• All computer crashes when you play Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 (Blue Blue without seeing screen?)

  When you play Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 , my laptop Toshiba Satellite A215-4757 freezes (sometimes after about half an hour, or sometimes less than 5 minutes).  The game has worked until I upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (earlier version of windows: Vista Home Premium 32-bit .)  As far as I know, all my drivers are updated and regular, programs such as Firefox and Outlook will work perfectly.  I'm not sure my other full-screen games, as I have not tried to play them again.

  I have the game in compatibility mode for XP SP2, but before that I did, the same error occurred.

  The error when I finally force close and turn on the computer named blue screen (although when the computer froze, there was no blue screen, just the image of the frozen game, and the sound was still running like nothing happened.)  I don't remember the other information contained in the error.

  Chronology of the error:

  • I opened the game and it loads fine.
  • I go through the menus and select the park that I want to play and it loads fine.
  • I'll be working or seeking / everything I do at the Park, when suddenly it freezes.
  • I turned off the computer and turn it back on.
  • Startup takes a little longer than normal.
  • Windows opens the error message (which I don't remember the details.)

  More precisely what I mean by freeze (obvious, maybe, but just try to be specific as possible):

  • No mice.
  • Without ctrl alt del ability.
  • No capacity alt tab.
  • No windows key capability.
  • Necessary to force to stop with the button on the computer.

  Unfortunately, Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 is not compatible with Windows 7. You must have the Windows xp mode in order to install and run it.

For a hobby I have difficulty computing hardware wise, sometimes with the software, and I implemented several networks a lot a lot. I've been "Playing" with computers for more than 10 years now. This problem takes just the cake. Took 2 days to find a way to get windows 7 works with my ATI card and no it was not the AGP hotfix that they, he was actually using Windows 7 provided on the cd drivers and install windows 7 with just the onboard VGA output and installing my video after the first win7 card run.   Something is slowing down the laptop. Have you installed some antivirus or firewall? If you disable what are your speed better. I got a DVD in my notebook that has slowed the process of starting a lot. You can check this.

  If I use a mouse Mighty Mouse or Magic Mouse or Magic Mouse 2, the small red candy that closes an application frequently darkens when I click it.   Have you tried to "Force quit" the app (s) affected as and when the problem occurs, followed by a reboot?

  If the mice are sitting close to each other they are likely to interfere, although the button color change is not something that I've met before.   Disconnect the old mouse because only Magic Mouse 2 will work correctly with El Capitan.

  I put t know what happens with your game exactly but try to fix the graphics settings to lower the level because you can not expect so high performance as with the graphics cards for desktop computers.

  Please check tool system information you will find under the heading Accessories > system tools. Here you can see the info on graphics card. Info about 128 MB should be correct. This value is also in the laptop specification M40.
