LaserJet Pro M1132 does not scan

I recently bought a printer and scanner LaserJetPro1132. I use Mac OS 10.8.3. Printing works fine, but when I try to scan I get the message "Could not connect to device" (in fact, I was able to analyze once or twice when I just bought the printer, but now this message came several weeks). This happens in the HP Director and other software with scanning possibilities. I reinstalled the driver from the CD, and when that didn't help, I downloaded a driver from the web. Always the same result. Any ideas?

Dear Schlomi,

Thank you once again. I didn't know that Twain drivers were no longer available. And I discovered that my printer appears twice in the IRIS, once with a driver is Twain and once without him. So now it works. Pity with Acrobat, however.

Best wishes
Göran

    Hello

as the topic says I have problem with my beloved printer...

It is a product that I bought because the seller told me that it can scan without a PC. It's wery useful function so he convinced me to this purchase. But when I got home I was surprised wery when discovered lacks Scan to email in the menu structure.

As the former owner of the brother device, I could download the firmware with the i - fax feature. He did well with brother to fill that empty space S2E.

My question is - > don't have the device whose operation hidden somewhere or I can download the firmware to have?

I would like to know if anyone of you has a solution to this problem.

    Hello @DRevan,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you have a new printer Laserjet. I would like to respond to your analysis to the question by e-mail.

The HP LaserJet Pro m127FN does not support scanning to e-mail.

The HP LaserJet Pro m127FW supports scanning to e-mail.

I don't think the seller you have lied. He was probably talking about the 127fw and accidentally sold you the 127dn instead. Or maybe did not know there was a difference between the two.

Hope this helps you. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

  • HP laserjet pro p1102w: hp laserjet pro p1102w does not work on windows 10 - printer needs attention

I installed Windows 10 on my HP PavilionX2 about two weeks ago and after a lot of false starts but I finally going.  I set up my printer HP Laserjet Pro 1102w associated with the installation of HP application and got new drivers, etc.  The installation was successful.  When I tried to print.  I received the message that my printer requires attention. I use generic cartridges, which seems to be contributing to the problem.  However, I discovered that the printer would be finally print everything I sent him a few hours later.  So, every time I want to print I just ignore the message about needing to care, but I have to wait several hours before Windows 10 finally released the document for printing. I have no problems whether in point 8.1 of Windows.  It is new with Windows 10.

My printer works on three of my Windows 7 computers and on three of my computers windows 8.1 and on my iPad, so there is no truth to the message that the printer requires attention.  The printer works fine, but it does not work in Windows 10.  Microsoft Community is no help.  I reinstalled the drivers at least three times using the HP Setup utility. It was worthless.

Is it possible to fix this?

    Hi @technickel5,

I see that you are having problems printing just the Windows 10 computer, the print job prints a few hours later after sending it. I will do my best to help you with this problem. If this helps you to find a solution, please click on the button "" accept as Solution"" down below this message. If you want to say thanks for my effort to help, click on the 'Thumbs Up' to give me a Kudos.

I would cycle power to the router, restart the computer and the printer to see if it will help.

It can be assigned to the printer port. Devices and printers, right click on the printer and left click on printer properties, select the Ports tab and see if the printer is checked on TCP/IP and no WSD. Let me know how it is listed.

Download and run the print and Scan Doctor, he will diagnose the problem and could solve it automatically.

Here is a list that the PSDR check on the computer.

What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (she print or scan, error messages)

If there is anything else I can help you, let me know. Thank you.

  • HP officejet pro 8600 does not scan

I have been using offijet pro all-in-one for 1 year and a half and recently I started having problems when scanner before that this was not a problem.

2 months ago, the printer has not left me more scan to the computer using its features touch screen, for example, I used to which copy of computer on the screen of the printer and it used to work. All of a sudden I started to get the message across "to scan to a computer make sure that the feature is enabled." Open the HP software... »

Then, I found a solution to this by clicking on the scan of my laptop, for example, I found the hp icon scan and the window would come and I could scan.

Two days ago I went to try to scan and when I click on the HP SCAN icon on my laptop it simply does not come to the top! as if I'm not clicking on it. I also tried to scan by clicking on the icon of the hp software where he gives you access to change the settings, get ink levels etc... but the same things happens, it opens!

Within these 2 days for a reason any after click on scan HP several times and restarted the laptop, but sometimes it worked most of the time it didn't. For example today I failed to get to only Scan not even once.

My laptop is hp compaq 6730 s.

NOTE: TO PRINT FROM MY LAPTOP TO THE PRINTER WIRELESSLEY. THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE SCANNING

Thank you for your help, much appreciated. Somehow after a month it suddenly starts working again. However looking back, this week I just uninstalled the HP UPDATE and installed a new. I think it was the thing that solved the problem.

  • LaserJet Pro 400 M451dn: Toner HP Laserjet Pro 400 does not fit

Probably I'm missing a small detail, but after extensive research and contemplate, I decided to ask here.

I have a LaserJet Pro 400 M451dn, who came into my office with no toner cartridge at all. We ordered the appropriate cartridges, 305 a (checked on the box of the printer and here on the website of HP), three more black color.

I opened only the yellow and blue, but not appropriate. In the left and right corners close, there is a piece in the tray of the printer which does not allow to slip into the cartridges. Everything seems correct with regard to the location of the electrical contacts, tabs, etc., but no amount of stirring or twist will allow cartridges to fit in the status bar to which they belong.

I feel a bit stupid if it's something incredibly simple that I'm missing, but I want to know rather than continue to try my own solutions that do not work.

    Any suggestions?

I don't know there is a way to get it free. I never looked at the model number on the front of the printer, but I have now. It came on the Pro 400 area (where it fit well), then glanced at, very quick inspection, like the one on the box. I worked on the wrong model of printer. It's actually a CP2025 which, of course, uses different toner.
I'm sorry to bother you. You probably had something valuable to contribute to the world during the past days dedicated to thinking about my mistake.

  • HP LaserJet MFP M127fw Pro: Range for install MFP HP LaserJet Pro M127fw does not work

I have a HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw, I managed to connect to my office at once. It is connected to my wireless network. For some unknown reason, she has not recently, and I spent hours trying to re - install the drivers without success. The installation program will not recognize or find the wireless printer and when I use a USB cable, the software displays an error after a very long install to be cancelled because there is no other option to clear the error at the level of the 99% mark. There was no facility with the printer CD (bought new). Ideas?

Gemini02, thanks for the post but you didn't have enough info (my fault). HP Installer errors on 99% install marks indicating that it took too much time. I have the same drivers that you said and tried your solution without success. Setup can not see even the printer on the network on a normal attempt while Windows Add printer recognizes it immediately. I gave up the HP installer who never really worked well, even on the first installation and let Windows install using the extracted files of the HP driver. In regards to the scanner, I also leave Windows Installer and if I can't use the HP interface, the Windows generic works as well.

For your info, I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium on an HP P6820 with a Pentium Dual Core E6800 3.33 GHz CPU, 4 GB of RAM. The printer is less than 6 months old and because of the problems regular installation with the HP software installed as disappears from the active list of printers.

Thanks for your help, but I'll stick with Windows Setup instead of the HP Installer.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 does not scan full page legal-size

I have seen this question several times in these forums, but solutions do not apply to me - I can not find the applications or the settings or patches do not resolve the problem. I am running Windows 8 32-bit with a HP Officejet Pro 8600. When you scan a legal size document, the entire page is not scan, even when I select a custom size. The bottom is cut roughly where a letter size page would end.

If you respond with a solution, please be very specific, i.e. If you say "Control Panel", you mean the control panel of Windows 8 or the small touch screen of the printer itself? If you want "pull me up to the HP application", please say that the we - there are several installed on this computer, and I've tried them all.

    Thanks in advance...

In fact, the problem was located. I is broke and finally called HP support. It turns out that, contrary to the information that I have seen elsewhere, legal size paper MUST be analysed the ADF, not the dish. You can see a white band across the plateau where the search starts. The dish is physically unable to accommodate legal communication. Once the original is loaded in the ADF, the size of the document options now include legal communication.

My HP laserjet P1606 does not print some pdf documents.  It is connected via USB to my imac (OS 10.7.5; Adobe Reader 9.5.5). My wireless HP Photosmart 6520 has no problem printing my pdf docs.   Not sure why some files pdf is able to print on the P1606 and others not.  All solutions?

    Hi @JL_MAC,.

I understand that you are not able to print all the PDFs of the HP Laserjet P1606dn, but can the Photosmart 6520. I can help you with this.

Run all the updates to Adobe Reader to see if that helps. The latest version is 11.0.

It could be a problem with the language of the printer.

The Laserjet P1606dn printer is failed and the printer Photosmart 6520 PCL3 GUI language.

    I hope this helps.

    Good day!
    Thank you.

I tried to print the fact sheet on the front panel.

I tried all possible methods found on the web, and even got my replaced printer - same question...

    Hello @ Averus89,

    Welcome to the HP forum.

I understand that you did a lot to solve your M176n and its connection to the ePrint service.

I want to help you with this question.

If the printer does not print the document to Web-based information services, or allowing you to add to HP connected, I have

    Set a manual DNS.

I won't go into the details on setting this up. From your post, I think you know your way around the printer and your network. If I'm wrong, let me know. I'll go into the details.

    The DNS to try is:

    Primary: 209.244.0.3
    Secondary: 209.244.0.4

Set the DNS, and then try again to print the web services information page.

Let me know if it helps.

The loading bar stops at halfway through the load and crashes. I let stand overnight by train to load nothing doesn't. I unplugged the power supply for 10 minutes and tried to restart it after that. Hi @FrankySmutta,

If this helps you to find a solution, please click on the button "Accept as Solution" down below in this message. Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

I'll send you the correct reset of the printer, in a private message.
In the forum next to your handle name simply click on the envelope to see.

Please let me know the results and if there is anything else I can help you. Thank you.

  • HP Laserjet Pro CM1415 cold not scan after upgrade to 8.1 windows

I upgraded Windows 8 to 8.1, and since that time, my laptop can't connect with my scanner.  I tried printing HP and doctor Scan, but when I downloaded the latest driver, he asked me if I wanted to remove my current driver is not to install a new driver.  How can I get my scanner to work?  It prints OK.

Nevermind, I just tried the other installation option, which was to "connect another HP device.  Quick install another HP device using software already loaded on this computer. "What does install the new printer driver and my printer can scan now.  Now I go back and delete the old driver.

This seems to be a problem with the printer driver, so uninstall and reinstall should be attempted.  You can use the latest version of the complete software available for download on the following HP web link:

    http://h20565.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/readIndex?sp4ts.Oid=5076462&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4192

Other possibilities are related to problems due to the unsuccessful upgrade OS or related aspects should also be checked
