LaserJet M525 - AddressBook General error Services

Hello

I have several M525s in my fleet, which all report the same error message in the event log:

"Address book general services error.

After the last round of updates fimrware to 20140529 this error started logging and fill my Pages to the event log.  This same error message recurs several times a day and crushed all the events already logged on to the report.  Was not this error on any M525s before performing the update of the firmware.

Additional information:

-We use HP DSS to disribute our address book on the network

-We use HP WebJet Admin to configure and deploy firmware updates

-Address book is compiled from LDAP queries

-Address Guest Books are allowed and replicated to all printers

-HP DSS replica before opening hours, while these errors normally produce duing hourly in the afternoon

-All the M525s are Enet cable is connected to the network

-We currently only active SNMPv3

Update.

We discovered later that an update of the most recent firmware solved our problems.  This particular firmware version 20140731 date code a.  Since the application of this update, error messages have disappeared.

    I see that you have a problem with the error code "0x610000f6".

    First of all, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a bar/power strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer for example, but it is intended for HP products in general. Please click the link which explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

  • PC migration - converter could not connect to the remote computer. A general error occurred: unknown internal error

    I am brand new to fusion m v so forgive me if I miss useful information of the first post time around.

    I try to use migrate your PC, feature of VM Fusion 8 but I see the error in the title of the topic when I try to start the import operation.

    I have disabled the firewall on the PC and MAC

    I tried over ethernet and direct connections

    When I run the migration of PC Windows tool, he complains that UAC is enabled even if it is not (confirmed via Control Panel and evolution via the command prompt)

    When you try to migrate, it accepts the PIN and then shows a warning on this certificate, that I choose to browse

    Well well just in case someone found this one in the future, the question turns out to be that my PC has been joined to a domain, but I was connected to a local account. I solved the problem by leaving the field. There may be other ways to work around this problem.

    I have ESXi hosts with 4.1_update01 patch and have the free db SQL server for the VC

    I was connected to the VC and notived a server has been disconnected.

    So I tried to connect it again and I had "a general error occurred: failed to ... " Error: error[VdbODBCError] (-1) "ODBC error: (40001) - [Microsoft] [ODBC SQL ... " ERROR [42000 "

    Shrunked the log file and restarted the management agent but still no luck.

    The VM on the server is still online. Can someone please help. Thank you

    Don't know the exact reason of why you get this error, but you try to manage a host ESXi 4.1 Update 1 with vCenter 4.0.x?

  • Storage VMotion - a general error occurred: could not wait for the data.  Error bad0007.

    People,

    I searched through this forum and have not found an answer that works in many positions out there, I say to myself that I would ask him once again.

    Here's the context:

    We have 12 identical Dell M600 blades in 2 chassis with 16 GB of Ram, 2 x Xeon E5430, they are all connected to an Equallogic PS 5000XV iSCSI SAN on a separate iSCSI (vswitch1) with 2 cards network dedicated network and dedicated switch, console svc iscsi dedicated, dedicated VMkernel port for iscsi access. Net access (vswitch0) contains port groups VM for our various networks and a console port and vmkernel svc for VMotion with 2 separate NETWORK cards as well.

    We are running ESX 3.5 U3 and VCenter 2.5 U3 on Win2k3 R2

    VMotion works between all servers, Storage Vmotion works for most machines, HA works and the value 2 host failurs with no monitoring of vm, DRS is set to manual for now I have a few machines on the local stores that I complete my rebuilt LUN, there is no set of rules for DRS and VMware EVC is enabled for guests of the Intel. However, I'll just describe one machine to do svmotion below.

    Here's the problem:

    I'm trying to Svmotion via svmotion.pl - interactive, a Machine to Windows 2000 with a virtual disk and a virtual RDM. I am aware of the requirements for the RDM and required parameters for svmotion, independent is not selected for the RDM, and I also have svmotioned several machines linux and win2k3 with the same configuration without problem. In the interactive session, I choose to individually place the disks and I chose the virtual disk to only the virtual machine to be moved, essentially, as I saw it move vdisk virtual machine and then copy to the pointer of the RDM.

    The use of the processor in this machine is about 25% average. but I try to run migrations at the time the lowest. and The Host it itself shows only about 5.5 GB of the 16 GB of RAM used. so I think we're good on the RAM. the volume/datastore that I'm migrating from has 485 GB free and the volume/datastore I migration towards a 145 GB free. the VM virtual disk is only about 33 GB.

    I run the script the windows version of the RCLI svmotion. and when to begin the process, I get the following error at around 2 percent of the progress:

    "Since the server has encountered an error: a general error occurred: could not wait for the data."  Error bad0007. Invalid parameter. »

    After searching around, I found the following hotfixes to the U2 release notes

    • Migrate.PageInTimeoutResetOnProgress: Set the value to 1.

    • Migrate.PageInProgress: The value 30, if you get an error even after the setting of the Migrate.PageInTimeoutResetOnProgress variable.

    I've made these changes, and I still get the same error.

    When I dig in the newspaper, I see these entries in the journal of vmkwarning:

    The vmkernel on out of memory error, I had that before. And vmware support recommends setting 800M Max service console memory. And I did it and have no problems after that.

    See if that helps the issue.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

    indicates that the porus waste pads are at the end of their useful life and you should get replace them and then use the reset utility. It may be cheaper to just buy a new printer, so study the costs before making a decision. I would contact Epson directly for advice.

    Why am I get an error of ing:

    GENERAL ERROR.  THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE PRINTER.  REFER TO THE DOCUMENTATION OF THE 0X61011BE9 PRINTER

    With the C309g, there are a few things you can try to do before a reset if you have not already. First of all, turn the printer off and unplug. Then remove the printhead and clean the electrical contacts on it and on the inside of the printer. In the video transport Jam following the link to all about minute 7 it shows you how to remove the printhead. Make sure you do not touch the bottom of the print head because it is where are the nozzles. Touch the nozzles can transfer ink and damage the print head. To clean the contacts get a lint cloth or a coffee filter (a paper towel will work, but it is not recommended to use because they tend to fall apart very easily) and bottled or distilled water (tap water will not work, because there many microscopic contaminants that can damage the print head). Moisten the cloth and dry the remaining water. Gently clean the contacts at the back of the print head and the printer ensuring dry any excess water on the print head and inside the printer. Replace the printhead and ink and plug the printer back. See if the message still comes up.

    If after cleaning it still does not work, do a hard reset of the printer (instructions below). If she still has the error after the hard reset, then there is nothing that can be done, and the printer will need to be replaced.

    To do a hard reset:
    1. make sure that the printer is turned on.
    2. pull on the power cord from the printer.
    3. pull out the power cord from the wall.
    4. wait for 30 seconds.
    5. plug in the printer and turn it on.

    I am running Windows XP SP3 32 bit. IE8 and 2 user accounts with permissions of system administrator. Flash Player 10 has worked well. Delete us all the temporary files, internet history & cache. I have uninstalled all previous versions & tried to install the lateset version. When you try to download Flash Player 11 error msg vary between 'General error' or ' cannot be updated (filename) ' or we do not have the necessary permission. Now he tells me that it cannot be saved. When it works it will download on 1 user account but the 2nd a/c cannot access applications require a PS to run. older versions cannot be re installed. Tried all the suggestions in the forum. Have tried a few weeks to understand it, but I'm stuck now. Help, please.

    Try uninstalling Flash Player using the uninstaller here.  Sometimes, there remains remnants of previous installations.

    Restart the computer

    Reinstall the software after you have cleaned the file cache as described below

    Open the command prompt window

    Type the following commands by pressing enter after each one

    Rundll32.exe inetcpl.cpl, ClearMyTracksByProcess 8

    Rundll32.exe inetcpl.cpl, ClearMyTracksByProcess 255

    Rundll32.exe inetcpl.cpl, ClearMyTracksByProcess 32

    Rundll32.exe inetcpl.cpl, ClearMyTracksByProcess 16

    Rundll32.exe inetcpl.cpl, ClearMyTracksByProcess 2

    Rundll32.exe inetcpl.cpl, ClearMyTracksByProcess 1

    When you are finished with the above commands, type Exit and press ENTER to close the command prompt window.  Reinstall Adobe Flash Player.
