Laser Jet MFP M277 dw Pro: software updated, no, I can't print

I just updated the software of the printer, and now it says memory error power.  It is on all 4 cartridges.  It was printing fine until that change the software.   I tried everything with no luck.  The print cartridges I have are cartridges HP no.

  • HP Laser Jet MFP M125 NW Pro: THE HP Previously 125126 scan is not found

    After forcing ugraded to Windows 10 I find now that I can't use the ease of the scan on the printer above.  When I get the HP doctor to check everything going through the different steps through Windows and then I am asked to do an analysis of test - when I select what I get a message saying THE Previously 125126 scan HP was not found.  If I skip this step and go to the next option, I find myself at the beginning.

    As a senior try my best stay on top of things I find it very very frustrating.

    Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your problem of scan.

    I have undersatnd that you have upgraded to Windows 10 and since then have not been able to scan with your M125nw of MFP HP LaserJet Pro. I would like to help.

    It's definitely a software problem. I would start by uninstalling any printer related software by following the steps described in this document of support - uninstalling the software of the printer (Windows).

    If you get prompted to restart the PC when uninstalling, restart the PC. If get you invited to restart, restart the PC once uninstallation is complete.

    Then I would download and install version 10 of Windows of the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125/126 full series software and drivers. You can go to the Web page for download by clicking here.

    Once installation is complete, you should be able to start a new search. Here is a support document which can serve as a reference if necessary - scanning the computer HP Scan (Windows).

    Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

    the digital and print values are different.

    pages scanned copy 65 - this means that 65 pages have been executed by the scanner with someone using the copy function. the report shows 66 printed pages 'copy' which means 64 of these copies were only a single copy and 1 scan someone made 2 copies - which gives you a total of 66 pages printed from the copy function.

    pages scanned to accommodate 86 = that means 86 pages were executed by the scanner with a person who uses the "scan to network folder" or "scan to computer" function

    That's a total of total of 151 pages run through your scanner. only 2 values that you add to the scanner are the "copy" and «scan to host» numbers copy of 65 + 86 scan-to-host ='s 151 total scans

    total impressions are 829. pages printed from copy fuction are 66 - if you subtract 66 829 that gives you the number of pages that have been printed from a computer = 763

    763 pages printed computer + 66 pages printed using the copy function = 829 total number of pages printed

  • Color Laser Jet MFP M277dw Pro: frequently updated software

    I am the owner of a color Laser Jet MFP M277dw Pro. I get updates almost every week, and the software update is very strange. I'm clicking on the update system, it takes a lot of time to meet up with the text saying I'll remove the actual update or add another device. When I say no, thanks, I'll get a message saying that my update was successful (but only if I have to cancel this message). I don't understand why I have to go through this illogical question. Also, I don't understand why it is not necessary to update very frequently, especially when there is no explanation of the reason why.

    The two just exclamation points annoy me because I think that there must be a problem with the software, even if the printer works well.

    Given that the printer works, I would say to hide updates.

    A poster tried to show or hide updates and it solved their problem.

    You can also give your feedback to Microsoft, and if all goes well, they will release an update to correct the function of the operating system. You can learn how here; Updates and feedback.

  • Color Laser JEt MFP M477fd Pro: automatic update of ruined printers print

    My new laser Jet worked very well until I followed the instructions on the printer for an automatic update. Now print is ruined. Page layout is described in gray, and look bad color photos. This happened DIRECTLY after that I said yes to the screen to update printer on the printer itself. I did not change my Mac.

    I tried closing printer, computer shutdown, and then restart the printer, then restart the computer.

    The Configuration report (can barely read.) Firmware Datacode says: 20160331, which is apparently the most recent printing for my model software.

    I'm on a Mac 10.10

    Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M477fdw, bought end of 2015.

    The printer was so easy to set up and worked wonders for 200 pages that I sent to him so far, until I said yes to an update. Wish really to say yes to that, but I just assumed it would work as well as everything else.

    After trying countless things, including uninstalling and reinstalling the printer and download the latest driver, I called Technical Support. The number is on the internet, not on HP. 800-334-5144 where you need it. They continue to try to trick you online, but eventually, you get to someone who can help.

    When I described the print results, I was getting, she had me do the cleaning Page, 3 x and 3 x color calibration, which corrects the problem.

    The problem of updating firmware with the trainer, is what I * think * she said.

    If your printer works fine... DON'T let NOT download an update.

    It has been long since I've owned a laser printer. Lesson learned. Thank you, Natasha.

    I have a Laser Jet MFP Pro 127fw. I can scan by clicking on the icon to scan on my desk. Is there a way I can add an option to scan for the small screen on the printter where icons for 'Copy', 'Fax' and the 'Apps' icons appear? Or do I always have to run a scan directly from my PC?  Thank you.

    From what I understand you do all your scans of computer software. Ask yourself if you are able to download a scan icon on the front of the printer display panel.

    There was no selection board for printers.     I need the manual for a laser jet mfp 127fn pro.  whenever I click on this manual, on the website of hp, I get a blank screen with a tiny 'x' in a small circle at the top left of my screen.   can someone tell me why I can't access the manual?  I do not have a firewall.

    I understand that you're looking to configure the settings of your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw fax.  I would like to help.

    Here's what I recommend:

    • In the front panel of your printer, press Setup key
    • Touch Fax Setup
    • Touch basic settings
    • Tap Answer Mode
    • Here you can choose either Manual or Automatic.  'Manual' selected you are essentially turning the fax answer capacity off and "Automatic" would naturally be the setting 'on '.

    I have a new HP Laser Jet MFP M127fn Pro: how to send a fax using speed dial, I entered already numbers in the address book.

    I'm embarrassed to say that I spent several hours trying to get the speed dial to work on a M127fn.  It turns out that there really no speed dial.  That's the conclusion of at least a HP tech that actually used the machine.  Another tech was able to describe a way to fax a phonebook entry, but it is quite too complicated to be called a speed dial.

    [1] press the button settings (key).

    [2] press the right arrow to access the phone book.

    [3] press OK button.

    [4] use the right or left buttons to reach the desired phone book entry.

    [5] press the OK button to reveal the label for the entry, or "empty" if it is not set.

    [6] press the OK button if the element is set to display the fax or dialing options.

    [7] press FAX to initiate a fax to this phone book entry.

    My users find it much easier to have their phone numbers pasted on the machine where they can connect looking them to instead scroll through menus, for the right option.

    It seems that there is some sort of disconnect between hardware, firmware, and technical writers on this machine, because this ancient feature has been neglected, and the user guide is left to sputter on the issue.

    I understand that you are not able to configure the printer on the wireless network. I can help you with the installation.

    Restore the default settings of the printer.

    Go to Configuration, restore the default values.

    Cycle power to the router and the computer.

    Run the installer on the printer wireless.

    Go to the configuration, Setup, menu wireless network, Wireless Setup Wizard.

    Print a configuration page to get the IP address of the printer.

    Print a Configuration report.

    Select the method.

    If you have a valid IP address for the printer, then try and access the Web built-in to the printer server. Type the IP address in the address bar of your web browser. (Internet Explorer)

    If it loads the page from the network printer then the printer is on the network.

    Download, save, and then run the installation of the software. Color HP LaserJet Pro 200 pilot M276nw MFPS.

    Select your operating system, click Next and click on the software to download and install.

    Test the printer.

    What operating system do you use? How to find the Windows Edition and the Version on your computer.

    Please provide detailed results if you're still having problems.

  • Laser Jet Pro MFP 177fw: cannot scan with Laser Jet MFP 177fw Pro

    I have been using my 177fw Laser Jet Pro MFP on a Mac 10.10 for awhile.  Print, fax & scaning all worked.  I can scan is no longer.  I get the message "the scanner has not completed analysis" (there may be another message before that but it crushed until I read.).

    I use a USB cable for the connection.

    On August 31 I got HP Printer Software Update Verson 5.  What is my problem?

    I noticed your post about how you can't scan with your MFP HP Laserjet Pro 177fw on your Mac. And I'm happy to discuss this issue scan for you!

    To confirm that the hardware of the printer is functional, you are able to make a copy with the glass of the scanner of the printer?

    To copy:

    1. load the document on the scanner glass according to the indicators on the product.

    2. close the scanner.

    3. on the product control panel, press the button number of Copies.

    4. Select the number of copies.

    5. press the black start copy button or the button color launch copy to start copying.

    Let me know if it works, or if you see another error message.

    If the copy works, then try the steps described in this guide, Scanner USB connection is lost (Mac).

    I get the same Scanner Error 22 on the Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M177fw like many others have posted.  Tried uninstalling\reinstalling the software and tried the most common loading drivers but Scanner error prevented this piece of finish.  Support and I was told we would have to pay $49.95 for them to help us solve the problem.  We just bought this printer 5 weeks ago.  Is this all we can try?

    Thank you for your response. This solution does not solve my problem. HP customer service had travelled me several tests (took about 20-25 minutes total) but ended up sending me a replacement printer. It arrived within two days and so far, the replacement works great. HP has also paid to have the original shipped in return. The process was fairly hassle.

    Installed Windows 10 free update of Windows 8 - everything is going well until an automatic upgrade on August 13, 2015.

    Since the 8/13 patch (?), the Laser Jet Pro MFP M127fw spool print jobs, but do not go to the printer.

    Removed and reinstalled HP provided the CD with the same results.

    Test print at the end of installation OK.

    When you try to print from Outlook 2003, Windows 10 returned two error messages

    It said printer error state.

    Other says something about outbind failure.

    Same feeling of failure for Adobe 11.0.12.

    HP LaserJet MFP M127-M128 PCLmS Pro.

    HP "AUTOFIND PRODCUTS" set ID's of this printer as:

    Resolved failure printing using HP diagnosctic tool 'HP and Scan Doctor 4.7 printing'.

    Installed an AVAILABLE to update the printer driver.

    Not until the 'WITHDRAWAL of POWER' to restart.

    Everything looks OK now.
