• iOS10: two changes in the App music Bad

  I have a 6 and recently upgraded iPhone updated to iOS10. IMessage changes are fun, but I wish that I never changed.

  I have a fairly large music library (more than 2,000 songs) and a large part of my time in-app music. There are two changes in this version of iOS who really made the worst experience for me:

  1 music forget how I want to sort my music library: for example, I like sorting my music by "artist". Music used to remember and kept this sort, even if I closed the application. Now, I must again specify the sort I prefer every time that I re - open the app.

  2. no option to sort the albums in chronological order: now when I choose an artist, all of their albums are sorted alphabetically. I'm all for the OPTION sort by reverse chronogical order more, but why remove the ability to sort chronologically?   The music app does not support playback of CD audio.  To read your CD, you can use Windows Media Player.

  You can also use Windows Media Player to rip or copy the music from the CD to your hard drive and then play them in the application music.  You can find the steps to rip a CD here.

  I do not understand why Apple have passed their music app when they are competing with major players such as Spotify etc.

  If you are unable to open the music app on your iPhone, the first thing that I would recommend would be to force close the app (by double-clicking the Home button and drag upward on the application of music), and then restart your iPhone.

  My library of music with thousands songs sorted in rated playlists is useless now (and my iPhone too), :-(

  I have red tips on the side for use with Siri, but you can't do sitting on the bus or train...

  Someone who knows why apple removed the rating feature in the music app, and if they put it back?

• Hide the * other * family sharing iCloud in-app music iOS purchases?

• Playing albums in-App music with voice commands

  When I try to play music an album by voice command using the app on iOS, it does not play in the order of the pieces and mixture is automatically regardless of whether or not the shuffle off. Is it possible to play an album by voice command (or Siri) while using the order of the pieces?

  Issue seems to have been fixed - it may have been something to do with the songs "side" have to complete to reset the app - deleted manually while songs were still did not work.

  I have over 500 GB of music on my Mac, so I create a playlist for the songs I want to sync my iPhone. Yet when I look at my phone, there are many songs that are not in sync would be playlist. They cannot be read unless the phone is connected to my wifi at home, but I don't want them cluttering up my phone and makes it almost impossible to find the tracks I want to listen to.

  If you go to the library of the screen and press the red text just below the icons of the album/playlist (where you select whether you want the screen to show the view of the artist/Album/songs downstairs there is a toggle to only show that downloaded music.) If you enable this, then only the songs that are actually ON your iPhone will be in BLACK characters. The rest of your music library to iCloud either won't display at all or be grey. Now - if you have a few streaming, you can see more songs, because the songs that are heard are cached in the memory of the iPhone box and supposedly deleted automatically when it fills up (but not user accessible unless you use some third-party programs).

  What you can do - so they need WiFi or data cell-, it's make a playlist in iTunes that you want on your iPhone. Then (assuming that Apple music and iCloud music library are running on both), you can go to the playlist and press the small cloud/down arrow icon and download these tracks on your iPhone. Then, you can play these songs without access to wifi or cell phone.

  • Respect to GarageBand, try opening the Mac App Store, go to 'Purchases' and download GarageBand. If your Mac came with a DVD or GarageBand is not there, use the disk to install Applications to install GarageBand.
  • Respect to other applications, you can restore a backup Time Machine, you did before moving to OS X with The Migration Wizard, and it will allow you to restore these apps. However, I suggest you to install from the DVD manually again, so you'll have a much cleaner operating system.
