• Opera browser problems: OCD does not in expansion & search error display

  In the generated WebHelp project, my table of contents (TOC) does not develop in the Opera browser.  No matter if I click on the + sign next to my subjects or the text of the topic, the table of contents does not extend.

  Also, when I select the tab/link search in my outings, a mistake is listed where the results would be shown, which States, "error: failed to initialize the database."

  I could not find suggestions in the documentation for RoboHelp or on the forum, so I have no idea where to start.  I know that these problems do not exist in Explorer, Chrome, Safari or Firefox.  Any suggestions you have would be most useful.

  Opera is not a supported browser. If the aid works otherwise OK in IE, FF, and Safari, it maybe not much you can do about it.

• Search error highlighting and the fall of text

  I used the trick of Peter Grainge that highlights the text in the search results. However, now the scrolling text / stretch does not work. No errors are generated, the text appears not just.
  
  I use RoboHelp 6 and generating webhelp.

  Import of Word and FrameMaker documents caused a confrontation between the drop-down list text and research highlighting the thing.

  I don't know why, but the deletion of the following meta tag to solve the problem. All the other meta tags can left as is. This is easily achievable with a multi Find and Replace the program.

  I am trying to connect to an ODI of OID LDAP server.
  I tried then to what is said in Re: connect to Oracle EPM Shared Services Open LDAP , without success.
  
  The connection I'm getting is the url link jdbc:snps:ldap? ldap_url = ldap://minos.administracion.com:389 / & ldap_basedn = cn = com & ldap_password = bSyX48xfguzj64BKZrllp
  using com.sunopsis.ldap.jdbc.driver.SnpsLdapDriver.
  
  I'm getting "LDAP: error code 53. I think that the problem is the password is not encrypted correctly, but I don't have any idea of how I should do.
  I tried without encryption (simple text), encryption, MD5, SHA1, and through 'agent code < pass >', but nothing.
  Any ideas?

• Google search error

  Over the last few days several whenever I try to use yahoo or google search engine, I get a message "this connection is untrusted". I tried refreshing firefox and it does not matter it still does the same thing. I have attached a screenshot showing this. I have Firefox 39.0.3. Can someone help me please?   I did have to go through all these steps listed in this article, but the certificate was saved and then I went to the options of FF and makes google the search engine and everything works. Thanks a bunch for the help and I will favorite cela in case it happens again.

  I have a bit of an emergency situation on the Research of Robohelp.  When I compile my project, the search panel displays a random list of letters and words, and there is no input field (perhaps javascript related?).  The index is also defective.  I only encounter this problem on one of my projects.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this greatly affected my schedule.  Thank you very much.

• LDAP contacts and photos for jabber, ipad, iphone, and Android does not

  I have been and get off this forum and google after all settings and configurations, but I do not receive my ldap directory in sync with my mobile devices, which means, I do not see their photos or any contact details I can IM only my contacts.

  My ipad and iphone from the newspapers, I get the following error.

  My file config.xml - jabber for Jabber 4 Windows photos everything works 100%.

  I have the UC Services configured and added to my end user.

  I have the LDAP Setup on my devices TCT, tab and BOT with no luck.

  What I'm missing or doing wrong? Why it works 100% for J4W but not my mobile clients.

  This seems to be a problem, I met several times, where AD would send a reference instead of the response that the client must follow. But I don't see any option to allow removal with Active Directory. Is there a way around this?

  I found a work around for the problem:

  The query is successful when you use the ports for the Active Directory Global catalog.

  The ports are:

  • 3268 (without encryption)

  or

  • 3269 (with SSL)

  Disadvantage: You can't just use your do domain name address all the domain controller, you must specify one with its host name.
