Lack of flv SOUL 2014

Hello

I tried to import my CC 13 presets, but somehow flv is missing from the codec and my presets cannot be imported. If it has been deleted?

It seems that queuing sequences of Premiere Pro to SOUL via Ctrl + M is forever broken because creating to hang and hang on the dialog "export media. This has been broken for several months. I talked to developers with no resolution to this. For this reason, I now can only export projects by dragging footage on to SOUL first. It worked fine until a few days ago.

What happens now is that SOUL gets partially thanks to encode a video and then hangs and fails encoding. I get the super useful

I tried to make the clip where SOUL fails using a different AVI container, but he eventually fail in the same place.

    Adobe Media Encoder (AME)

I tried a reinstall of PP and SOUL, move all the items of assets to another machine and encoding, activation and deactivation "Import sees natively" in the SOUL, the activation and deactivation of mercury in PP and SOUL, and I got the same result. SOUL fails encoding with an error "film compilation error. Same result when I tried to export from PP.

The only thing that has worked has been made all the clips I created EI using a different codec (was MOV JPEG and I have a new Lagarith AVI rendering). It seemed to work. When it would fail in SOUL he would hang a frame for several minutes before giving me the sound of sheep. Clips from MOV JPEG original of the PP has played very well in the sequences and multimedia players. No drama, no glitches.

Don't know why wan't SOUL update sequences of PP. The fix for this was the launch of SOUL with Shift key to clear preferences. Also I made sure I saved pp until I dragged more than SOUL for encoding.

I hope this will help someone else along their journey. Thanks for the research!

  • New installation SOUL 2014 - can not "Tail" of first of SOUL

I just installed new applications of 2014 today.  Whenever I try to export media by sending SOUL it never do here. The launch of the app, but the work never show up in the queue. This process has worked well for me with the CC first/SOUL apps up to this new facility. Also, if I queue a file when checking "Match sequence settings", it works as expected. And if I export directly the first export settings dialog, it works very well for custom (such as quicktime/h.264) settings. But I can't do it with SOUL.

Don't know if it's an installation problem or related to the permissions problem I had when first installing (had to change the permission settings in the folder Application Support/Adobe.

Please help if you can. Thank you.

In addition, a phone call from tech support did the trick. The person on the phone had me remove the old prefs folder and start with a completely new. Who did the trick. He said that it was probably a problem with the dynamic link manager and permissions.

    Hi all

I am facing a problem of rendering of dpx to h264 mp4.the original source is a 2 k range dpx RGB files using legacy 2014.2.0 we are aligning the sequence and affecting composition HD1080 24 and 16 bit depth of color in the project setting. Addition of transforn 1920 x 816 scale and sending it to SOUL for the rendering queue

SOUL 2014.2.0 has the following setting and export of video only

width height 1920 x 1080, rate = 24, order frames = progressive, aspect = square pixel, profile = high, level = 5.2, at maximum depth, bitrate = VBR, 2 pass, target bit rate = 10 Mbps maximum = 15mbps, keyframe distance = 120, because the source material is 24

Yet it is the production of artifact and the mp4 video quality is not uniform looked on the net and google found their some kind of compromise in SOUL adjusted keyframe the result has still blocks artfacats

How can I sort this issue any help or suggestion of the forum/support is greatly appreciated

BTW, my machine config is processor intel xeon 4-core with 8 GB ram 1 TB hard drive

    Hi Lokesh,

Maybe it's a known issue. Try the following solution: use the CBR or VBR 1 passes instead of 2-pass encoding.

  • SOUL CC renders progressive (non-interlaced) AE projects

    Hi people,

We have updated CC 2014.2 last week and are now blocked without fields - and as a broadcaster broadcasting we desperately need to 1080i interlaced files!

    Here´s details:

For a fast template, I created a simple project of EI (CS6) with a blue bar around the Center.

This same composition is open in CS6 and TEA 2014.2 SOUL and made with identical settings:

    Bildschirmfoto 2015-01-28 um 16.12.55.png

It is the result of the CS6 SOUL:

    Bildschirmfoto 2015-01-28 um 16.13.49.png

This is the result of the SOUL CC 2014.2

    Bildschirmfoto 2015-01-28 um 16.14.00.png

During the last week, we did everything we could to convince SOUL 2014.2 to make fields - but we didn t succeed...

    The only solution is:

    1. Open the AE composition in PremierePro
    2. interpret as "upper field".
    3. Place it in a sequence
    4. Send this sequence to the SOUL

    Then SOUL makes interlaced...

    Note Please

    • I m not talking videomaterial interlaced or progressive but on field of animations AE handling himself in the SOUL
    • under "What / Source ' he said 'progressive', but you can´t change the interpretation on an AE composition
    • in SOUL CS6 this said "progressive" as well but that makes the fields
    • We tried with several different projects and compositions on different computers (PC and Mac)
    • scary: with rendering the same sources same parameters produced different files in SOUL CS6 vs SOUL 2014.2
    • It s not only the thing of field / progressive - 2014.2 SOUL mp4 files are half size of SOUL CS6

Thanks for your help - we really need our back fields... ;-)

    Best regards

    Andreas Schletter

    Germany

I just ran a test and here is what I found.

Rendering of CC 2014 using the tail to return and separating the fields in the project panel give you an interleaved file. Rendering of the SOUL and by using h.264 you do not get a result interlaced, even if you check the box of the separate fields. I have also tried Jpeg2000 quicktime of TEA with the same result... none made progressive. I even tried to double the pace in the SOUL, once again no progressive rendering. The only way to get a progressive rendering in the latest version of the SOUL is by setting the frame rate of comp in AE to double the standard frame rate. In your example 50 frames per second.

Here's how I test for interlacing.

If the video is interlaced so there are different positions for your blue bar for each frame if you drag your film progressive in the new comp window, check that the model is the same rate as the frames (25 fps in your example) and that AE correctly interprets the images, and then double-click the rate of comp. If you ride in a model at a time, and each picture is different then you have interlaced images but it is interlaced without scanning empty lines. After effects has tried to fill these scanning lines as long as I can remember.

Looks like it's a bug. I'll file a report and suggest you do the same thing. In the meantime, if you use the TEA to render deliverables then the solution is to double the pace in the model before you add it to the queue.

  • SOUL really takes a long time to open the encoding settings

With the release of the SOUL 2014 versions, I've known wait times very long to open the encoding of employment settings. For example, if I add a sequence of images 1920 x 1080 to the encoder, choose Quicktime as the container and one of the available codecs, by clicking on the name of the codec to open its settings causes a very long delay, maybe 3 minutes, before the dialog box opens. I use a Macbook Pro with Yosemite. Previous versions before 2014 version has never had this problem. Is this a known issue?

    THX

It is a known problem with SOUL running on Yosemite. We are working with Apple on the issue and hope it will be fixed in a next OS update.

  • Presets CC import is not 2014 CC

    Hey everybody,

I just install Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014 and I want to import all the custom presets I made with the CC version.

I exported all of CC, but it seems that I'm not able to import into CC 2014.

As he tried, I get this error:

    adobeMediaEncoderCC2014_error.jpg

It translates as "Impossible to import the default preset. He has not found any module export for the default preset. »

What should I do so that it import them?

    Thank you in advance!

    Andrea

I see that your preset is for F4V.  Us no longer support export to F4V and FLV in 2014. of CC.

Please use CC for F4V/FLV Encoder version.  CC and CC version 2014 can coexist. You can use both versions at the same time.

  • SOUL is only using a core of treatment on six.

I was not able to understand why SOUL uses one of the six processing cores I have in my Core i7 hex core processor.  I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and the most recent version of the SOUL 2014 CC.  When I go in first Pro CC 2014 all hearts are used.  The codec I use in the SOUL is 'YouTube 480 P 29.97 - H.264 SD'.  Video that is encoded is quite complex, but it's only a 30-minute long SOUL is the estimated 18 hours until the end.  That seems pretty excessive for the length of the video.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This post on the forum may be related to your question.

Re: SOUL CC2014 very slow for encoding

  • Really there 22 hours for SOUL to transcode 1 hour of ProRes apcn for presetting of YouTube?

My question is, "it will always take this long?

If you have not already verified my information system to it, I'm at the end of a 6 years old HP 8400.  I (finally) got the OK to acquire a new system.  I know that this new system (http://www.pugetsystems.com/saveconfig.php?id=111597) will improve 'timeline' speed and preview of After Effects & rendering and must export most of the CODECs much faster, I'm concerned about the work of transcoding straight I do in the SOUL.  More precisely ProRes to something else.

The company for which I work steps and produces a lot of live corporate events.  I create content for the event, then the handle whatever the client wants done with recorded images later.  Sometimes, it's the complete boat and sometimes it's just for them to share internally and on its Web site.  Whatever it is, generally the first thing they want is to just see the images.  So, regardless of what would later become images, I have run through the SOUL and turn it into H.264 using YouTube friendly preset.

Currently, on my aging machine, SOUL uses only about 30% of my 8 cores.  Only 7-8 GB of my 20GB of ram and, of course, 0% of my GTX285.  So, should I assume that lack of CODEC, SOUL will take much longer to transcode on a machine with twice the kernels (including higher clock speeds) and 3 times the ram?  Will be just use even less of the system and even to last 22 hours?  I see at least a reduction in time in the transition from DDR - 2 DDR-3 and other benefits of latency lower current material?

I was going to include the "MediaInfo" for the source and the final files as well as the newspaper of the SOUL and some other info, but since I have this done already a wall of text, stay until what someone needs to answer my question.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jason

BTW - I've been using Adobe products since the middle of the 1990s (4.0 first, After Effects "Melmet") and I've been lurking here and scraping info from all of you there are at least 2 Forums this is my first post in the forum "new".

    Hi Jason,

How can I put things in perspective for you? Looks like you don't know what to expect, which is understandable when you use really old hardware. And what first version are you running?

Computer technology comes from leaps and bounds in recent years, nothing short of amazing! From CS5, first now uses the GPU (graphics card) to provide acceleration of mounting hardware and effects, using the Mercury playback engine. The maximum permissible error can operate on CPU only, but it makes a world of difference when using GPU hardware as well. Of course the software and the OS are 64-bit now, which really helps, especially with the large amount of RAM allowed.

Years, it was almost mandatory to get a machine with two processors for editing. Core i7 quad-core machines today essentially have 4 processors on a single chip, it's like having more than one processor. "Multithreading" there, so 4 hearts resemble 8 cores for the software.

So, basically, any recent Core i7 machine will do a great job of editing and export of images HD of first CS6. Many effects, titles, superposition and scaling of the video all is possible without a red bar! I stacked 15 or 20 layers of 1080i AVCHD once, make several PIPs on the screen, and it played smoothly without a framework.

If you work mainly with the first and yet, then a machine 4-core or 6-core i7 will make most very happy publishers. If After Effects is a big part of your flow of work, and/or 3D animation, where a double-XEON machine can make a difference. Really well, first, you would see little difference. Time is in real time, a machine 11 k $ is not do it faster.

On a machine nice i7 costs $3-5 k, you should expect to export H.264 in real time or better. With a DV film, goes to the MPEG-2 DVD format, a timeline of two hours can be exported in unnder 10 minutes. Seriously. The audio .wav a timeline of two hours? Seconds for export.

Puget is a company respected using gear nice and if you feel the need to 'the best of the best' and have the budget to save it, this system of 11 k $ will certainly rock. We are also an Adobe Certified System Integrator and is happy to consult and provide the price of comparison as well.

  • Media encode and AE

As Media encode installs with AE I have therefore 2 versions of this imstalled.  I only use AE 2014 but I use SOUL 2015.   I just uninstall 2015 AE leaving only AE 2014 on my machine.  So can I uninstall SOUL 2014 and just stick 2015?

I wonder because they live together, so I think maybe that they must coexist or something stupid like that.

  • Still no solution for the export of chapter in H.264 Blu - ray for import again error markers

Why this fix did not place in the recent update of the ORGANIZATION 2014.2?

I always get the error in yet that I can import the movie with chapter markers.

Is still what it means that we can no more use for authoring DVDs or Blurays?

Really don't like the deletion of the reference to chapter file to do this.

The bug seems fixed for me.

First of all, I've updated only SOUL 2014.2. I exported directly from PR 20141 and, as expected, the xmpses file is incorrect and import failed in yet. Export using the queue (and thus clearly the SOUL), export shows a xmpses file has been corrected and importation to works again.

Then I updated to PR to 2014.2. Now, direct exports of the PR also works.

I don't have test PR update and no SOUL, and which could be a different result.

What are your versions of PR and SOUL?

Edit: could not resist. Restored SOUL 20141 with the PR yet updated to 2014.2. Direct export of the PR work.

  • New computer - slow encoding!

I received a new computer Saturday and had hoped to see a difference in time of coding, but so far, it seems pretty much the same. Specs are: Windows 8.1 (64), 32 GB of RAM, i7 4770 3.5 GHz, GeForce GTX760 (not support CUDA), 120 GB SSD for the OS and Adobe and Adobe CC 2014. I have 4 video that I shot in 1080 p 29.97 FPS and exports even a minute. Only the effects are stabilising Warp and a few effects Lumetri looks like. All have been made. SOUL 2014 took about 45 minutes to export. I checked the memory settings, and the 32 GB 27 GB is used by first, SOUL, etc. and has been optimized for performance. My old computer had supported CUDA, and it does not - that's the main difference? However, the rendering in the first time is much faster. Have I not some bad settings that slow down the speed of export?

With CS6, there is workaround to get the first to use the GTX cards for hardware acceleration. My understanding is that CC will automatically use capable cards... maybe you need to change the supported cards text file?

But anyway, stabilizing Warp takes forever to render, and color looks plug-ins are also known to take some time. If you want to do any type of reference between the old and the new computer, encode a raw video without effects. It really takes real-time or faster to encode a video in H.264 format on this machine.

  • How to change the constant variable rate?

    Hello

I export an HDV mpeg file that has a constant rate of a video H264 (.mp4) video for download on a web-based video player. I actually use the preset in Media Encoder 'YouTube HD 720 p 29.97'.

The web interface of video online that I use requires a constant rate. But when you look at the video in MediaInfo it shows the video file as a variable rate. After looking through the settings in Media Encoder I found no option to fix this.  I see where you can change the frame rate and it is 29.97. So you might think, it would be constant but is not. And there is not any settings, I see, to change the constant variable. I don't see the flow settings, but this isn't the issue.

I also have Apple Compressor and making a successful rate constant, but if possible I prefer to use Adobe Media Encoder. If anyone knows how to change this setting? Thank you

    Hi CLCTV,

To close this thread, interpreted as variable rate exports are now interpreted as constant in the CC SOUL 2014 (8,0) and later. Please create a new thread if you are still having trouble with this problem.

    Thank you

  • Flash video is not displayed online

    Hello

    Flash CS4 Pro

I created a Flash video, that when previewing locally works fine, but then I download the files to the Web server, then nothing appears, I see only a white area where the Flash video should have been (no broken image icon, see the attached jpg file it showed a white area where the video is supposed to appear).

These are the files I uploaded to the server:

    • test.html (the html file containing the tag for the video display)
    • test.fla
    • test.swf

I have attached the 2 files in this post and the jpg file and the html file,

any ideas why the video is not displayed?

It's a bit strange that it would work on Firefox and not IE for XP box.  The only case that I heard about what's going was creating too many connections http to a web server running on XP.  Apparently, we continued running in the maximum number of connections allows and videos have been does not load for some people but work for others.  The solution was to move to a true win2k3 server operating system that you are trying to do.

I always have to ask, have you checked the authorized time MIME on the IIS server on win2k3?  I saw the default installations servable lack the flv and f4v files as files extensions.

    This is why I asked:

    http://goingspare.WordPress.com/2006/10/06/Flash-video-files-and-IIS/

What happens if you go directly to the url of one of the videos in a browser?  It should not play it straight, but what do you get?
