• My slides keep a break

  My slides keep a break while I'm previewing the file (even when it was published). Bubbles of suspicion will load for some slides and not for others. The only way to go start the slide is again to click pause and the play button.

  In fact, I think that I thought about it. The slides were not load in properly because one of the preserved objects one break after 0.1 sec. The culprit was the text box. I changed the calendar under the text box options to "take a break after 3 seconds" and now it works. It comes in combination with my work earlier around to only put a bubble of suspicion on each slide.

• Eliminating the HTML but keep line breaks

  I'm hosting public users to submit the text of a field "description". However, I must reject HTML when it is displayed. I found the HTMLEditFormat() function that does this, but I lose line breaks and paragraph breaks.
  
  After the search this site for answers, I can't find a solution to keep the line breaks AND paragraph breaks while eliminating the HTML.
  
  I tried the below functions, but all have a problem. The closest one is NOT in <!-xyz-> comments. It removes HTML, preserves the new paragraphs but NOT line breaks. I can not find a solution that makes all three.

  The use of < PRE > is the only one that preserves the jumps of line, but since users enter text in a text box that uses the line feed. The result pushes the long string of text in the table on the right side of the screen... .it can be enormous. So if I had a solution to force text < PRE > back to the line, I would be done.

  OK, I found a solution: I have relaized I could save version (inset) HTML-stripped of the description in the database first. I did it using:

  <[^>]*>","","ALL")>

  Then when displaying, this simple replace preserves there line breaks AND new paragraphs:
  #Replace (description, "#chr (13) ##chr (10) #","")
  (', 'all') #.

• LabVIEW 2014/2015 break with my library of wrappers

  I have a lot of LabVIEW package screws saved in LV8.6 library, they almost all containing call library function node. Recently, I was working on a new program that uses these library live I have found that when you use these screws it causes LabVIEW to crash. Accidents are not due to errors of execution, but can occur during execution and development (is not running).

  Here's my sympthoms with different versions of labVIEW.

  • LabVIEW 2010 - these accidents do not happen at all.
  • LabVIEW 2014 - blocks most of the 3 versions I tested it. LabVIEW has crashed on me when you press "save all", "run", "exit / close ', double click on a Sub VI to open it (the library VIs and SubVIs new for the new program).
  • LabVIEW 2015 - seems to be a bit more stable then 2014. I only noticed crashes when you press "save all" and "exit/close.

  I tried the following

  • I read on the forums that opening the screw with a new version, massive compilation and save for precedent could solve the problem. I tried with no luck.
  • Mass, compilation of all screws of 8.6 library into the new version of LV before trying to use them in an application. This has no effect either.

  Is labVIEW a problem or a problem with my screws?

  In simple, no words. With the exception of the variable QR codes, merge data has remained the same since that post.

  The current solution of:

  • put a delimiter in the source file, such as
    or | to represent the newline; then
  • Merge into a new indesign file and use find/replace to replace the separator for a line break

  Is always the simplest solution with the data merge.

  Data merge isn't the only way to import variable data. XML is another way, but the learning curve is steep. The rewards are worthwhile, but prepare to invest some many hours in learning!

  Otherwise, perhaps consider a third party plug-in which may be more appropriate than merge data.

  Rest assured, you are not alone. All I can suggest is to go to the feature request/Bug Report Form and the application as a feature request.

  If I resized the text layer as a whole, the line breaks are maintained. But what I needed was to be able to evolve only the bounding box, without scaling the text and keep line breaks.

  In any case, I found a way to do it.

  Duplicate the text layer. Convert to point text. This will add breaks in these places. Find the positions of the breaks and introduce them to the original layer. Remove the extra layer.

  something tells me that you will not be able to access the formatting information you need of pl/sql.

  ... and... If you could, it would be undocumented... which means it will break the next hotfix/update.

• HTMLEditFormat/HTMLCodeFormat with line breaks and newline

  I seeks to some user entered the information on the screen and hit my a problem of output formatting. If I use HTMLEditFormat(), I lose all the line breaks, but that Word wraps nicely. If I use HTMLCodeFormat(), I get line breaks, but the text isn't as word wrap, making some really large screens, even if I put the information in a table with specific to a specific width defined. Is there a way to get the best of both worlds? I need to be able to keep line breaks (sometimes they seized lists or have several paragraphs) but want to word wrap too so that it is easy to read without scrolling sideways. Any ideas?

  Thanks for your suggestions. Given that the information is entered by external users and displayed to the public, I use HTMLEditFormat and HTMLCodeFormat to help prevent script attacks, so don't really want to drop them altogether. However, I discover after playing with the suggestion listed here, it will work: #Replace (HTMLEditFormat (mytext), chr (10),')

  Your VI shows that you need the "enqueue element" button lit in order to the data in the queue to your consumer loop.  It is set to 'switch' action instead of "closure", which means it will remain lit once pressed until what you press it again to turn if off.

  But I think the problem you encounter, it's that you have a structure of the event in the same loop that has no timeout on it.  Event structure is sitting there waiting until that event occurs, then it lets you iterate, the loop can come back to wait on the structure of the event.  Events that are recorded in the event structure are stop, change the value;  Start logging, change the value; and the change in the value of several of your digital controls.  So unless one of these events occurs, your producer loop will keep a break.  I would recommend either a value of timeout on the structure of the event, or displacement of the structure of the event out of the loop and put in its own loop 'user interface '.

  Each call has its own set of data.  So the VI called in the init case are different from those in the case of 1 meter or 2 meters.  If you have really 6 counters in your VI.  Need proof?  Put a looop FOR around your VI and have to go twice.  You will notice that you will get 10 to 1 meter in the meter case 1.  It has not been reset as you wanted to happen in the case of the init, because these calls in the case of the init are different instances than in the case of meter 1.
