  AutoCAD 2002 is built for the desktop environment Microsoft® Windows®, including Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 98, Windows ME, and Windows NT® 4.0.

  Versions the most recent as AutoCAD 2010 are supported in Windows 7.

  However, backward compatibility in Windows 7 is a great feature that allows applications designed for older versions of Windows to work perfectly under Windows 7.

  Note: There is no guarantee this will to autocad 2002 with Windows 7 in compatibility mode.
  You can always try it on your computer.

  To configure the compatibility mode for an application

  Dell support site where you downloaded the utility has a link to download & installation instructions.  Who can provide some useful pointers.

  The last time I installed this utility it had separate steps, but I don't know what stage you had problems to:

  1 download the file [probably only about 1 MB]

  2 run downloaded file - one archive self-extracting who writes its content in C:\dell\drivers\R289543\ [version number may be different for your] [probably only about 1.7 MB]

  3 run C:\dell\drivers\R289543\ content that downloads just the full installation file on their site [about 30 MB, that I can remember but has not written down at the time].

  4. the full installation file, then automatically runs.

  I think the problem is the Vista driver expired that doesn t work 100% correctly on Windows 7

  As much as I know Satellite A300, which supports Windows 7, is also equipped with Texas Instruments card reader, or at least the pilot is also from the same company with respect to the Satellite A200.

  In your case, I would try this driver, I hope it works! :)

  Why not?! You will be able to install XP on Qosmio but perhaps you cannot use some features of Qosmio due to the XP drivers are not available.

  However this does rest not correct the prolbem completely! The Touschreen works but not the accelorometer. I hope HP suport can provide some real suport at some point and release drivers that make accelometer works in windows 10.
