  Yes, I would uninstall the driver and software and then download the driver for Windows 7 and install it.

  as the topic says I have problem with my beloved printer...

  It is a product that I bought because the seller told me that it can scan without a PC. It's wery useful function so he convinced me to this purchase. But when I got home I was surprised wery when discovered lacks Scan to email in the menu structure.

  As the former owner of the brother device, I could download the firmware with the i - fax feature. He did well with brother to fill that empty space S2E.

  My question is - > don't have the device whose operation hidden somewhere or I can download the firmware to have?

  I would like to know if anyone of you has a solution to this problem.

  The HP LaserJet Pro m127FN does not support scanning to e-mail.

  The HP LaserJet Pro m127FW supports scanning to e-mail.

  I don't think the seller you have lied. He was probably talking about the 127fw and accidentally sold you the 127dn instead. Or maybe did not know there was a difference between the two.

  I have a windows HP laserjet mfp 1212 electrician network connected to my desktop HP i5 (p6-2371).  Since the upgrade to windows 10 8, although I can print and photocopy I can no longer scan.   I reinstalled the drivers from HP, the pint of HP and a Scan doctor, nothing helps.   The doctor Print & Scan detects the device but says it can not communicate with him.  I also have a Kodak AiO installed as a USB device that scans is more well that it prints.

  The firmware is very important to update.

  You can try to update the firmware from another computer?

  • Try using a USB connection.

  It is possible that the driver was corrupt, so we will need to remove it and reinstall.

  Please follow the steps described in this guide, HP printers - printer problems after upgrade to Windows 10.

  If the problem persists, follow these steps to see if you can solve the problem.

  Let's start by cleaning up your computer.

  • Cleaning disc in Windows 10
  • Perform the clean boot in Windows 10 / 8 / 7
  • Use the File Checker system to repair missing or corrupted system files. It's always a good idea to back up your data before proceeding.
  • File system check (SFC) analysis and repair system files & DISM to fix things that are not SFC.

  Uninstall and reinstall the HP software.

  If you use a USB connection between your computer and the printer please unplug this cable now.

  Step 1: Remove the printer:

  We want a clean slate to install your printer on the computer Windows 10. So, I'll have you ensure no trace of your HP LaserJet. displays currently installed on your computer.

   

  1. click on the Start button

   

  

   

  2. type programs and features. If a search does not start automatically, you will need to type programs and features in the area of "Ask Me anything".

  3. click on programs and features to launch the window.

  4. in programs and features, will populate a list of the programs installed on your computer. Please scroll down and look for your HP LaserJet. If you see your HP LaserJet listed, click on it and choose Uninstall.

  5 follow the prompts on the screen to complete the uninstallation. Once the uninstall is complete successfully please close programs and features.

  6. then, click on the menu start of new

  7. this time type devices

   

  8 click on devices and printers to launch the window.

   

  

   

  9. in devices and printers are looking for your HP Deskjet. If you see if if please right click above and choose 'Remove' or 'Remove'.

  10. Once your HP LaserJet exceeds showing in devices and printers please click on any device in the list of Printers once just to highlight. Click the print server properties on top

   

  

   

  11. click on the drivers tab

  12. look for your HP Deskjet printer driver. If the list, please click it and choose delete

  13. Select delete the driver only

  14. Select OK

  15 click apply and OK in the print server properties window.

  16. close devices and printers. Please proceed to the next step.

   

  Step 2: Install the device:

  1. Please click here to download the full functionality of the software and the driver for your printer
  2. Once the download is complete, follow the prompts on the screen to install your printer
  3. If you use a USB cable connection, leave the disconnected cable until the installation program prompts you to connect

  Once installation is complete, please try printing and scanning.

  If the problem persists, you can try the solution proposed in the thread below.

  (1) open the command prompt window by clicking on the Start > applications > Windows system > guest.

  Type: net stop spooler

  Enter: net start spooler
  Type: exit

   

  2) open Windows Explorer and navigate to:
  %SystemRoot%\System32\Spool\Drivers\W32x86

  NOTE: any % is usually C:\Windows, but it might be "winnt" or something else; It is set when the OS is installed.  Most systems are like this C:\Windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86

  (3) in the w32x86 folder, there will be other folders and files.  Delete everything inside, but DO NOT remove the w32x86 folder.

   

  4) restart the computer - perform clean boot in Windows 10 / 8 / 7

  This is the 5th time I try to install the program for my new cold Laser Jet Pro cm 1415 and installation reaches 99% it stucks where for avout 3-4 minutes and then I get the following message is displayed:

  "An installation operation took too long to run. It is a use of the fatal errorpreventing product. Restart your computer and run Setup again. "If the problem persits, please check the product site web fo your product."

  I even downloaded the installer from the web site, in case that the disc was defective, but still the same message.

  Any ideas? Anyone?

  There is no scrubber for this Laserjet Printer as there is for some printers inkjet and Laserjet printers. This means that you must to clean manually. Uninstall everything that deals with the printer's software. Once you did, go through the files on your hard drive and get rid of those dealing with the printer. Finally, use a record cleaning tool to clean any registry key that may be stored in the registry. Once you have all that done, try to reinstall it. Let me know what happens.

  I recently bought a printer and scanner LaserJetPro1132. I use Mac OS 10.8.3. Printing works fine, but when I try to scan I get the message "Could not connect to device" (in fact, I was able to analyze once or twice when I just bought the printer, but now this message came several weeks). This happens in the HP Director and other software with scanning possibilities. I reinstalled the driver from the CD, and when that didn't help, I downloaded a driver from the web.   Thank you once again. I didn't know that Twain drivers were no longer available. And I discovered that my printer appears twice in the IRIS, once with a driver is Twain and once without him. So now it works. Pity with Acrobat, however.

  I upgraded to a Lion for Snow Leopard and followed the instructions of HPs (uninstall, reinstall the driver for 10.6, Lion install update). Now HP Scan can't find my scanner (Scanjet 4370).

  OK, we can expect about resetting the printing system, but I got lucky with sweep because digitization will in fact through this system (note that it is called Print & Scan in the Lion system preferences).

  If you can make a copy to the front of the printer to scan works.  If you can't, it is broken.  Its a bit easy than this.

  Hello, have you tried reinstalling the printer with windows 10 driver? Or change the PCL 6, PCL 5 driver? I could try it first and see if that changes anything.

  I have a laptop HP ENVY 17r

  So I installed WIndows 8.1 the other day and every time I start up my laptop, I get this error:

  AccelerometerSt.Exe - system error

  The program cannot start because MSVCR110.dll is missing on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

  I then went and uninstalled the 3D Driveguard but then met another error:

  Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the Setup did not finish as expected. Contact your provider to support personal or package. Action RemoveMobilityCenterTile64, location: C:\WINDOWS\Installer\MSI8EB1.tmp, command: /uninstalltile

  I also tried to install the driver for 3D DriveGuard but when I did I came across another error:

  Unable to install the driver of HP 3D DriveGuard, the material of the accelerometer is not present or taken in charge on this unit. (Click OK to exit).

  I could really use help on how o solve this problem.

  Hello, I recently updated my SR5601UK to Windows 8.1, and he ceased to recognize the CD-ROM drive in Windows.
