  You will need to enable the touchpad on the laptop itself.

  Find the area of the touch pad, you will find a button to enable or disable the touchpad.

  If the step above doesn't, try this step.

  Go to control panel > mouse > device settings tab
  Click (or to disable)

  

  Notes:
  On some models, there is a keyboard shortcut to enable or disable the touchpad. For example, ACER, just do Fn + F7.
  You can click on Reset device if none of these solutions work.

  If you still can't touch pad to work, you will need to contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer for more information.

  I decided to go there and try Chrome.

  Thanks for your reply. I tried some troubleshooting steps today morning and find the root cause of the problem.

  The problem with the driver for keyboard and mouse, so I uninsatlled form the machine. After the reboot, the problem disappeared, but my point of the mouse works slowly in any case I'm looking for the latest driver :)

Is there a way to access the serial number of my version already installed and insert it in the version of track to make it work for me?

  If you take the time to register to your original with Adobe installation (which most people do not), you can log in to your Adobe account and get the serial number. If you use a Windows computer and still have access to the old computer where Lightroom is installed, you can do the following:

  1. in the window folder options, make sure that you are able to see hidden folders.

  2. go to the C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Lightroom folder.

  3. use Notepad to open the file, Lightroom 5.0 Registration.lrreg

  You will be able to retrieve your serial number of this file.

  You are allowed to install on two machines, so there is no urgency to uninstall.  But having the option available additional machine has ever done wrong, so if you want to uninstall, do not forget to disable this first (which is under the main menu toolbar help option)

  I have a new HP laptop with Windows 8.1. I HATE the charms bar. It is very annoying.   I have an Apire one laptop with Windows xp service pace 3. I had to restore it to factory about 3 years ago. Some time after that the sound system began to slow and the Synaptics mouse stop working properly. I can move the pointer, but the left click does not work. It works in safe mode but not in normal windows. I used the Acer eRecovery for correct, but it did not work. I tried to download the driver for the mouse on the internet, but some how it could stop the download. I gave up at tring to fix. Some time in late March or early April, I couldn't access internet and after 22:30. I ran the diagnosis that is provided by internet explore and he said that the HTTP and HTTPS worked but the FTP did not work. AVG later told me my firewall is disabled and there was the possibility to reactivate it and I did. After internet explore stop allowing you to enter certain sites that I wanted to enter, I ran the Diagnostics again and he told me that a firewall client has been the cause of the problem. I tried to control my firewall setting, but had that "due to a problem not identified, windows cannot display the firewall settings".
