  I was looking for a patch of database being upgraded. After the database owner (enviroment) to supply file, I used the following command from $ORACLE_RDBMS_HOME/OPatch directory, command like $ OPatch lsinventory, he listed all the patches and updated patch also.

  'OPatch lsinventory' must list all patches applied to $RDBMS_ORACLE_HOME. For the level of database of the Group of hotfixes, you can use one of the instructions above to get the version. In addition, you can check to the BONE by running executable files (i.e. sqlplus, impdb... etc).

  And on request, I used-> -use $AD_TOP/sql/adutconf.sql , it is perfectly correct.

  But I can't go through of OAM,-diagnostics of Applications using, you can guide me. When I select plan of the site-diagnosis & repair - run diagnostic tests, it error. Say year error has occurred!

  Oracle 11.2.0.3 database
  
  Successfully, I have improved my 11.2.0.1.0 to 11.2.0.3.0 oracle database and the upgrade worked fine.
  I installed the 11.2.0.3.0 in a new oracle home.
  
  Now, my task is to install the latest version of the patches on the oracle group new home (make sure database up to date with the latest patches, in fact).
  I'm confused with the available documentations in my oracle support.
  CPU is now regarded as a subset of patch of the PSU, I think I must apply the last power supply only. Is this correct?
  Is there a step by step guide to apply the latest patch? I saw there are 5 PSUS out (plus late 11.2.0.3.5), do I have to apply each of them or just the final?
  
  Please give me the latest available patches/patch(Still not clear) installation guide group and links to download latest patch available.

  11.2.0.3 came out not so long ago, so next round of patch can be several months.

  10.2.0.4 and 10.2.0.5 are patchsets, easy to find under "latest Patchsets' on MOS. normally the Group of 'straight' patches is the latest, i.e. 10.2.0.5.

  Just check [OLAP certification matrix | http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bi/olap/collateral/olap_certification.html] know the patches recommended for OLAP.

  I think you can not apply a patch to access cube through addin another BI spreadsheet that just to install the add-in of the worksheet. This addin works very well with 10.2.0.2 until 10.2.0.4 versions DB. 10.2.0.1 DB version not recommended is therefore never checked against that.

  I need to connect to 8i (8.1.6) database by using a database: 10 x e.
  Or connect to the database: 10 x e through 8i, via dblink.
  
  Message is:
  
  ORA-03134: connections to this version of the server are no longer supported.
  Cause: An attempt was made to connect to an Oracle of the old version server.
  
  I realized that I need either 8.1.7.4 client or the same group of patches for Oracle 8.1.6

  The base for products Essbase version is 11.1.2.2.100, so you will already be at this level.

  You should be able to apply 16171601 or 16674524,.103 must contain previous patches.

  Central units have been renamed to SPU (updated Security Patch). In general, you should apply the patches of PSU since they contain not only the SPUs, but also other patches. PL note that when you apply a power supply, you must continue to apply power supplies - you cannot switch between the PSU and CPU/SPUs application.
