  The valid oracle package is available for Oracle Linux, RHEL not. Oracle-validated packages will fire the installation of the required packages and also configure your account settings and the oracle kernel.

  Yes, you must install OBIEE on both boxes. However, you will need to a part of the cluster with a box including the cluster controller running BI servers on both boxes. You can use the NAS to store the global cache.

  You can not install 3.0 AIA on SOA Suite 10 g since AIA 3.0 operates on FCC even components that cannot be deployed on SOA Suite 10 g. The domain name that should AIA 3.0 installation is the domain name of the weblogic server that has no equivalent in Oracle Application server, and port is the port of the weblogic admin server not opmn ask port.

  It is possible, that there is a certificate problem.  XP SP2 does not support the latest cryptographic technology necessary to sign the binary installers.  SP3 has this support. XP is no longer supported by Microsoft, and I do not know if you will be able to find an installation of SP3.

  I try to install it to run application 11g BPM.

  Try running the setup in the disk1/install/win(32/64) folder and then provide the path to the jdk "C:\Program Files\java\jdk1.7.0_45"

  However, what seems actually being installed, is the GNU R 3.2.3 and not DSB. This is the Welcome screen:

  EDIT: I think I have found the issue: in the documentation section, I mentioned above (step 4), it is written:

  We used the second option here; read the fine print above, I suppose that, in this case, yum install the most recent version of the GNU R available in the repository and no DSB (for which we should have used the first option).

  If anyone can confirm this?

  If this is the case, may I ask that a notice be added as an option in step 4 of the documentation above, warning the user that, with the second option, GNU R will be installed instead of the DSB - these tasks are normally performed by system administrators, who are not necessarily aware of these subtle differences, and they can easily (and quite understandable) go to the "most recent" version if not informed accordingly

  There is no public yum repository of Oracle R - 3.2.3. You can see by going to the Oracle Linux 7 addons repository directory:

  Oracle 7 Linux (x86_64) Addons | Oracle, Software. Material. All.

  The latest version, R - 3.2.0, is installed when installing yum command R.x86_64 is executed.

  My guess is that you have another yum repository in /etc/yum.repos.d that pulls in R - 3.2.3 or maybe R - 3.2.3 was already installed on the system.

  Hey, the most recent Flash Installer immediately crashes with a bus error when I try to launch it. I don't know how to solve this problem outside waiting for the automatic update and see if that fixes the problem. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem, or how report a bug?

  I had the installer on this machine with 10.6, but I never downloaded this manually from Adobe. An Adobe apeared pop up when I was using the browser to view flash content (television network), telling me that a new version is available. I put in place of Flash preferences to enable automatic updates, but it seems to somehow always suggest me to do with this pop-up window instead.

  I think remember that the automatic update is delayed by a few days, so I usually go for the install on the pop-up button.
