Last call for PM 7600: flat screen?

Moving again and I absolutely refuse to give up the print of a 17 "CRT NEC monitor, but still hate to throw the Power Mac 7600/120. Would love to return to this world at least a few times more. Is it possible to get the 7600 to work with a flat screen?

That's a blast from my past. The graphics card in it has a DB-15. You used to be able to get a DB-15 to VGA. It came with 2 MB of VRAM and can be upgraded to 4 MB. Not sure about the size of a VGA screen, you can use with it. The other option would be to find a PCI graphics card that would go into your operating system and have more VRAM in there to run a bigger screen.

  • Need for a method to be called when the pop-up screen

    Hello

I have a requirement in my application. I have a screen from which I'm moving to screen B. When I Pop the screen B, I need a method that must be called in the screen has. Looks same as onActivityResult() in Android.

I am currently using onExpose(). But this method is called for all in the screen has. In the menu click or button also. Is there another way to do this?

    Help, please...

You have two options I can think immediately, which do not have to change anything in screen B.

    (1) use pushModal when you call B screen.  The statement immediately after the pushModal will be executed as soon as B screen is popped.  In general, I try to avoid the modal screens, but in this case, it's probably what I would do.

    (2) set an indicator immediately before you tap screen B.  Test the flag in onExposed().  If the flag is not set, then the onExposed was called for another reason and you can ignore it.  If the flag is set, then turn him off and process you want, knowing that the screen that has been exposed as screen B jumped.

    Either should work for you.

  • Resolution for screen wide flat screen is too small (already tried native resolution and dpi)

Short version of my problem is the following. I have a Dell Inspiron 530 w/Vista. I recently had to reinstall Vista to a deformation of the BONE. Now that everything is reinstalled and updated, everything is too small. Text is about a size 4, web pages appear with all focus on areas on each side w/empty space.

I already tried to change the resolution but other dimensions make the screen either too wide or too high, I tried to change the dpi to 120, which still has not resolved the smallness. I'm at my wits end, trying to figure out what the issue could be and would love other suggestions to try.

You can get in trouble with your device drivers, firmware and/or software.  Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you shoulddo at least for video cards and monitors and all you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.

In Internet Explorer, click Page in the toolbar of the order (if it is not there, do a right-click on the toolbar with the tabs, and then check the toolbar command to add) and access the Zoom and text size and see if the setting solves those problems with this program (I often accidentally hit the shortcut key causing that to happen and it always fixes it).

If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here.  A result allows us to narrow down the search for the cause.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

If none of this works, try to uninstall the flat screen widescreen (everything including configuration in display properties, pilots in devices, connections and any other partner Manager and reboot and see if your screen returns to normal.)  If so, something on the flat screen is the origin of the problem and you may need to consult the manual, installation instructions or whether, you can find about it (you already have the most recent files in the first paragraph above) and try to install again to see if the problem comes back.   If all goes well, the same resetting will solve the problem unless there is a problem of basic compatibilility.  What is the manufacturer, brand and model of the flat screen and how exactly is it connected (the precise connection device and methodology)? In my "new" G30-188 manual, there is a picture with a menu called Toshiba improved image for Geforce 7300 on page 8-31. It is described that you can change the settings for the video and the TV picture. But on my G30-188, which has the GeForce 7600 I Don t find any menu picture Toshiba development.

    Can anyone?

The 7300 in some machines and this section applies to this. There is no tool for improving basic windows for the 7600 (I have one in my Qosmio) but you can change the settings in the Qosmioplayer by going in the configuration screens (F1 or F2 I think.

I have a View Sonic LCD 24 inch flat screen and it has a blue tint, how can I solve this problem?

    Hello

He got this 1 day, or has it just begun?

If it was always this way, it could be a manufacturing defect or your advanced display settings may be incorrect. The latter can be determined according to the settings/Advanced/display/personalization in the control panel settings. See Customization here, it varies depending on the manufacturer, but you focus on controls that adjust color output.

If it has started, then it is possible the monitor had a malfunction. I put another monitor (if available) on the system. If the problem persists, then the fault is in the video card or display drivers. If it disappears, then the monitor can go wrong (you can try to adjust the settings on the screen itself to see if it has no effect). If it turns out to be the graphics card, I would like to firstly download and install a new set of drivers for the graphics card or the manufacturer of the system (the best for download, then uninstall the current set restart and install the new download).

Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.
