LabVIEW library for twain

We are currently using the demo version we sent by Graftek Imaging on the following link:

FTP://FTP.AllianceVision.com/LabVIEWtools/Toolkit Twain LabVIEW.zip boxes.

After reading the manual and install the libraries successfully, we are not able to run the DEMO VI included in the lib of the user. We get an error: error 97 took place at an unknown system error in TWAINV5 - clear Acquisition.vi-> TWAINV5 - demo IMAQ 1. vi this is due to the "Open Source Manager VI" due to the error: - 2147221164 - class not registered in TWAINV5 - Open Source Manager.vi-> TWAINV5 - demo IMAQ 1. vi

To ensure that our DSM and the Data Source to scan (Canon LIDE220) are connected successfully, we used twacker32 and everything was fine. We do not know if our problem is with the installation of law libraries, or using the library of the Vision of the Alliance. We are very interested in resolving this issue and who runs the application before investing in a license. Thank you for your support.
Steps to reproduce the BP: we have just opened the files of the DEMO: demo IMAQ1 and IMAQ 2 demo.

Eve thnx for your concern... .i got the solution of the question which is the version compatabilities I work on labview 2015 64-bit and the cannon scanner scangear is 32-bit, which causes the conflict in labview twain driver which is obtained by the site of the alliance and the scanner driver

is what I do for the solution: using labview 2015 32bits and the scangear driver to my scanner and it works well

  • How to create the shared library for linux real-time target in labVIEW Windows?

I use myRIO running linux in real time. In my project, I need to pack some C code, so I tried the node library function call.

I know that I should use the tools compile cross - compile linux on Eclipse to compile c code in linux .so library. But the problem is that call library function node does not recognize the .so file because my labVIEW runs on a Windows PC.

What should I do to fix and how to combine C code with labVIEW during programming for devices shipped as myRIO?

Basically, you must also create a Windows DLL that exports the same functions. These functions can be empty stubs if you do not want to run the code correctly on Windows, otherwise you will need to consider how to implement the equivalent functionality on the Windows API.

Then you can write in your node library call as the name of the library ". "*" and the name of the shared library Windows ".dll" while the Linux version is called "name of your library > .so". LabVIEW will replace the * after the comma in the name of library with everything that is the preferred extension shared library for the platform it is running on and therefore load the right shared library.

Alternatively you can wrap call all the nodes of the library in a structure that contains the node library in the case of Linux RT and all what you want to run on other platforms in the case of default or a case of specific platform, call the conditional compilation.

I need to build a shared library for NI Linux time real (.so) which corresponds to a shared library, which I create on Windows (.dll).

I have the C code that needs to call a function of VI. On Windows, I have a project that allows me to create and build a "Shared Library (DLL)", but I don't see the same option available in a real-time project targeting the cRIO-9068. Am I missing something, or is it not still possible?

    Hi Wayne,

Using LabVIEW VIs in other programming only possible through dll environments. In LabVIEW there are options for creating libraries and source, but these distributions will be accessible in LabVIEW and not in other programming environments.

  • I accidentally changed a *.vi labview library file. How can I fix my system?

    Dear Sir:

I work with Labview version 8.5. works on Windows Vista o/s.

I accidentally changed a *.vi Labview library file and now some programs which in the past has executed correctly, no more to run correctly.

I have modified the library is named lvsound.llb and the file I changed, "SO Write.vi".

I made two changes, however, the first amendment has been removed.

That's what happened.   I modified the file SO Write.vi by chance, somehow, a link has been broken.

I thought I could repair the file copy of a file to write identical SO that I had stored on another computer.     What I've done I copied the work SO Write.vi content block diagram (which was stored on a disk that is external and not stored in the 'sound' of Labview installation folder) and then I opened the SO Write.vi in the lvsound.llb (this is the *.llb of Labview installed) and deleted everything in the block and then diagram I replaced the block diagram with the copied block diagram.   I thought that that would solve my problems because the copied program did not have a cut connection - no broken arrow icon).     However, I soon discovered that programs that completed successfully before the accident, still not function properly after swapping content block diagram.

I have attached a picture of the error message.

Can someone tell me please the safest way to fix my system?

Don't exchange the content of block diagram, or if you do so, as it was put in place the same connector pane. When you have removed all the controls and indicators, the connector pane has been authorized which explains why things that call this Subvi will not see that it has no control. To fix it, you need match this component of the connector:

To set up, click an empty area of the connector pane, and then click the command corresponding or indicator. For example, down to the left of your new connector pane, click on the bottom left box, and then click 'error (no errors)' control for screws outside pass an error via the connector pane. To see where everything is connected, I would recommend that you go to a computer with a working version and one by one, click on the terminal part of the connector and the corresponding command will highlight:

for example, clicking on the top left corner will highlight control "ID of the task in.

Another option you have is to simply copy the .vi itself (file, block diagram not only) of library work, delete or rename the current "SO Write.vi" and simply drag the file .vi from the Explorer on the LLB Manager.

  • ICloud using photo library for the first time

I am considering switching to iCloud photo library for the first time - mainly so I'll be able to use the new functionality of memories in iOS 10. However, I have quite a large library of Photos on my Mac and I'm worried about the mistakes of synchronization, bugs and any damage my irreplaceable photos. I have a Time Machine backup, but each backup on which generally only lasts a week or so, and with a large library of errors can take some time to appear. Should I be worried? Are there precautions I need to take?

In view of all the people who use it, there are very few messages on issues. Since you have a backup, you can still recover. You can consider to get a 2nd external and make a copy of your photo library in order to have 2 backups. Depending on the size of your library, you may need to purchase additional iCloud storage as free storage space is 5 GB. With a large number of photos, it will take much time to complete the synchronization. Some people have posted their s took 2 to 4 weeks. Our respective synchronization went well and we had no problem.

  • Transfer Mac Air Aperture library for iMac.

Transfer Mac Air Aperture library for iMac. I placed the library is on an external HD; connected to the iMac; switched to the libraries on the ext HD; go to file > import > library-however the dialog box has the desired gray library. It shows another Aperture library (the iMac original Aperture library that I've got on the same post HD for the trip).

    Any thoughts?

Could solve the problem now?  Usually only the library that is currently open in Aperture will be grayed out. your screenshot looks you had currently open "Library Aperture 2" opening and could open "Aperture library.

Try again to move to the correct library that you want to import.

The last message is in 2004 (see below)

The instrument for the HP 35670 A driver is only
supported under LabVIEW 6 and 7. You need to upgrade to the latest

  • Can LabVIEW Embedded for ARM works with any Board or just with a few predefined?

    Hello

Can LabVIEW Embedded for ARM works with any evaluation committee or just with a few predefined (MCB2300, MCB2400 and EK-LM3S8962)? I ask this question because even if I chose "another processor" in the definition of the new project only 3 options are the corresponding arm of Phillips and LuminaryMicro.

    Thanks in advance,

    Howdy,

LabVIEW for ARM supports the feature of targets for tier 1 (the mentioned Evaluation Committee) following this schema:

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/tut/p/ID/7066

But you can transfer to other weapons if you follow this porting guide:

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/tut/p/ID/6994

The uProcesser SDK is intended for the port of other targets of DEPENDENCE (32-bit, of course) and technically it covers ARM as well. Alternatively, there are the LabVIEW C Code Generator: http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/209015

  • LabVIEW Interface for installation of the Arduino

I want to install the LabVIEW Interface for Arduino Toolkit, so I can control an Arduino Uno R3.  Say the instructions to download and install the VIPM and then you can download and install the Toolkit through the VIPM.  The only problem is that workplace of our company doesn't have access to the internet for security reasons, so the VIPM will not be able to download the Toolkit.  How can I download manually the Toolbox for a laptop without LabVIEW, save it on a usb key, then install manually on the workstation with LabVIEW?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I asked the very question sometime back and here is the answer I received. I decided to use another computer on the network for the work of the Arduino, so I never tried what was suggested.

Let us know how it turns out.

  • NOR-IMAQ library for the 64 bit version does exist?

    I use PCIe-1429 and NOR-IMAQ 4.1 and programming on VS2005.

NOR-IMAQ library for the 64 bit version does exist?

    Wooddoll,

    In general, 64-bit import libraries are installed in C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\Shared\ExternalCompilerSupport\C\Lib64\MSVC\imaq.lib for 64-bit variants.

The 64 bits real DLL is usually installed in C:\windows\system32\imaq.dll.

  • LabVIEW parallel for loop and OpenMP

    Hello:

It's just a curious post, I just learned about OpenMP and I found that OpenMP helps you to parallelize loops in c about the same way that you can use the loop For parallel in LabVIEW.

The loop For Parallel LabVIEW is being implemented under the hood using OpenMP? Or is it just a coincidence?

No, it is not implemented LabVIEW parallel for loop under the hood using OpenMP. You might be interested to read this article on modern developments in the LabVIEW compiler architecture. Specifically, in this case, it's the DFIR technology discussed here that facilitates parallel for loop transformations.

  • Ev3 addon for LabVIEW 2014 for education

    Hi guys

I bought a 2014 LabVIEW for educational license.

Now I would like to program a LEGO EV3 brick.

But when I want to start a new program, I am only able to connect to a LEGO NXT brick.

I tried to download the new addons of LEGO, but it does not work.

You can give me an advice what to do?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Bunraz,

have downloads you tried? This one for EV3?

Community: NOR LabVIEW for LEGO® MINDSTORMS® / LabVIEW add-on for LEGO MINDSTORMS - download - National Instruments
    https://decibel.NI.com/content/docs/doc-15615

and then on the following link?

Module LabVIEW, 2014 for LEGO MINDSTORMS - National Instruments
    http://www.NI.com/download/LabVIEW-NXT-module-2014/4761/en/

Can you give me a detailed description on what does not work? Or a small step by step what you do?

You can attach a screenshot of the parts that don't work?

Most of the examples that you find in LabVIEW is valid for NXT and ev3, so for example go to

LabVIEW > examples > Modules and Toolkits > Robotics NXT > display > Simple Display.vi

and it is executed, when your EV3 is connected to your computer by USB. It simply must start.

    Cheers, Niko

  • I have a Leica LR but my creative cloud annual subscription has expired, my Lightroom my LR library for 2015 and beyond now has a question mark and I can't open pictures

I have a subscription valid and active Leica camera.

How can I get Adobe to recognize? My creative cloud has expired. I'm frozen out of my photo library

Using the redemption code Leica I downloaded successfully updated day to day LR 6 but my LR library for 2015 and beyond now has a question mark, and I can't open the images.

    Any suggestions?

Is this something that Adobe has to rectify?

    Thank you

    John

The question mark has nothing to do with your subscription at the end. The question mark on your records indicates that Lightroom cannot find the photos, because they have been moved or renamed, or delete outside of Lightroom. The instructions to fix it are: Adobe Lightroom - find folders and files moved or missing
