  I just bought a new laptop of spectrum in the United States.

  I need travel in Australia for work. This portable US will be OK when plugged into power in Australia which has a different voltage (assuming I use a plug converter suitable).

  First of all I live in a city called Melbourne (Aystralia) right now and my laptop computer loan spectrum is the United States (office of HP in Utah) and Yes, all I need is a tourist adapter as shown above.

  Second performance I see no difference, please note: we use 240V in Australia and the charger will be doing the work to convert AC current DC to run the laptop.

  I would like to mention here: I've traveled around not less than 20 countries with some laptops (from time to time, not at once) and once again all I need is a universal travel adapter.

  I recently bought a laptop convertible spectrum HP 13-4193nr x 360, under Windows 10 Home. When I connect our printer (HP LaserJet P1102w in black and white laser printer) port USB to the laptop, Windows can see the printer and he knows his name correct ("HP LaserJet Professional P1102w"), but does know that the device is a printer. If I go to the Panel and then devices and printers, the printer is displayed in the "Devices" line (with the laptop and the mouse) and not the line 'printers '. If I select the printer entry in the "Devices" line, Windows displays the name of the exact model of the printer, but for the "Category" field, it indicates "optical drive".

  How can I tell Windows that this device is a printer and not an optical drive?

  I'd be happy to help you install your Laserjet P1102. I understand your description that the computer does not recognize the printer as the printer and instead identifies it as an optical drive. Even if you don't see one of the errors mentioned in the following document, I think that the solutions presented may help you find a solution: Printers HP - "device installation failed" or "unknown device" message during Installation USB (Windows).

• Computer portable spectrum x 360: How can I disable annoying light behind f5 key backlit on my laptop of spectrum X 360

  I find the light behind the f5 key to be more annoying when I try to use the keyboard with backlighting off.  There must be a way to turn off that light, but I can't understand it.  Any help would be appreciated.

  Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

  I'm not here to defend, criticize or otherwise get into a shouting match on a small light on a computer keyboard.  Please accept my sympathy for the fact that this little light is boring, it makes you crazy, and the light is on the list of things that you hate the most in this world.

  I can offer a workaround works.  I used this solution on several annoying tiny lights around the office, a bright blue light particularly boring on the DVR box and a relentless blinking light on an old clock:

  Decreases light intensity - blockers LED

  The website is home' - you can buy these little gems almost anywhere...

  Good news is that there is a difficulty.

  I was given further guidance to Support cat HP, including a link to the page software and downloads.  This shows a new BIOS Softpaq, which has not been suggested by HP Support Assistant. Details of the update of the BIOS are;

  I understand that you have recently purchased a x 360 spectrum and on the initial Setup, the screen flickered. You tried to research how to fix this problem, but found nothing useful.  You have decided to restart the laptop and now the screen is black, but flickering and the touchpad is not responding,

  First of all, I would like to try a reset hard or forced. HP Notebook PCs - performing a Hard Reset or forced Reset.

• Spectrum X 360: Unable to connect to the wifi Café

  I can not connect to the wifi of my favorite coffee more. I received my laptop of spectrum x 360 a month ago and was able to connect to the wifi of my coffee for a few weeks without problem. Then a couple of weeks it stopped connecting. It says it is connected, but warns that it has limited connectivity. He also said that she was taking an unusually long time to connect. In all cases, it doesn't have a connection to work, because my browser cannot display web pages. I tried to disconnect/reconnect, turning off wifi / it, reboot/power, but nothing seem to help.

  169.250.107.106 is an automatic private IP address windows will use if it fails to get an IP address from the DHCP server.

  -Have you tried to clear your browser cache to see if that's why you can access the page of the router authentication?

  How to clear the Cache

  -Also, check if your Windows Internet setting has a configured proxy address.  If you have a single set, note and empty.

  How to locate the proxy settings

  If still no joy, then could you please find the make/model of router in the coffee shop, and also, what wireless driver version the scepter is running?  Sometimes it can be as simple as the firmware on the router wireless being old and has problems with new wireless solutions.

  It seems that the Macbook Pro has a 802. 11 a/b/g Wireless NIC, while the Sceptre has either an 802.11 a/b/g/n or it may also include 802.11ac support.  This is not necessarily a problem, but you try to access the advanced settings of the wireless driver and try to define 802.11n Mode "off" and see what happens.

  I do not recommend to install Windows 7 on your product.  For your product, the only available on the HP website drivers are for Windows 8.1 and 10 operating systems.  I hope this helps.

  I recently bought a laptop Convertible spectrum HP x 360 13 - 4007na that accompanies windows 8.1 and I immediately upgraded to Windows 10.
  I have a strange bug in the photos app that I don't have in other machines that I put to date.

  In a folder with<= 30="" jpg="" images="" i="" can="" click="" on="" any="" of="" them,="" opening="" the="" photos="" app,=""  and="" then="" scroll="" through="" them="" all="" using="" either="" the="" mouse="" scroll="" wheel="" or="" the="" little="" arrows="" on="" the="" left="" and="" right="" of="" the="">

  In a folder with > 30 jpg images, if I click on any that are more than 30 of the end of the file so I can not scroll, and no little arrows appear on the images. However if I click on an image that is 30 or less from the end of the folder then I can scroll normally all the images including the first.

  This does not happen on any of my other PC of Windows 10, and it's so strange and coherent that I don't see what's wrong.

  Has anyone else seen elsewhere, or may offer an explanation or a solution?

  Thank you for your inquiry.

  I understand that if you open a folder that contains more than 30 photos you can scroll through the first 30 days, but after that you can not.

  This happens with all the pictures in the folder or just one in particular.

  The folder directly on your laptop or is it on the web as on Facebook or in the cloud?

  Have you checked against viruses and malware?   MS malware removal tool

  You did all your Windows updates?

  Did you run HP Support Assistant to help with the updates from HP and solve problems?

  Have you tried to run the troubleshooter in Windows?

  You can try this step to analyse and try to repair corrupted files.

  You must have administrator rights to do this.

  Right click on the Windows button (lower-left).

  Choose the administrator command prompt.

  Type sfc/scannow , and then press ENTER.

  This will take some time, please be patient.

  If the problem persists, I would try a refresh, which will reinstall the OS, but should not affect your personal files.  I do not pretend that you are protecting your data, first of all, just to be sure.

  Refresh is part of resetting Windows 10 (from windows.microsoft.com).

• Poor - Wireless number spectrum 13 HP - HP support now cannot use unit to all the

  I contacted HP support yesterday because my laptop HP spectrum 13 Pro has a lot of trouble getting a wireless internet access.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it works then falls down; and he is never able to connect using my iPhone as a hotspot for more than 10 seconds.

  HP support person asked me to install 2 updates.   Now, my laptop does not at all!  It says "Boot Device not found".   I have to wait for a technician completely replace the hard drive, then wait a week for a USB plugin load a new system.

  HP are * not * offering a laptop for me to use during this time, which means that I don't have a laptop on business for a week (maybe more?)

  Also, I have to buy Windows software and other software that I had paid for such as Foxit PDF and I will not get compensated for that.

  I used this dynadock to connect 2 external monitors, HMI and VGA (adapter w/DVI) to my laptop HP spectrum x 360.
  After the upgrade of windows 8.1 for windows 10, the system cannot recognize the external monitor 2 simultaneously.

  If I connect the Hdmi monitor, does not recognize the Vga (dvi) monitor. If I disconnect the Hdmi monitor it recognizes the Vga (dvi) monitor.
  I uninstalled the current displaylink software and installed the latest version: 7.9.421.0 (ver.dated 2015-08-03) and the problem persists.
