Launch of TMS 14.2 error, TMSPE 1.1, Smart Scheduler

Hello

I run a laboratory for a client in which I should test Smart Scheduler, but I can't it launched. I have the tmsagent/cann access portal. I can click on the button home th and the settings button. I can access findme configuration but Planner smart would not launch with an error message, otherwise, it would probably be a java problem (from what I've read in the forums and guides). the message is

There was a problem connecting to the server scheduler: could not send message.

No idea what this message is linked to?

Indeed, it is a bug. Unfortunately I do not have a reference of bug for you right now. Once I have one, I'll let you know.

The problem comes from different server configurations regarding the use of the address of loopback... which means in this case, we work, they do not use the loopback address on their server. For example and looking at the IIS logs and when the loopback address is used, you should see something like the following on the SS:

2013-05-28 09:03:25 POST /tms/external/booking/bookingservice.asmx 127.0.0.1 -------127.0.0.1 TMSScheduler 200 0 0 31

In the case of the customer, they see the following:

2013-05-29 15:50:48 192.168.x.x POST /tms/external/booking/bookingservice.asmx - 443-192.168.x.x TMSScheduler 200 0 0 31

Note the return of the local IP address compared to the loopback address.

In your case, I'd take a peek in the IIS log after you throw the SS error... and see if it's what you see.  If Yes, then it is the same problem and this is the problem we are fixing... which means that we will check not only for the loopback address, but the local IP address as well.

    Looking at the log you've posted, I found another discussion, where it referred to an SQL account issue, they also had the same error in their paper as you.  Check the account used to connect to the TMSPE database is correct and is able to connect, this can be done using the tools of TMS on the server.

    Run the CC cleaning tool: use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems

    Navigate to the OOBE folder.

    Rename the file opm.db in opm_old.db

  • TMS Smart Scheduler - what can you schedule and dial a number?

    Hi Forum,

    I think TMS 13.2.1 at 14.3 TMS with TMSPE 1.1 reclassification.  However, I saw that the 'old' web scheduler has been replaced by the new smart sceduler.

    You can plan the new smart Scheduler? It seems that you can only program calls to numbers in directories?  You can schedule dial calls to:

    Directory movi/Jabber?

    External SIP/h.323

    External ISDN?

    What can't the new smart Scheduler compared to the 'old web Scheduler '?

    Yes, at this time, you can add managed by TMS systems (those that are added to the system > Navigator) when planning through Smart Scheduler.

    Cisco has already opened a feature request for the opportunity to add directories or call the participants in the smart Scheduler interface, but I cannot confirm if Cisco really wants to develop or when it will be available. It's the already opened by Adam feature request:

    A solution would be to add your external endpoint as a 'room' to TMS under system > Navigator, so that they will appear on Smart Scheduler, however, systems added as piece takes a license system just like a common system managed by TMS. So, before you follow this workaround solution, make sure that you have licenses enough for that.

    Can my personal thing, if you really need schedule the call out participating, so I suggest you use common reservation interface, at least up to the Cisco enhance Smart Scheduler.

    In addition, to raise this feature request you, your local Cisco representative so that they can help you to climb this feature in Cisco request to try and get priority on this point, it is useful. More customers are asking for the same thing, more Cisco considers that the feature request.

  • Zone TMS Smart Scheduler

    Hello everyone,

    where the smart Scheduler Gets the time zone? I realized that I have configured under "TMS > administration tools > user management > users.

    "(UTC + 01:00) Amsterdam, Berlin, Bern, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna" as time zone but when I connect in a Smart Scheduler and audit "date and time" in the settings it shows "(UTC + 01:00) Belgrade, Bratislava, Budapest, Ljubljana, Prague. The email invitation and the ics calendar invitation I receive after booking also see the wrong time zone.

    Tested woth TMS 14.2 and 14.3. Same effect on both versions.

  • TMS Smart Scheduler by default time change

    Is there a way to mass change the default time in the smart Scheduler of TMS or must it be done individually by users? IE; the date format, that everyone has in their account settings.

    I don't think it's possible, at least I have not found a way to do it, and it isn't docuemented as something that can be done.  Probably best to reach out to your Cisco account manager and see if they could submit a feature request to allow control increased the admin user accounts.

  • Hide portals TMS (Smart Scheduler or FindMe) Options

    What determines which of two Smart Scheduler and FindMe options in the TMS portal users can see?  I had not connected with a user who has absolutely no permissions set within TMS, and they could see Smart Scheduler, however it wrong on when I clicked it.  Is there a way to hide the smart Planner and only show FindMe or choose what users can see two options?

    I don't think it's possible. All users can see both, but (from TMS 14.3.2) only users that are part of a group that has

    'Booking'-> 'Misc'-> 'Booking' permissions in TMS can plan actually by using Smart Scheduler.

  • Cisco TMS version "No error HTTP 401 response code" TMS 14.2.2 VCS &. 7.2.1

    In a separate post, I have something related to this, but I would like an answer by the morning when I wake up so I just made a new post.

    So, I have synced up my TMS with my VCS and I can now click the Configuration tab and I was informed by a Cisco Expert here disable TLS and checking name of certificate and the crowd to get rid of the "error of HTTPS response" I had. I did a full synchronization on the TMS and VCS and now I have a message "error Code 401 HTTP response '. I unfortunately didn't write the exact words he said in red because I'm at home now to write this post and like a fool I did not write it.

    However, I think this has something to do with the verification of the user? Isn't it?

    I'm out of the city at Cisco Live, but a quick search of the forums, I found http-exception-after-migrating-tms-tmspe, might be something to look at.  It is also a documented bug, CSCue48378.

    How long did you all use TMSPE, he has already worked before all the recent questions you had?

    I had the same problem as you, improved TMS to 14.6 and then tried to update TMSPE to 1.4.  One thing I did and it solved my problem is to reboot the server after that updated MSDS to level, before attempting to upgrade TMSPE.

    The sequence is called from a Labview-OperatorInterface.
    In a step that run 100 times before without problem I receive all of a sudden the error message:

    ErrorMessage: Error running substep 'run '. Unable to launch the "LabVIEW.Application" ActiveX automation server [error Code:-18001]

    After a restart of the software al NOR-everything works normally again.
    What is this error, and what should I do with it?
    Should I ignore the error and try to execute the step again or not this average tht the ActiveX server has been lost forever?
    How can this problem occur?

    Solved by adobe support - I'm on windows and if you "run as Administrator" that solved the problem.  You can make that permanent by right-clicking on the shortcut, select "Properties", select the Properties tab and check "run this program as an administrator". I get a box now when I open AE saying: "do you want to allow this application to make changes to your PC" but can live with.
