  We will first check if the system restore services are set to automatic and started. To do this, follow these steps.

  Seems to me that if I try to save any video or Zip files for example then it is simply not possible as long as its "compressed file format" - what's the point of backup if I can't save video!  -Certainly, it is not correct or I read wrong?

  I also use Windows 7 64 bit and usually like it, but left speechless for a while with this same problem of backup. Apparently analytical points are associated with, or related to the safeguarding in a certain way, the restore points. I moved the files to a new physical disk and the partition I have installed recently. The moved file backups were fails with the error 0 x 81000037. I followed these steps and was able to get a successful backup.

  1. open Windows Explorer and right-click on the drive letter where are stored the files that cannot be backed up. Click on properties.

  2. based on the general tab, click "Disk Cleanup".

  3. in the disk cleanup window, open the other Options tab.

  4. in the section system restore and shadow copies, click on "clean...". »

  Another option would be to replace the 0 by NaN, this would produce a gap in the screen that would communicate that lacked a data point.

  I did all the steps in this entire thread and no solution (good ideas, but no solution). I believe that this error message "the file contains a virus' on all downloads came from a virus on a web page (this is what I saw in my case).  When IE downloads a file, it shows he has a virus, but it's really not analyzed.  I got this message even after I've completely removed McAfee and after I reinstalled completely IE10.  It's a redirect using the points of analysis that the virus must have created.    To resolve this problem, I went to C:\ and made a random generator DIR command  He showed c:\program files\windows defender had these reparse points.  When I looked for download the latest Windows Defender, says MSFT site is no longer used on Windows 7 64 bit so I deleted the subdirectory 'C:\program files\Windows Defender' and all of its subfolders and restarted.  Problem disappeared.  McAfee and MSFT Security Essentials scans do not have that automatically remove.  Hope that helps.

  The attribute 'P' indicates that a file is a reparse point .  The application that creates the file sets the attribute, which indicates that it has added additional information to the entry in the file directory to be used for the opening and reading of the file.

  I don't know if the atrribute created Windows Photo Viewer, or if your NAS or USB drive is faulty and badly affecting the attribute.  The same thing happens if you use Windows Photo Viewer to store a file on the C: drive?  The same thing happens if you use another program to store a file on the USB key?

  You may be able to learn more using the command fsutil reparsepoint query in a high command prompt window.
