    Hi all

    We oracle 10.2.0.4 DB running on HP - UX PARISC system.

    Thanks in advance,

    This is a known problem with 10.2.x.x on HP - UX with a certain operating system configuration, you must define DISK_ASYNCH_IO on false and perhaps FILESYSTEMIO_OPTIONS voice against zero.

  • Problem loading of a large number of csv files

    Hi all

    I have a problem loading of a large number of csv files in my LabVIEW program. I have attached a png image of the code simplified for only loading sequence.

    What I want to do is load the data of 5000 laser beam profiles, so 5000 files csv (68 x 68 elements), and then proceed to an analysis of data. However, the program will only ever 2117 files, and I get no error message. I also, tried at the beginning of loading a single file, selecting an area of cultures - say 30 x 30 items - and then to load the rest of the files cropped to these dimensions, but I always get only 2117 files.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated,

  • need to convert a 6 000 pdf to Excel files. How to convert a large number of PDF files at once

    Have a large database of PDF reports I need to export to Excel in order to build a searchable database effectively

    Can I do in Acrobat in large volume and just leave the machine agree with it or not.

    Acrobat Pro has 'actions', but they are designed for the automation of the light trucks. I recommend you do not more than 200 at a time, leaving Acrobat between each of them.

    However, I must comment on the premise. Conversion to Excel is a very uncertain task, based on conjecture and rarely is exactly what is needed. Individual inspection of each file Excel with adjustment, rejection or leisure is usually considered a must.

    If you have a large number of identically to the PDF format, you must look or an application that is designed to extract based on this provision, rather than leaving to the conjecture of the commission.

  • Approach to analyze the large number of XML files in the relational table.

    We are studying the possibility of XML DB to treat a large number of files from same day.
    The goal is to parse the XML file and store it in several relational tables. Once in the relational table don't care us about the XML file.
    The file cannot be stored on the file server and must be stored in a table before analysing because of security concerns. A third-party system will send the file and it will store in the XML database.
    The file size can be between 1 MB to 50MB and high performance is very that much is expected of other wise men, that the solution will be discarded.
    Although we have no of XSD, the XML file is well structured. We are 11g Release 2.

    Based on the reading, that's what my approach.
    1. CREATE THE DONNEES_XML TABLE
    (xml_col XMLTYPE)
    XMLTYPE xml_col STORE AS BINARY XML NAVIGATION;

    2. third will store the data in the donnees_xml table.
    3. create XMLINDEX on the unique XML element
    4 create XMLTYPE views
    CREATE OR REPLACE FORCE VIEW (V_XML_DATA)
    SType,
    Mtype,
    MNAME,

    )
    AS
    SELECT x."Stype"
    x."Mtype."

    OF data_table t,.

    Mtype VARCHAR2 (3) path "Mtype."
    MNAME VARCHAR2 (30) PATH "MNAME"
    ROT VARCHAR2 (30) PATH "OID") x;

    5. loading mass analysis of data in the staging table based on the column in the index.

    Please comment on the process that precedes any suggestions that can improve the performance.

  • Trace file generated not.

    Hey guys,.

    I am using oracle 10g and is trying to generate a trace file.

    Using sql_Plus I see that timed_statistics is set to true, max_dump_file_size is set to unlimited, and user_dump_dest is set to C:\ORACLE\PRODUCT\10.2.0\ADMIN\ORCL\DUMP.

    I run the script in Oracle SQL Developer:

    ALTER session set sql_trace = true;
    /

    ... Block PL/SQL which I want to trace...

    /
    ALTER session set sql_trace = false;
    /

    After that this sql runs without error there is no file on my computer in the user_dump_dest. In fact the path under user_dump_dest does not exist yet. What I first create the path? I looking in the wrong place? I do something wrong when setting sql_trace?

    Thank you
    Ian

    The trace file is written to the database server.

    Miss me certainly something trivial, thank you if you find it before me :)

    I'm generating trace with ALTER SESSION SET SQL_TRACE = TRUE files. It works with a local connection, but not when connected via a listener.

  • Adobe Flash Player records a large number of empty files "fap" in my Firefox and Temp files. How can I avoid this?

    Whenever I go to pages where the Adobe Flash Player "plugin - container.exe" flows "FlashPlayerPlugin_xx_x_xxx_xx.exe" (where x is the version number), it causes hundreds of empty folders "fap" save in my Firefox and C:\Windows\Temp folder. How can I avoid this?

    Thank you!

    BINGO!

    The link 'Mode protected Flash' was exactly what I was looking for.

    Check your task manager and see if you have two instances of Flash Player Plugin running. If you do, go to your Flash C:\windows\system32\macromed folder. In Win Vista or 7, 64-bit OS, it should be here:

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

    Open the file mms.cfg with Notepad and add this line:

    ProtectedMode = 0

    Save the file, and the problem is solved. You should not see two instances of Flash Player, and you will not get the files "fap" more.

    Thank you very much!

  • Duplicate files: I have a large number of directories and files dublicate in "C:\Documents and Settings".

    I have a large number of dublicate files and directories in 'C:\Documents and Settings\Jim\' and 'C:\Users\Jim\' after the upgrade of Windows Vistat Ultimate 64 bit to Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Why?

    The documents are really in the second folder, Documents and Settings is
    a junction point.

    In Vista and Windows 7, "Documents and Settings" is not a folder.
    Vista/Win7 uses a different file structure than XP/don't. Those who don't know
    the names of folders you can be used for, such as "My Documents", "Documents &.
    Settings', etc. are not folders in Vista/Win7. They are the points of junction,
    and are used for legacy programs that have been written to use the XP file
    structure.
    They will redirect the programs to use the Vista/Win7 equivalents records.
    If you keep hidden protected operating system files, you will not see them.

    In Vista/Win7...
    The documents & settings-> \Users
    My Documents-> \Users\youraccount\Documents
    My music-> \Users\youraccount\Music
    Application-> \Users\youraccount\AppData data
    etc.

  • How to work with large number of files to a cloud export in Adobe's PDF format

    I have about 1000 PDF files to be converted to Excel.

    What means are optimal (i.e. with less manual intervention) in which I can do these tasks:

    * Download

    * convert

    * Download

    Pointers to a link will be useful. The FAQ page doesn't have this info: FAQ | Export of Adobe PDF

    I found a way to download it via a web browser and convert them via a web browser (with the help of pointing and clicking in the GUI). These methods REQUIRE the browser to be open so that the download and conversion happens - and this leads to frequent crashes / freezing of the browser windows while download / convert several files at once.

    How background sync (i.e. as in Dropbox or box etc, in which I save the files in a folder and it automatically syncs in the background) for uploading / downloading files?

    It would be great if someone can point out a optimal workflow / recommended for (conversion) handling a large number of PDF files using Adobe Document Cloud export in PDF format

    There is no best or recommended workflows. It is not designed for $ 20. Not even the product of Acrobat $500 would be 1000 PDFs without pain, but it would be a little better.

    Why are you doing a select * from plan_table - you will be followed this statement as well?

    You don't want to do a 'plan to explain,' you just want to run the current statement.

    I can't find a way to the iPad to choose a large number of photos at the same time (similar to the use of the SHIFT key to select a group of files in windows).  I would like to delete a large number of photo files to save storage space can be used for the future taking pictures.  I wonder if there is an easier way to do that than to have to select and remove each file individually rather than delete them as a group.  By the way this should be done twice if you want immediate deletion.  There must be an easier way.  We appreciate and support.

    Open your photos > press Select > drag your finger through the photos you want to delete. To remove deleted lately, open the recently deleted album > press Select > tap Delete everything in the upper left corner. -AJ
