Leap day scam?

Then, I got an email from app store (at) News (dot) itunes (dot) com with the subject, free 'big five Apps - February 29 only.' The link led me to the iTunes download page. So, I opened iTunes and tested on... Clicked on buy and was charged. It seems that the email came with the same address my other emails on AppStore, so I don't know what is happening. I asked for a refund, but I don't know if anyone else has got his email.

There are 5 free apps, today only, and all are free. You find the list of leap year on the page of the App Store.

  • How to get a date to the timestamp of a file XML format

    Hello

I'm trying to get a date from an external XML file. My XML file looks like this:

        8.6.1

            Date of birth
            31/03/1983

I can get the system to retrieve the correct XML element that shows the nested and elements , but I have no way to retrieve correctly the date. It seems as if she interprets my date seconds since 1904. I try to keep the "readable" for the end user XML, so it is important to keep this date in standard U.S. date format. I eventually uses this date to calculate the age of something. I labour code to subtract a timestamp in the format of the date to the current date and time, but I can't access it when I get back from XML.

Starting from XML schema, it looks like the timestamp element requires a cluster... but there is no documentation on what to spend. Any ideas how to get back an XML date in this format in a simple and clean?

    Here's my current VI:

Quick Tip on "bundle by name.  You don't need to consolidate all these constants where the values correspond to what is the constant of cluster at the top.  The cluster constant defines the data structure and the starting values.  Simply group the values for specific change items.

Example of tone would be a bit cleaner.  Although the format string should use a capital T.

As always with dealing with the time, complications could arise due to dealing with time zones and leap years.  Zones shouldn't matter for the calculation of the years since you are rounded up to years.  Although you probably want to round down rather than round at most closely. (I forgot this part in my example).  The problem with leap years when you would be only in a certain number of days of the anniversary, he would round up the age.  The number of rounded days would depend on how much on leap days that nobody has seen in their lifetime.

  • Desktop calendar printing go wild

My system has been stable for a while: Tungsten E2 with Garnet 5.4.7, Palm Desktop 6.2.2 Win7Pro, BlueTooth for HotSynching, Canon MX860 all-in-one printer.  Each month, I print the calendar (sorry, I mean Agenda) for the current and next month, in format.  (My printer prints these two sides of the same sheet of paper, but this does not affect the problem).

This month, I am trying to print in February and March 2011.  Looking at the preview of the printer function, I can see a February calendar, a calendar of March, and then literally thousands of other February pages, like the little box that Desktop uses to show progress also reverses by the thousands (usually, I hit the button "Cancel printing" all about 5000 + pages, without stop sign).

If I want to print February, fine; March, fine; January and February, fine; March and April, fine; February and March in the format, very good list.  February and March 2009, fine.  February and March 2010 or 2011 month format - zillions of pages (but I'm sure that it happened last year!- but I couldn't then head Desktop 6.2.2).  Landscape or Portrait, single or double-sided, no difference.

Any ideas?  Can anyone else reproduce this problem?  Maybe some sort of fake glitch Leap Day?  Any suggestion or help much appreciated.

I have re-installed Desktop a couple of times - no improvement.  I had the bright idea that if I get HotSync Outlook Update, I could print it from there, rather than leave office.  Hah-"which, you have one of these versions of the new mode of Outlook, after 2003?  I don't know anything about! »

So on the last day of February 2011 I try to print my two months of office (affect?), and it works great - just two pages I wanted.

For decades, when I started programming, people used to talk about the POTM software, programs which acted weird according to the Phase of the moon.  Or sometimes, it has been blamed on little decay or cosmic rays.  All I know is that for most of February Desktop Calendar Printing was full, and then it was OK.  Babbage knows...  (My personal theory is that there is some glitch in February Leap Day or absence of treatment.)

In any case, I was able to put the price of an Android phone or an iPod Touch for a while and stick with the old reliable E2.

  • How can you change the time of database (Sysdate) without changing the hour of the OS?

    I saw the archived post:

"How can I change the date/time data (Sysdate) without changing the date of the OS? to https://community.oracle.com/message/3471626#3471626 "" "" "

This post does not have a good answer unfortunately and as we have problems similar change of system clock where urgent need to do some future and passed the test of logic date/time, I thought it would be to try again. Anyone know how we could accomplish this change of date/time of database without changing the clock system of the OS?

    Thank you

    Charles

Time Machine by Solution-Soft (Time Machine® |) Virtual clock for Time Shift and Application tests) provides a solution to this problem by using virtual clocks to specified users or PIDs and intercepts calls to the OS providing system clock is the case of a virtual clock.  So if a virtual clock set for 022823592016 for Oracle user, this OS user would see this date in every process owned and all connections to a DB owned instance would return a date and time just before the leap day of "systimestamp select from dual;"  There is a framework of Time Machine for Oracle on the market of the Oracle Cloud which is much more granular than this example and allows the travel time of the specific Oracle connections per user, host, or the name of the JDBC program.   Check here: https://cloud.oracle.com/marketplace/listing/4382882

  • Wrong date. A day off. Does not take into account leap years.

We don't want the date on my iMac. It is a day of rest. On March 3, it shows March 2. Of course, it didn't take leap years into account. When I tried to change it after you have unlocked the date/time, he wouldn't let me to change the date. It is automatically defined under Apple Americas/U.S. (time.apple.com site), but the automatic setting is false. How do override us the auto setting or have them repaired?

  • interval + "1" [year | month | day] does not take into account leap years?

    Hi all

The Version of database: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.5.0 - 64bi
    Database version: PL/SQL Release 10.2.0.5.0 - Production

I just realized that the function of the interval is not account of leap years.
    SQL> select to_date('29-02-2008','dd-mm-yyyy') + interval '1' year
      2    from dual;
    select to_date('29-02-2008','dd-mm-yyyy') + interval '1' year
                                          *
    ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01839: date not valid for month specified
I looked through the documentation as much as I can and could find no mention of this.

If I want to add a year to date, I have to calculate the number of days or do something like incrementing only the part of the year and then manually check that it does not fall on February 29 if it is not a leap year manually?

    Edit:

just to clarify, day and minute seem to work for example but do not have month and year:
    SQL> select to_date('28-02-2009','dd-mm-yyyy') + interval '1' day
      2    from dual;

    Hello

It is true; in the INTERVAL arithmetic + x (or) d - x, where x is the months or years, the result will be the same day of the month as d. If this date does not exist, then you will get an error
    Another example is:

    SQL> SELECT  DATE '2011-03-31' + INTERVAL '1' MONTH  FROM dual;
SELECT DATE '2011-03-31' + INTERVAL '1' MONTH FROM dual
                              *
    ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01839: date not valid for month specified

To avoid triggering an error, use ADD_MONTHS and/or arithmetic DATE instead.

  • I got a message on a game saying 8.0.1 update new version for 10 gems but when I click on about Firefox it says his day but version is 8.0 I should ignore the message as it may be a scam or a virus?

    I need not any virus

There is a version Firefox 8.0.1, but always download Firefox only on the site of Mozilla to be certain that you found a copy of "own."

The update for Firefox 8.0.1 is not "pushed" for Windows users. It is not available using the help > about Firefox > check updates for Windows users. Firefox 8.0.1 was a major problem for users of Java with OSX (Mac); There was also a problem for a small number of third-party Windows users with some add-ons.

You can download the full installer on the link below, save it to your desktop, close Firefox after downloading (Firefox button/file > Exit), run the Setup program.

  • Scam of Remoting. What they see?

So I fell for the scam of tech support, but my mom ended the call when they wanted $100. I just followed the instructions that the guy on the phone told me after I called them when I saw a pop up alert. I allowed the guy remotely to MacBook Air from my mother, who has her iCloud connected to it. A day after the remote access, my mother went to his notes on his iPhone and I saw that she had only three left instead of eighteen she had of the scam. I wanted to know if they were able to access his notes that are on her iCloud without knowing me. She has credit card information notes. Also, is it possible for them to continue access to distance even after closing of logmein?

  • Update Service Apple emails (scam?)

    Hi guys!

I just wanted to see if someone else has to do these emails lately, and I'm curious to know if they are a scam. I have not said or done anything with them because they are not legitimate for me. I'm 3 in total, including one to an email address that I don't even have an Apple ID, attached to. They are all slightly different, but they usually all say the same thing (example below with correct grammar, punctuation, writing, etc.):

    iCloud ID - censored

It's the last observation to inform you that as of 02 - Sep - 2016 you have not yet updated your iCloud ID information. According to modulation "Know your Customer (kyc)" Apple is required by standards to implement a validation of your information, fault what will result in saving of your Apple ID in the next three days. (of course, going on 3 days and I still have access to my Apple ID)

Please go to the > >

Check your ID iTunes > (clickable link) (the second email says 'Check your iCloud ID' here; the third email to the email address that has no Apple ID is "check your ID iTunes ')

To intersperse the cessation of your Apple & iCloud, please continue your Apple ID profile before the scheduled time of deletion.

Petition of resolution of Validation: (9 numbers, clickable link)

    With respect,

    Resource cloud (or Cloud operations)

Then, there is a black box at the bottom of the email that says "the image you requested does not exist or is no longer available. imgur.com.

There are other clickable links in the bottom, like 'My Apple ID', 'Support', 'Privacy Policy'... then there Copyright 2016 iTunes Sarl 31-33, street Sainte Zithe L-2763 Luxembourg all rights reserved.

I dunno guys... it seems shady to me. No matter which otherwise get something similar, or know what it is? Thanks in advance!

  • Found lost iPhone scam

My daughter dropped her Iphone earlier. The phone is locked with a 4 digit code.

The sim card and the phone (its IMEI) reported stolen and are blocked by the operator.

A few weeks back it started to receive text messages that her lost phone had been found and she was invited to follow a link. A link that leads to a phishing site. She didn't click here.

These days she's been doing e-mail messages saying the same thing: his lost phone have found strange links.

Text messages, I can understand because they can found his phone number of the sim card (she got a new sim card to the operator using the same number today), but how can they know his email? His AppleID?

It makes me really worried if they managed to get to the phone somehow.

The phone as reported as stolen to the Police

The phone is blocked and locked by the operator

The phone has been defined as lost and we also click content thingie erase icloud (not sure that it worked well)

We changed all the passwords (AppleID, e-mail, etc.)

The phone has been removed completely to iCloud

Is there something else we should / can do? Can stop us these scam messages to enter?

If, during the period between when the phone has been lost/stolen and you reported, the unbelievers could use Siri to find information. If Siri were not off on the lock screen, what they should have done is call Siri and ask the phone belonged to. If your daughter kept its own information of contact in the phone, as do many people, they could have accessed.

It seems that if you took all the right steps. There is really no way to prevent people to continue to send you emails scam. Treat them as you would any other spam.

    Good luck.
