Leaves of telepresence RRA

Hi, I'm trying to find an excel spreadsheet that will show me the exact requirements for RRA'ing some telepresence systems.

Need one of a series of telepresence 3000 for now. Need a form that gives exact measurements etc power supply.

I have a Cisco TelePresence Fundamentals book, but can be difficult to find exact specifications.

  • Telepresence 8 button pairing with the SX20

Hello one trying to match an 8 touch screen with the SX20 telepresence, in certain moment its request for a user name and password to connect with the SX20, what is this user and the password?

    Concerning

    Leonardo Santana

According to the Touch 8 Installation Guide (page 4), it is the login admin for your codec.

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/touch/installation_guide/touch_for_c-series_installation_sheet_for_web.PDF

Did you change the account or the password admin since installing the SX20?  A way to test is to try to log into the SX20 with username admin and leave the password empty.  If you are able to connect with a password blank or empty, that no password has been defined yet, I advise you to define for this purpose.  If you try to connect and get connection failed with empty or empty, password a password has been set on the admin account.  You may need to consult someone if you don't know.

    Someone did the 642-185 TP?

Is the book and SRND guide sufficient?

Kevin's book is a must for sure, book comprising part of the SRND, then Yes, both are good materials.

There are two or three Traning materials in Cisco cert web page (101 video and telepresence troubleshooting)

I suggest you to check hardware for all our units installation docs and training of the RRA.

  • Cisco telepresence video Communication Server (VCS) - compatibility CTX X8.1.1?

The Cisco TelePresence Exchange System compatibility matrix (CTX) does not cover version of VCS X8.1.1 (to solve the problem of software). Version X7.2 is recommended and supported which is affected by "heartbleed".

X8.1.1 compatibility is tested by Cisco and the updated matrix?

In fact we run CTX v1.3 with VCS X7.2 and solve the problem of software without leaving the support. What is the recommendation of Cisco?

    Kind regards

    C.Opwis

You could improve your VCS to X7.2.3 which includes a fix for Heartbleed.

  • Building a wall is not that the option is RRA form offline to TX9200

I work for the TX9200 RRA form offline. The construction of the wall is "Triple layer of gypsum board 5/8 on metal poles / with insulation" but it isn't on the menu drop-down manual, so can select the option 'other '. Is this a problem for the RRA online?

    Hi Tak,

Why do you need to complete this form? Starting April 15, 2013, the EOA (experience and insurance of the order) processes are more required for Cisco telepresence systems imersive, such as CTS 3010, 3210, TX9000 and TX9200.

Therefore, you need not submit any form of Cisco in order to validate your room, which includes forms PHR, ARR, IR and CTX. The room and syntactic network provided by Cisco are still strongly recommended, but you are not required to submit any information to Cisco. Cisco partners are responsible for ensuring that telepresence systems are implemented according to what suggests the Cisco.

If you are a Cisco partner, make sure that your deployment is performed according to the recommendation of Cisco.

It's the official announce of the disappearance of the EOA process (you must be a Cisco partner to access the link, if you do not, contact your Cisco representative):

    I hope this helps.

  • Telepresence news

We have the solution of Cisco telepresence into place for about 1 year.  We have a VCS/VCSe/MCU/TMS13.1.2 (old Yes, but we're the upgrade that we have just had our set smartnet at level.  "We were without him a little).

We are experiencing a weird problem with units not being not to place calls after a certain situation (we don't know what causes).

Basically, we get an error message saying that we cannot deliver to the host, but the units themselves, we are able to ping and traceroute, and VCS.

A reboot seems to fix the problem, but I don't think it's practical.  October I'll finally take a class to get a better understanding, but looking for help that TACS cannot understand it or the assigned tech cannot.

03/09/2013-09:55:45 number connection error Source:, number of Destination: h323:172.xxx.xxx.xxx, Code of Cause: no route to the destination

The devices can ping each other and a traceroute works from endpoints and vcs/vcse/tms

IN THE LOGS I SAW CALL REECTED WITH A UNKNOWN REASON CODE RESPONSDE

Also, what causes a call to be rejected with a reason

    Now I got it.  =)

Well, if record you at TMS as a room, you leave all the option H323 in white, so that the only SIP information will be imported in the telephone directory. In addition, you can completely disable H323 scheduling for the system, so only one SIP will be used.

It is an example that should work fine:

Do not configure not any H323 field, then you will be able to have directories in TMS for the system with only the information of SIP. Then, when users dial tactile device using phone book, only the SIP URI will be used, so you won't have to dial IP H323 and you have the call is routed to the VCS highway.

    I hope this helps.

If it solves your problem, please, mark your topic as replied.   =)

  • Motion of telepresence

I'm running a DX-650 with Anyconnect VPN Cisco is an ASA. From there on, the DX-650 records with CUCM. Call of the DX-650 in a telepresence EX-90.

Calls in the House are fine. Perfect, in fact. However, by the VPN, they are sporadic. I mean by uneven, sometimes they work great. When they're not working, it's a weird instance. This is what happens:

The video/audio stream will freeze on the movement. I had a colleague to stand out from the image on the EX-90. The audio and the video worked perfectly. As soon as he came into the video, the video and audio streams have frozen. I had sitting them in front of the EX-90 and does not move (answer on the EX-90). The audio and the video worked perfectly until I asked him to go. The audio and video streams were once again frozen. I have never seen it before.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    -Matt

Sniff the call on both sides to verify if the ASA does not close the support channels (it is UDP, you must check if it is a side of leaves one arrives to the other) and also check the signage on CUCM using RTMT.

Try to ping extended from the FORMER to the DX to check if the ping will have some impact.

If your VPN connection will balance the load, perhaps, is balanced by package a this can lead to call disruption.

  • The implications of Cisco Telepresence server operation mode

I have a CISCO Telepresence server that is currently running in mode managed locally, if change you it remotely and add it to my TMS, will I lose all my permament locally created conference rooms? (be they get deleted?)

    Thank you!

HI Douglas.  TS blade didn't need to be mode remotely managed so that it can be managed by TMS.  This mode is used for the management as a conductor Telepresense.

When it was presented, was 3.0 TS.

    Release notes:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/infrastructure/TS/release_note/Cisco_Telepresence_Server_Release_Notes_3-0_2-24.PDF

Page 2 pretty much answer your questions here.

If your not using a conductor or by using your own program API to use TS in this mode, its better to leave behind in managed mode and add the system to MSD and leave it that way.  This is the normal operating mode if you use the TMS.  Let in managed mode locally, add it to the TMS and you can book etc. against it using TMS meetings.  If automatic discovery is enabled in TMS, permanent meetings should appear in the CCC.

    I hope this helps.

  • Why the Directions leave on Watch?

The route leaves automatically on my Apple Watch when I arrived at my destination before watch OS 3. I'm used to this behavior is often a lot of time before I use my watch again once and find that direction are still running and using power.

Is there a setting or a new preference to change this behavior in the way that it used to be?

Why would you want directions to stay on the alert after you arrive and you leave the indications on the iPhone?

    Hello

To stop your watch directions: open the Maps app on your watch > firmly press the display > press on for policy decisions.

  • Leaving a Macbook Pro to load

Hi, I want to know if leaving my Macbook Pro (13 inch, retina end 2015) plugged adapter when it is already fully charged can damage the battery and shorten its life. Is it true that when the battery is fully charged and the Macbook is open, it turns to use alternating current only from the adapter and the battery remains inactive?

the battery will draw when it takes, it is not harmful to keep your laptop plugged in at full load as long as you don't store your mac. Periodically, you can use the laptop without the power adapter but do not allow the computer to fully discharge when using it, if you can help it.
