  • Problems related to the evolution of the language of non-Unicode programs

    Hello world!

    Product name: HP Pavilion dv6-6093ex

    Product number : LM610EA #A2N.

My 7(464Bit) Windows Ultimate and its base language, and the language is English.

The built-in languages (English, French and Arabic) (re-uploaded and re-installed came by the person making the installation of Windows disk). So, during the installation of Windows 7, these three language listed for me to choose one of them to be the base language and display the language, I choose 'English'. At the end of the installation, there are pre-packaged trilingual (French, English and Arabic) can be used as a display language.

I wish a good want to confirm for me why I was confronted with these problems when changing the language for non-Unicode from English to Arabic programs.

First: After I installed the AMD graphics driver high definition (sp55092) 8.882.2.3000 on my laptop. The content of the of Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel are partially shown in Arabic while the language of the non-Unicode programs is Arab, however, they appear completely in English and the language of the non-Unicode programs is English.

A: I found that content from the Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel are displayed partially in Arabic second screenshot below, however, when click on options, for example "graphic properties" in Arabic, the second window appears in English) while the language of the non-Unicode programs is Arabic, and it doesn't matter what format or location is.

B - when I changed the language for non-Unicode programs in English.

I found that content from the Intel graphics card and the media control panel is completely displayed in English.

    Second:

Has- single Arab all content will be posted encryptely while the language of the non-Unicode programs is English

B- all Arab content displayed correctly in language for programs no Unicode is Arabic.

Third: an error extraction of the drivers and the software downloaded from the official website of HP while the language of the non-Unicode programs is English.

A-  I noticed an error extracting all kinds of compound files (drivers and software) downloaded from the HP Web site, while the language of the non-Unicode programs is English and some location and format are:

B- While the language of the non-Unicode programs is Arabic, however there is no mistake in the extraction of files.

In conclusion, is it normal for you all the content of the of Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel partially appear in your native language for non-Unicode programs is your native lanague, however, they appear completely in English and the language of the non-Unicode programs is English?.  IF so I would say that if I wanted the content of the documents in my Arabic language to be displayed correctly, and then I need the language for non-Unicode programs be Arabic. Is what is happening with you so?

Also, if I need to extract all kinds of compound files (drivers and software) downloaded from the HP website, then language for non-Unicode programs needs to be in my English Arab lanague and some location and format are. Is what happened with you so?

I'd appreciate strongly any clarification on your part.

    Cooperator salvation,

I saw your post about language issues, and I'll be happy to help you. What you are experience with languages is normal. The base operating system is in English, and while you can change the display language at the heart of the core of the operating system would be in English.

The reason why the Intel graphics and Media Control Panel is in English and the rest in Arabic because the driver would have been designed in English and is coded in the driver, but the display language is set to Arabic hard. Thus, when the language is set to English everything will be in English.

You have issues pilots extraction when you attached to the language English is because the HP site will determine where in the world you and when you download the driver it will be the language appropriate to the country, you are. So when he extracted it will look appropriate with the help of Arabic extraction path but everything is in English. It worked without problem when you're in Arabic because the driver can read the path correctly.

  • BlackBerry smartphones is supported for the East Asian languages for the Blackberry Bold 9780 on O2?

Hello, I hope someone can help me with my problem. I'm new to the whole Blackberry I just bought my first BB camera a few days ago so please understand if I don't know what words are in the world of Blackberry. The questions will be in bold.

So, I recently bought a Blackberry Bold 9780 and I am very satisfied with the overall product. However I was wondering if there was support for the East Asian languages (Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc) for my 9780 BB which is on O2 UK.

Right now, in my languages options, I can only entry for most European languages (English, Spanish, French, etc.) There are no options for languages of East Asia at all. When I try to display all messages or go on the browser which are languages of East Asia, I don't see one set of black boxes.

I know there are software updates to update your device to take charge of specific languages, so I checked the software downloads page that interests me.

O2 - UK users, they have two packages:

-BlackBerry Handheld Software v6.0.0.905 (all languages)

    Package Version: 6.0.0.905
    Composed of:

    • Applications: 6.0.0.294
    • Software platform: 6.5.0.54
    • File name: 9780AllLang_PBr6.0.0_rel905_PL6.5.0.54_A6.0.0.294_O2_UK.exe
    • File size: 180,72 MB

    -BlackBerry Handheld Software v6.0.0.0905 (Multilingual)

    Package Version: 6.0.0.905
    Composed of:

    • Applications: 6.0.0.294
    • Software platform: 6.5.0.54
    • File name: 9780jAllLang_PBr6.0.0_rel905_PL6.5.0.54_A6.0.0.294_O2_UK.exe
    • File size: 185,61 MB

Then How do I know which package I currently installed on my device because the application number and the number of software are identical.

On my device it details shows: v6.0.0.294, (905 Bundle, platform 6.5.0.54)

So I wonder if none of the above two packages have the option to enable East Asian language support.

I'm sure I have the latest update for my camera that I can't update more far depending on the desktop software and my phone. So If I move to another package, how do I go to do?

I mainly use a MAC, but I can also have access to a PC too. I don't know if it's important, but I think that there is a difference between the Desktop software on each computer that is used to update your software.

If possible, it is that I would be able to download another package that has the support of another service provider East Asia and update on my own? Or is it too risky because it may crash my machine?

And my last question, so it is likely that O2 can do in the near future if there is no option for the language support East Asia now,?

Sorry if I rambled on a bit too much or too many questions. I just want to know if its possible to enable language support is now, otherwise I will waste countless hours looking for a method. I looked to see if there were similar questions, asked the Board of Directors, but none was really specific to my needs.

A big thank you to everyone who sits reading through this. I appreciate the responses.

    Thank you.

Do not know if you understand how to do this, but I did these steps and it worked fine:

    1. https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=7D2A383E54274888B4B73B97E1AAA491&dl=... go here and download the version of v6.0.0.0905 (Multilingual) BlackBerry Handheld Software.

2 install the downloaded OS on your computer, you need the files of this new OS more later to add multi language support for your BlackBerry device.
    C:\Program Files\Common search in Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9780AllLang_v6.0.0.294_P6.5.0.54
The CJK.alx is the file that you will use later.

    3. use Desktop Manager to save your BlackBerry (better safe than sorry)

    4. before installation, go to your AppLoader folder, for example C:\Program Files Research In Motion\AppLoader and move the Vendor.xml to a backup directory, if you have kept a copy of the file. The loader.exe allows to load up the AppLoader, follow the instructions in the wizard.

He automatically gave me a list of applications and languages, if you scroll down see you East Asian languages check those you want that I checked Japanese and Thai language and font support. If you do not see these click on 'Add' at the top and navigate to the CJK.alx file.

So let the application loader it's thing, after that everything should work.

Hope this works for you also. I take no responsibility of bricking your phone.

BlackBerry should be an option to install more languages via the phone.

  • Change the language on the A40

    Hello

I bought a laptop (A40) last summer, which reduced to chips with publishing Danish Windows XP Home. So it is not a problem, as I speak Danish, but my friends who also use my laptop are not, and so I would like to change the language. I am aware that this is not possible in the home edition, but is it possible if I switch to Professional edition, and if yes, do go to the Danish version and then change the language - or can I actually go to the English version in direct?

I'm not too keen on reinstalling my computer from scratch with a clean boot: I want to keep and use the additional functionality provided by Toshiba, so I really want to upgrade!

Go to HP.com, click on Support, download the drivers.  Put in Z420 in the product name, then select the workstation Z420.   This will bring up the page drivers.  Select the version of your operating system.  (This is the usual place to find drivers)

Under "Software - management system" down load the utility BIOS Configuration (BCU) (International).  This tool will create a text dump of your BIOS settings file.  We can change this file, and then use the changed file to update the BIOS settings.

In this file, there is a section for the "install language", with several languages listed below.  The language with the * in front of it is the one that is turned on.  In your case, remove it * before French and add it * before English.  Then follow the instructions on how to use this file to update your BIOS settings.

Can someone help me to do?

I assume that you have not configured the settings for the external keyboard.
In Android settings: language and entrance you need to find the option to set up the input method

Downstairs, you will get the option for physical keyboards.
Him that you have to touch the Bluetooth keyboard. Then you should be able to choose the keyboard configuration. Now select the language of the keyboard.

In the new window, you will find the advanced option
Here, you can also choose the layout for external keyboards

You just 'Add' a language. You would have to edit all applications to create strings of replacement for all menus, dialog messages, buttons, etc., that it doesn't translate from one language to the other. Each application has a list of strings mapped to the display string for each supported language. The localized string replaces the generic string in the user interface element.

You can try to contact Apple and volunteer to locate the operating system, they would have confidence in you (unlikely) or hire a person to validate your work.
