  After more digging deeper, I found that this problem occurred in other things as well, but seems to be worse in FF for some reason any. With other things as if we were trying to copy and paste in windows or IE Explorer, sometimes it work and sometimes it wouldn't. After that scrubbing windows supports the forums and by sticking to a few suggestions, most people seem to think it could be a malware or a virus. I scanned the system with multiple programs and found nothing. In all my efforts, I was not able to determine why this was happening. I wanted no pictures of system previously and just copy / paste to work again, so I backed up my data and did a new install of Windows 7. So far, everything is back to normal now. I just wish I knew for what has caused this to happen. At this point, I don't think that Firefox was to blame in my case. It was my bad to assume that caused Firefox because it is the first place I've seen that happen and I spend more time than other things on my pc using FF.

  In rare cases, copy and paste in Windows work stoppages - which means that nothing can be copied and pasted between any application: Notepad, Word, Wordpad, etc. InDesign. CTRL + C and Ctrl + V do not. If we use the Edit menu to copy, and then in the same application or in another application click Edit, paste to the option is grayed out.

  What operating system do you have on the laptop before? You can get a Windows 8 upgrade for that - but I would not honestly - recommend it because the difference is quite obvious and you haven't checked your software and hardware is supported on Windows 8, I know. My recommendation for Windows 8 is to use * if * the system you have came from the manufacturer with it pre-installed. :-)

  I have installed the agent of sight, recorded the comments with the connection to the server and can connect using client PCoIP.  However copy/paste, drag-drop and file share do not work.

  Running vmware-user-suid-wrapper manually in the connected session errorcould not open proc/fs/vmblock/dev .  lsmod does not show vmblock module loaded, nor can it be found if I attempt to modpobe it manually.

  Anyone got this working on 14.04.03?
