virtually impossible and took hours of pulling hair and usually get mad at the installation completely and totally incorrect instructions) and for some reason, the radio feature has completely disappeared from the main menu.  Why has this happened?  How a whole function just disappears?  Does anyone have a solution to use? (after all, it is one of the few functions on the machine that actually worked at a level before the update) Programmers do use sandisk or just a bunch of monkeys sitting randomly pressing buttons and hoping for the best?

  It is my understanding that in Europe some Sandisk readers do not include the function radio due to licensing issues.

  Do you know if you had European or Pacific firmware of your drive before?  A change in the firmware can offer a change in functionality.

  If it was mine, I would try the Pacific firmware.

  It is my assumption that SanDisk uses programmers rather than monkeys, but I suspect that they have little say about end EBU.

  I seriously need help, I have tried all sorts of Fix it programs, security, ect. I scanned for days, nothing detected.

  I realized a problem when I tried to uninstall a software, I denied access. And Yes, I have full admin, I checked that first.

  Also I can't use Windows update, but can update directly from the download page of microsoft Security Essentials will not update or another.

• Cisco to indexing Media Player

  When I open the media player of Cisco in my music library, I received a message that the program was indexing and try again later.  When I was finally able to open my library, a number of songs by different artists and albums was a 'Different' kind and have been moved from their normal positiions.  Characteristics and aid for the Media Player is pretty lame, and I need to know how I can get Cisco Media Player for re - indexing my library back to its original state.  Refresh areas and places is not the case.

  Well well, after a lot of gnashing of teeth and pull hair, I finally gave in and called Linksys support.  Most of the suggestions of the tech were things that we talked about earlier, such as the cache of hunting.  I described to him that I uninstalled the program and reinstalled at least three times without success.  "After you have uninstalled I even went into the registry and elminated any reference or the key that contains the words"Cisco Media"and CiscoMedia.  After each installation, Cisco Media Player didn't show my music library, but he could play radio stations.   The program would also give me the same message he had earlier on the indexing of files.

  It is at this point that the tech said something that stunned me.  He asked about the version of LELA and compilation.  When I told her I got the latest version, he says that I was running the 32-bit version.  My operating system is Vista Ultimate 64.  «When I loaded the program from the CD, it was an older version of LELA so the program automatically downloaded the latest version of ' 32-bit»  The tech gave me the URL for the 64-bit version - http://update.linksys.com/lela/install/lela-64.exe.  I uninstalled everything, including LELA and went in and removed from the registry as before.  In addition, I made sure that the Cisco Media Player folder has been deleted from the folder Program files (x 86).  After that I installed the 64-bit LELA and Cisco Media Center, everything came right.  Music files were there and properly indexed and LELA wasn't weird about connections as before.

  What really aggravates me is the fact that the installation never disc processing not me on the operating system I was using.  It loaded automatically the 32-bit version and then downloaded the updated version.  Not only that but I have never see any reference in its support page on a 64-bit version.  It was a significant aggravation with 's' capital.  Well at least I don't feel I lost $300 on a POS.  Things are working fine now, and I guess that's what's important.
