Laptop seems to kill Internet connection

I have a problem with my laptop computer/Internet connection who suddenly began to occur during the last two weeks. In fact, whenever I turn on my laptop the internet connection in my house goes down.

All the lights on my router show green and good to go... until I turn on my laptop. Immediately the Green turns red? I tried to disable the Wi - fi and direct ethernet cable connection, but the same thing happens.

If I use my work laptop or if my use of the girlfriend of Siena, then fine. If one of them is enabled and works very well and I turn on phone said... everyone loses the connection.

If this was happening to all that tries to connect then I could understand and put it down to the provider, but it seems to have something against my specific laptop One!

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello

Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forum.

I understand you have questions using the computer with the internet connection.

But I would like to know some more information on this issue to help you better.

You did it all changes prior to this issue?

In the meantime, please follow the following suggestions to solve the problem.

Method 1: First of all, try to diagnose and repair network problems by performing the Troubleshoot utility mentioned below.

Using the troubleshooter from network in Windows 7

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7

Method 2: I wish that you start the computer in safe mode with network and then try to connect to the internet and see if that helps. See the link to start in safe mode.

Advanced (including the safe mode with networking) startup options.

My laptop is down the internet connection several times daily. I can usually restore the connection to solve the problem. It restores the connection for a while but always says the same thing. «A network cable connected correctly isnot or can be broken and also problem with wireless adapter access point.» I live with 3 other people and we all use the same router and they have no problems.

Also, my computer has some weird pink points at the top of the home screen. So sometimes when I pull up to early or a photo or something there are pink lines on the photos. No idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

I discovered that I had the same problem of the abandonment of the Internet with HP envy. I went on the Intel site and found that they had a fix for the problem I do not know the wireless card you have that I go to your site of NIC and check and see if they have a patch for your network card. After I installed the patch for my NIC my problem disappeared. HP sent me an email with the appropriate also fix.

  • E - 17e125nd laptop computer Pavilion bad internet connection.

Yesterday, I bought a laptop HP Pavilion type 17-e125nd. This laptop seems to have very bad internet connection while the signal is 100%. All the time he said that some sites Web cannot be opened. After the page refreshes it does sometimes or I have to close the browser and try again. After that, the page opens sometimes well, sometimes it opens but does not completely load or load into a very strange layout.

    What can be the problem?

Once again: the signal connection is 100%. 2 other PCs on the network have no problem at all. If its a problem with the bought new HP laptop, I'm afraid.

Pretty strange for a new computer.

Anyone here with the same problems? Or perhaps someone who knows how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance

Remove the Vista updates; two ways to do this:

    1. a System Restore to before the updates:

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > System Restore > restore time/choose your own date > next

If you use Norton, disable it before using the system restore.

If it is impossible to enter the Normal Mode, do a Safe Mode system restore:

When you take a look at pending updates, you can either download/install them one at the time, namely the update causing you problems.

  • WRT1900AC shows connected to the laptop wireless, but 'NO internet Connection' triangle

recently replaced EA3500 Cisco that quit smoking with WRT1900AC

configured for the wired network OK

will connect WIFI for android Tablet

DOES not connect to win 7 PC... worked fine with the old router (2 years)

reset the WRT1900AC to factory settings... allowed 2.4 and 5 ghz...

PC sees the wireless network and connects with password, still "NO internet connection".

    any ideas?

    Thank you waltinbatonrouge

Thanks a lot for taking the time to suggest a fix... But the WRT1900AC went back to Best Buy yesterday. Easy back, by the way.

Oh just a parenthesis... the WRT1900ac has finally connected ok Cat5. The speakeasy speedtest showed on 100-105Mbps of download, the same as the old EA3500 seized croasse.

So, instead, I found an EA3500 used in a store of the local computer. Reset default and he already had the latest firmware.

The old router Cisco EA3500 used the very simple "Cisco Conect" utility.

Forums directed me to a version EA3500 of the "Linksys WiFi Smart" utility, which was a painless and immediately picked up the wireless for laptop Toshiba.

He ran the same features on the speedtest and connected 'excellent' on room android...

    Have a great week!

  • Laptops give up the Internet connection intermittently

I have a portable satellite, and my wife has a Tecra laptop. We connect through a PC to the internet via WIFI.

Two notebooks remove the connection to the internet intermittently - to connect in the first place, we need to click on a few favorites in internet explore - only then either connects.

I also connected through a network of friends that is configured in the same way and the same thing happens. It has a portable older tosh which connects perfectly and does not drop the line.

We compared the settings and all seem to be the same, so something else isn't quite right.

I'm running XP (SP2), built in the LAN card (which is fine) and connect via a netgear access point, which is about 2 feet away.

I'd appreciate any help in what he makes us all crazy!

    Hi Hunter

I also use a wireless connection at home. Two of my books (P20 Satellite and Tecra M1) are connected to the Belkin wireless router. Setup was simple and without any problems and I had no problem at all.

Can you please tell me what you use right now (point of access Netgear or desktopPC) for wireless connection? Use you the client or Windows to configure wireless network settings?

  • Ethernet cable to connect my windows laptop 7 to the internet. connection is very bad. It works but only for 30 minutes max.

My internet does not work correctly. I use an ethernet cable to connect my laptop (using windows 7) to the internet. However the connection is very bad. Sometimes it works but only for 30 minutes max, and other times it does not at all, connect saying that the cable is disconnected. I tried 3 different cables to 2 different ports, then maybe the problem comes from my laptop. It connects to the wifi networks fine but not with the cable. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be the problem and how can I solve this problem?

    How to connect wirelessly

    MR. PHILIPPE,

Make sure you have your wireless card install correctly on your computer. If you have a laptop then you have a wireless card already in the machine.

That's all need you. Go to start > Control Panel > network connections, here it takes a current wireless connection. If no, you must install you wireless drivers from the manufacturing of the Wireless card in the computer. (Linksys, Netgear ext...)

  • HP Pavilion laptop 1310us g7: wireless internet connectivity

I can't connect to the internet via a wireless network.  Windows 7 tells me that the NICs working properly.  I think that the proper adapter is Broadcom 4313 GN 802.11 etc..   I tried disabling and enabling the adapter without success.  A guru of the computer club suggested that I probably have a bad card network.  I wonder if it could be a bad wireless (f12) key on the keyboard.  How can I determine what really is the problem?

    Hello Ashan,

    Thanks for the reply.

You can try to follow the following suggestions to solve the problem.

First, try to reset Internet Explorer and see if that helps.

    Reset Internet Explorer

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/923737

Note: The Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature might reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings. Reset Internet Explorer is not reversible, and all the previous settings are lost after reset.

    Additional information:

We can also refer to the computer or the device manufacturer's Web site and try to update the latest version of the network adapter drivers.

    (Also works for Windows 8)

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly
