    Hey Buddy.

To access the cooling modules, the entire notebook must be dismantled. :(
It is a very delicate procedure because there are too many screws and parts that must be deleted.

I didn t find any disassembly manual for download on the European driver Toshiba page I guess that these documents are accessible to technicians only, so I wouldn't recommend trying to disassemble the laptop without having such guides.

Are you sure that your cooling module is broken? Maybe there is some dust and debris that affect cooling fan feature use air compressed a jet that helps eliminate the dust in my case it helped

    Hi, Rick:

It seems that the g7-1300 series manual would apply also to the yours... same hardware specification...

There is no manual related to the support page for your laptop, and the g7-1139 is for older hardware (1st generation core processors).

My new laptop 15-ab157nr of HP Pavilion fan has a moan that I don't remember having on my old laptop HP G62-340US.  It may be that I am just sensitive to noise on a new computer, but I was wondering if anyone else has this problem.

The BIOS update was scary to see, but it went well.  Its cooling fan may have changed a bit, and then maybe I'm getting used to the sound.  Thanks for your help!

  • Error number HP G62-105SA cooling fan 902

    I have a G62-105SA laptop for a few months.

My laptop stopped unexpectedly and a message saying that he was cut because he had been too hot. This seemed strange because he had been on about 30 minutes and was on a desk where the events were not blocked. However, it was very hot. I waited a few minutes, he turned back, and now there is an error message in the error message from the bios 902. It's the cooling fan.

I tried to download the update of the bios on the site of HP support for this model of laptop, installed using the windows key + B and a stick of memory, but the problem is still there.

This happens every time the laptop is turned on.

    What is the next step?

are just double check, you able to go to the Windows desktop?

If the BIOS installation continued does not solve the problem... you have to return the aircraft to service... as the error indicates that a fan is not working or it runs more slowly than needed sleep...

  • Laptop Pavilion g6 troubled cooling fan

My laptop (1c58dx g6) guard stop and gives me an error message on the cooling fan. The fan has completely stopped working or slowed down a lot. It's more as it comes up for a second and then stops completely for a few seconds again and again. I don't know if that's how the fans usually ruin if they are blocked or not. So, I spent all last night holding my cell phone out to join fan cooling to clean junk out of it and then put it back together again. It's not like there was there to cause problems, but I cleaned to the best of my ability without taking the fan itself out. However, it was without result. The same thing happens again. Do you think that if I took part the fan that I could find and remove the Junk incriminated in the fan, or do you think the problem is something else? If you disassemble the fan itself can help, could you tell me all instructions on remove and put back together, again please?

    Hello @BL00 ,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that you have some problems of fan and are wondering how to remove it for better cleaning.

Here is a guide who can guide you safely remove the fan: HP Pavilion G6 Notebook PC - Maintenance and Service of Guide. You will find the steps begin on page 77.

It might also help to go through this document, but it seems that you already have most of this: reduce the heat inside the PC to prevent overheating.

In fact, you need to replace the fan altogether. References are available in the guide above and you can find them among a wide range of online providers. If your laptop is still under warranty, you can also contact the HP support by phone for parts or service options. You can contact HP Technical Support at 1-800-474-6836 in North America. • Bad laptop cooling fans

Last year I had a cooling fan replaced because it was vibrations in the month of purchase of the laptop. It took two engineers, a bad part and 4 appointments to get something so simple replaced. It's all with the guarantee on the spot that was supposed to be good.

Then now, fans are vibrations again... it's not the dust or dirt or things like that, it's more along the lines of poor manufacturing. That the fans are spare parts that they will still fall under manufacturer's warranty, even if the laptop is not.

Given to work with service on the spot was such pain is worth bringing this place with Toshiba and sending them to fix the fan and the risk of never seeing my laptop or got my laptop back with more problems than he was expelled with a laptop (Toshiba previously managed to spoil the remote adapter and Toshiba declined a replacement without first taking my computer) laptop with no assurance that I would never get it back!) ?

Is there anyone out there who is happy with a laptop after having expelled to Toshiba?

I put t know which laptop model you have but I didn't notice anything on my Qosmio x 300. I have a year now and at the moment it works OK.
Cooling vents works well, maybe too good because they are a little stronger and it's the only thing I don't like about this laptop.

On the other side until I of good graphics performance for games I don't care about this because most of the time I use the gaming headset.
I'm really sorry to hear you have this kind of problems, but I put t think you can sey in general there is bad part or not. Somehow, I think that it is really unlucky.

Last week I ordered the new Blu - Ray player. After reading a lot of comments positive on this device, I realized that my device has an electrical problem and send it after just one week. No luck I think.

  • My laptop cooling fan no longer works

    Product number: D9H90PA #UUF

Dear HP: Yesterday night my laptop work perfect with fan cooling, but after that day, when I turn on my laptop it says "the system has detected that a cooling fan does not work correctly. Suite operation is not recommended at this time... may result in unpredictable behavior that may result closed random, loss of data or damage the system as possible. »

    Help, please!

    Dear customer,

Welcome to the Support Forum HP and we are happy to help you

Looks like you are having difficulties with regard to your laptop cooling fan

We will surely help you with this

According to the message that you posted, I suspect that this could be a hardware problem where in your message 'the system has detected that a cooling fan does not work properly' get. It is a mechanical failure and the cooling of your laptop fan might have to be replaced before the laptop starts with an overheating problem.

Note: I guess you should get error number 90 b ' "which confirms the hardware failure

    Causes/reasons for this problem:

    1. sometimes, it's just because of the dust, animal pet hair slows down the fan

Follow these steps to drain/release the static load of your laptop as shown below:

Step 01. You need to clean all vents and openings that are really good with a can of compressed air

Step 02. Please set the default BIOS

    and

Step 01. Turn off the laptop

Step 02. Disconnect the power/AC adapter and also remove the battery too

Step 03. Press and hold the power button on the laptop for a minute

Step 04. Test your laptop with battery and adapter only

Note: If you still get the same error, we need to replace the fan

Please see this link for more information

I highly recommend you Contact HP Support by phone for assistance to

    Fix and resolve the problem

  • My HP laptop cooling fan does not work.

Okay, so. I have a HP Pavilion 1145sg g6. It worked fine all morning, and then I put sleep temporarily (about ten to twenty minutes). When I went to turn it on, the screen was black and he said something along the lines of

"the system has detected that a cooling fan does not work correctly. Suite operation is not recommended at this time... may result in unpredictable behavior that may result closed random, loss of data or damage the system as possible. »

Then after a few seconds it stops completely. There is an option to continue with the summary of the system and I clicked once on it, but she didn't go through completely for allowing me to use my laptop properly (I arrived at my wallpaper and it stopped).

This has never happened before, and I never had any problem with my laptop, like this before. I have had him since last August, and it worked pretty well through until today. Of course, the system sometimes, accused but nothing serious, for the most part just aggravating.

    How can I fix?

Someone said here that they stung the fan with a hairpin and it started working. I took a toothpick and switched my laptop and tried to move the fan and the fan started WALLA on! I noticed that a lot of dust in there and that's probably the culprit first event hough I keep this laptop clean every day, this darn dust is sneaky and small. If you use a toothpick, make sure not to break anything especially the toothpick. last thing you want to do is cause more harm. Now that I think I don't remember when the last fan worked and if it wasn't for the message that popped up today I would not of the same notice I wasn't to hear the fan because last week I said "wow is not the substance of this portable super hot feeling", but I just thought that my fiance was simply playing games on the computer for too long and that's why he was hot. He never closes the computer off smh. in any case, I'm very happy I read this post of a person using the PIN to hair. That's what forums are all about. Help each other. I hope it works for you. Be gentle, try pushing the way fan propellers in clockwise. Use a flashlight to see if dust or anything like that is by the way to allow the fan to run its on.  I blew in the vents, but it did have almost all of the dust of the road.  All of these messages, it seems this is a common problem. Good luck

How old is your machine? It is under warranty?  Have you tried to use a can of compressed air in the opposite direction of the normal airflow with the machine?  What do you mean by not working not properly?  You have an error message? The temperature of your laptop is too high?
