lack jsd.dll popup on several icons on my desktop

Your message was incorrectly posted feedback forum.  I moved it to the windows 'Repair and recovery' forum where it is on the subject.  Quote your version of Windows by asking a question.

JSD.dll is most often associated with Yahoo Widgets or Yahoo Instant Messenger.  If you have one of these programs installed, try to repair the application of the programs of the control panel applet.

When printing in a specific application (Isuite) lack msvbvm60.dll rises and crashes IE.

I think that this application uses VB, I've already replaced the dll via a MS tool after you rename the

current with a - old after him. Restarted to make the new dll to take effect. This happens on some, but

not all of the machines and is machine specific, not specific to the application user.

Thinking as it can be modal window, but I expect all the machines to have if it was the

  • Select several icons to remove from the desktop computer

On my desktop computer Windows XP, if I press and hold the Ctrl key so that I can select several icons that I want to drag to the trash, after choosing 3 or 4 it suddenly makes copies of all. I don't want that to happen. What I am doing wrong?

You move the mouse slightly. This problem occurs usually because the hand is not quite as stable as you would like. You move the files/objects slightly when you drag and creating additional copies. Try lowering the sensitivity of your mouse in Control Panel > mouse applet.

  • need names of .dll files that contain icons

I have win7 Home premium. I'm looking to change an icon for one of my pieces of freeware. Philippe, when I go through the process of 'change icon' I get only one choice, which is the icon even in use. I used to have a couple of files .dll residues many icons, but I lost them. "I used GOOGLE to find something on the files .dll holding icons and encuntered a suggestion that many files in C:\WINDOWS\System32 .dll ' are containers for icons. This turns out be a useless response. When I navigate to a .dll file (there are many of them) with the "change icon" shows, I get a msg of error indicating that the file in question contains no icons. Can someone provide a list of the .dll files that contain icons actually?

    The only other would Netshell.dll

Not sure if that's what you're looking for.

  • Kensington Trackballworks sometimes has several icons in the tray system, exposed behavior, it is as if one or more mouse buttons are kept pressed when they are in fact not to be affected

Original title: Kensington Trackballworks sometimes has several icons in the system tray

Every so often from the start (no apparent reason) multiple Kensington TrackallWorks icons appear in the system tray and the unit behaves erratically until all but one of them are closed. Behavior exhibited, it is as if one or more mouse buttons are kept pressed when they are in fact not to be affected. I use a Kensington Expert Mouse and TrackballWorks 1.04 K64325 model number. Uninstall and reinstall the driver didn't help, or does uninstalling and reinstalling Windows.

I checked with MSCONFIG, Autoruns and even when several copies work they show only one entry for the application. Any ideas /.

    Hello

Since you've already tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver/windows, this could be a hardware problem. Please try to contact the manufacturer of the mouse for assistance on this issue.

  • How to get an icon on the Desktop Web. I have windows 7 and 8 on different computers.

I asked this question repeatedly in stores and friends and tells me that it is possible by clicking on the web address, however, it would seem that Firefox does not happen because I was only able to do so far. I used to be able to do it on Xp but now find it impossible. I use this facility to allow me to access a web page immediately instead of having to go through the search or a bookmark. I'm having the same problem with windows 8 on a different machine.
    Any help would be appreciated.

There are several way to do.

    • 1 hold down the left mouse on the icon in the address bar, and then move the icon on your desktop and let go.
    • 2 deskCut {web link}
This extension adds creation of shortcut on the desktop in the menu popup-Windows, Linux and Mac.
  • Manage/delete several unused external monitors desktops

Hi - I have a MBP of 2015 (OS X 10.10.5) with an external monitor to 2412 M Dell. When I'm at home, I use the external monitor as my main screen. It works fine now, but it took me a while to find the right driver to make the display works reliably. I mention this because I think I'm done with an additional office for each time I tried to connect another monitor.

If I have two fingers dragging left/right, I have what looks like 5 different offices (changes background each time, but all my icons are identical) with an additional office on the MBP screen (which is understandable, I can't drag to). This only happens when the focus is on the external monitor (i.e. I can't use the built-in monitor and drag between workstations, even if the external monitor is attached)

I guess that each of these workstations were created when I tried different cables to get the monitor to work (many did not work at all, we worked with occasional outages and glitches, then I finally bought a Belkin DVI - D Apple cable which works perfectly)

Although all icons are duplicated on each of these desktop computers I can open different applications in each office and slip between them, so that each office has to behave independently.

Is it possible to remove these workstations, or is it a feature expected?

Several desktop computers is a feature that can basically triggered several ways. If you press the F3 key you will rely on desktops and on the top of the screen, you will see all the desktops. Move your cursor to the top in one of these small desktop computers, then click to go to this office. Or, move your cursor to the top in the small icon on the desktop and an X appears in the upper left corner of it. Click the X to remove the desktop computer.

Additional workstations are practical because you can force specific programs to launch their windows in this office only. This allows me, for example, have only the email App appear in a single window, in a second browser, MS Office Apps in a third. It keeps my cleaner work environment because I tend to have 5 to 8 programs running at the same time. OTOH, my wife hates and is never more than a desktop computer.

  • Now the icons on the desktop in place between users

I often have to change the screen resolution to test a web design to make sure that it works on multiple monitors.  After getting tired of having my random distributed desktop icons whenever I did, I created a new user and connected to this user to change my resolution.

Imagine my surprise when rear connection my name to user-res usual to find my random icons anyway.

Is there a solution to this unfortunate?

    Thank you
    Dave Dave

    Dave,

This is because the setting of the desktop resolution is by computer. One system affects all user accounts.

To work around the problem, you can use one of these tools available to backup/restore the desktop icons.

DeskSave - save and restore the position of the icons on your desktop:

  • Problem of icons on the desktop with Windows 7

    The evening

The icons on my desktop constantly changing arrangement. This seems to be a flaw in Windows 7 I saw several other posts on various forums all relate to the same question...

My first thought was to contact MS and ask about this, but this idea was quickly put end when I discovered that they would charge me for this match (Yes, even it was involving an operating system 'fault' instead of asking me generic technical support!)

Any ideas on a fix people? This bug is extremely irritating (for not to mention affecting a great many users!)

    See you soon!

    Brian,

    Check here:

    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

If the value doesn't exist or the value 0 and the problem persists, you can try to create a new user account and see if it works fine there.

I can't find the FF in 10 Windows anywhere... I downloaded, refreshed, etc... but no visible icon on the desktop, the icon taskbar, dosen't show at "all apps".

See if there is a Mozilla Firefox directory in C:\Program Files (x 86). If so and there are files in this directory, you should be able to reinstall Firefox without losing your preferences.

Also, you should be able to run it by typing "Firefox" at a DOS command prompt. If it is running, then just create icons yourself.
