Left hinge of the m6 between HP laptop separates housing

Hello

I have the same problem that a few people have reported.  When I raise the screen, the left hinge area is at the origin of the case separate in this corner.  Can someone please?

Thank you.

Hello

Hinges should probably be replaced. Just call HP Support and they should be able to give you options depending on whether the laptop is still under warranty or out of warranty repair.

  • The Pavilion g6-2123us left hinge pulling the bezel!

Hello. My daughter about 2-3 years-old HP Pavilion g6-2123us has a problem with the left hinge. The support is pulling loose from the lower left corner of the lcd screen and the cracking of the collar. Did some research, it seems similar to problems left hinge that has occurred with the HP DV 9000 and the Pavilion dv7-4070us series.

While the unit was under warranty, we sent it in for repair of hinge, which was covered - so this is the second time in the life of the laptop a two-or-three-year-old who broke the hinges. Needless to say, I'm not impressed by the quality of this laptop case/hinges. (It works well otherwise!). Although the warranty has expired, I hope that customer service can make something low-cost or free given that this seems to be a serious design flaw. (I have some experience with electronic repair and I saw coins on ebay, etc., but I really hope HP can intervene at the plate!)

Thank you! Anyone has the info / similar problems with this model?

  • How can I turn off the sync between my laptop, the Tablet and smartphone?

Whenever I have delete emails from my Tablet (Android RCA), it also suppresses these same emails from my laptop. I know there is a synchronization problem, but I can't well a way to change the settings. Can anyone help?

Why is it a problem? It's normal. It is IMAP to work, which allows each of your devices see the same repository of email, on your ISP server. Delete a message and it has disappeared, deleted from the server so it disappears from all other devices.

If you want to take the traffic messages, but want to keep for future reference, I suggest that move you to a folder under the Local Folders account in Thunderbird.

Android devices are usually quite selective about what email they download, so you do not necessarily have a full copy of everything stored on the server as in your phone or tablet. Note the time when you access a message or a folder that you have not looked for some older time. It is almost certainly being downloaded on demand.

The alternative is to use POP, where each device e-mail client makes its own local private copy. It will also delete the original from the server, unless your e-mail client offers you a place to leave a copy. So carefully, you might have a local copy on a phone or table and delete might be organized does not affect the server. I say "carefully" because the default behavior of Thunderbird is to remove copies of the server when the local copy is deleted. I can't speak for other email clients how to handle this situation. And some do not support POP access. It is not a good fit in the memory limited on portable devices.

But consider; If all your equipment to leave messages on the server, how do you stop it just things accumulate indefinitely? You will need to either visit the webpage from the server in time to maintain, or designate one of your computers as the 'master' and use it to remove the copies of server.

  • Please describe the difference between a laptop computer and a laptop computer.

I am looking for a new laptop, but many computers laptops HP possible are called laptops. Why? Is there a difference in functionality, features or options that make laptops instead of laptops?

    Hello

Laptops and notebooks are the same. We used to call them laptops because we could put on our tours to work with. But now we call them laptops because not a lot of people put them on their knees, especially if you're wearing a mini skirt, it would burn your towers.

    Hope it makes sense.

    Hello

My laptop HP Envy 15t broken left hinge and the left corner is cracked and bulging. The laptop has not declined or fell. When I open and close the laptop the hinge moves and then separate tiny capitalization. The tiny screw are falling and I'm not able to close and open the laptop properly. The warranty has expired on this laptop. Help, please.

    Thank you in advance.

    @Albert5

The question of the hinge on the Evny of HP is well known to HP, and yet they refuse to do much, if anything, to this subject.  If you are in warranty, they will typically set for free, no questions asked.  Out of warranty, however, it's like a completely different society.  They will be responsible of very varying amounts, from $130 to $300 to fix their own design flaw.   Here is a link to a long thread that I started to update others on the issue and my relationship with HP:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-hardware/defective-hinges-on-HP-laptops-envy/m-p/5378336#M204440

We hope that you will find useful information.  As further evidence that HP is aware of their own design flaw, the new 17 "want to have a case completely redesigned with a much better hinge.

    Good luck!

  • HP 15-R006TU: computer HP laptop 15-R006TU left half of the screen has turned white

I turned my HP 15-R006TU laptop to Hibernate mode before going to sleep last night. Today morning when I turned it on half of the screen was white with a few lines inside. All software and operating system works very well. Its like it has a white cover on the left side of the screen. I can't access start menu because it is on the left side of the screen.

I turned off my laptop and unplugged the adapter, then turned on again, but it remains the same. I have not changed the drivers or anything recently. I have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and I use the dongle Auntie Photon Max for internet. My laptop is only 2 years. I don't have anything I can remember damage the laptop and, finally, I used it, everything was fine.

What should I do?  How to solve this problem? Virus for this or is - this display problem?

P.S. I noticed the left hinge connecting the screen with a keyboard part is a little loose... And screen resolution is affected is I move the screen

    PLEASE HELP ME...

It's the material. Can you connect to an external monitor? If the output is OK outside then we have reduced to a bad display cable or a bad screen. Much more likely the latter.

You have the 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 screen, which is the most common type. Very cheap and replacing the screen is easier than you think. We will also need to assess the problem of screen hinge and eventually replace the hinge.

After return with the country you live so interested to continue repair of mutual assistance. We can you link to a video and you will help to find the part.

  • If defeated by the left hinge - TouchSmart from HP ENVY 17 - j005ea Notebook PC

    Hello world

Recently, when I opened my TouchSmart HP ENVY 17-j005ea book I noticed that the case falls apart.

I had the computer since December 2013.

    Can someone please help?

    Thank you

I managed to fix it myself, without the help of HP.

I removed the rubber foot near the left hinge where the case came out and found that the screw had worked loose causing the case to open it. I put the screws in place and the hinge works perfectly.

I am currently looking ways to prevent it from happening again.

    Kind regards

  • Satellite Pro A300D-131 - deformed casing and the hinge of the screen scratches

Someone knows a distorted envelope around the power button, mine is triggered a good 1-2 mm.

I also notice that the hinge of the screen between the hinge and the body is so tight that the silver effect finish scratched to bits. The laptop is only a few months and it seems decidedly tatty already, it looks like a bad case design.

I have the Satellite Pro A300D-131.

I have the Satellite A300 in front of me. The laptop part of my girlfriend and it is around the age of two months. I checked the areas described and I n t another thing unusual opinion.

To be honest, I don't like this new design of Toshiba I would have most of the ports on the back, but this new design made by Toshiba for more stable display hinges.

If you really think that there is a serious problem I recommend you to contact the nearest authorized service provider. They should take a look and give you advice what to do.

  • Problem HP Pavilion 15 left button of the mouse

Something seems to have gone wrong or goes wrong with my HP Pavilion 15 laptop.

The left mouse button doesn't seem to be completely back to its normal position on the right side of the button. It seems to be about 1 mm below where it should return to.

The button is still fully functional, the left side of the button gets to his normal position of return but the right side is certainly a little weak - there is a separate step to the right button of the mouse that touches.

The laptop is less than a year and I am consideringing it let's get back to the where I bought it, even if the button still works.

Everyone had a problem like this with the muse... buttons?

    Thank you

    Hello Nigel_S

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that you are concerned about the button to left click on the touchpad of your laptop.

There is a little spring under the buttons making the jump to the top, but over time, it can slide or wear out. This usually only happens on notebooks and is not exclusively limited to HP. In view of your product is still under warranty and it is definitely a hardware problem, I would suggest contacting a helpline for service options. You can contact HP Technical Support at 1-800-474-6836 in North America. For all other regions click here.

    Hope this helps!

Noticed the flexibility increase at first then the left hinge of closing of pop and split the case. I had the chance to put back in place and snap it back but it's tenative at best. I see no proactive movement side HP on this chronic problem. What happens with that. I just purchased another HP and have my HP Pavilion dv4-1435dx sitting next to me. • Tecra A7: left side of the laptop is hot

With the new Tecra A7 for a few weeks. Now, during the summer, it is almost impossible to leave my left hand on the left of the laptop site (44Cel. My thermometer surrenders. The Ventilation exhaust is to close.

    Gerd cordially

    Hello

I saw the Tecra A7 on photos and on the left side you will find the vents and the fan. I guess that the CPU is placed on the motherboard of the left side.
The processor produces a lot of heat and therefore the temperature rises.
The cooling modules generally should work correctly. Please check if there is enough free space around the laptop. It is very important for the cooling of the laptop.

In addition, the books supporting protection against overheating. If the temperature rises to the critical level the notebook will automatically stop.
In your case, the laptop is not closed.
But if you think that the temperature is too high, then you should contact Toshiba service partner in your country. Guys should check the laptop.
