    Hi all

As indicated in the subject I am hunting the purchase of a mounting rack for our FVS336GV2 kit and could do with the Netgear part number to order if anyone can list please?

The manual States on page 18 that it is part of the provided content then on page 22, the unit in the rack mounting mounting kit.

    http://www.downloads.NETGEAR.com/files/GDC/FVS336GV2/FVS336Gv2_RM_18DEC14.PDF

However the Datasheet on the last page does not show as a part of the content provided...

    http://www.downloads.NETGEAR.com/files/GDC/datasheet/en/FVS336Gv2.PDF

When I call netgear they keep telling me that the rack kit is p/n: 42010043-01.

This kit is for the office series M4100 switch and will not agree to the FVS336Gv2.

    The M4100 DG12 is 328mm ~ 321mm width and the FVS336Gv2 is only 254mm wide.

Even if the kit above mounting screw holes are the correct model to lay on the side of the FVS336Gv2 the ears would be too short to reach the edge of the rack mount amounts to mount even when.

    Kind regards

    Peter.

    Hi Peter_A,

    Welcome to the community.

I regret to inform you that, it seems, there is just a mistake in the manual of the FVS336Gv2 so that it is not intended for rack design.

    Kind regards

  • 2960 replacement rack mounting kit?

Is it possible to get a mounting kit rack replacement for a 2960 48 port switch? I had a reading of textbooks but can't see a reference number specified. Part number asked (BT) is for the version 8 ports, which is not very useful.

I build a laptop computer in a server chassis rack size 3U that supports my card mother CEB size, but the power supply is 500W and probably not enough for my rig. I need of 700W or 800W. • Connect a mounting rack system UCS stand-alone server

    Hello

I read somewhere on the dcoumentation this server from Cisco to stand alone as c210, c250 can be attached to the UCS Interconnect fabric. Can some expert cisco shed some light in there?

    I think I know,

I'll have to plug the UCS FI External rack mount FEX and Cisco servers connecting to the FEX. Can someone clarify?

What are the system requirements for the configuration above to UCS?

I configured ports UCS FI as server ports and connect them to an external FEX with Twinaxial cable. But the ports are the link down. Cable Twinaxial is supported? I have to do additional configuration that we do when you plug a Nexus 5000 on a FEX?

  • PowerEdge T620 mounting rack for Tower conversion kit

    Hi all

So we made a mistake on our order of Dell Server PowerEdge T620.  We ordered as a half-rack server when the client needs a server in a tower configuration.  We need a kit or the numbers of room but a simple that will allow us to put a lid on one side which would be the top once feet for the background and a tower on the server so it can stand on the ground a little.

We called ProSupport and parts Department for a for a top coating and the feet part number and all that we continue more is sorry that we do not offer in the framework.  Kind of frustrating when you order a conversion kit from a tower to a rack installation, but nothing to go back to a tour of a rack mounting.  There must be a number of room so where some how.  Everyone knows this if so any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you
    PC_Nate

    Hello PC_Nate

The top of the cover page: 8MP85
    Roulette kit (feet): T501M

Our internal documentation regarding the T620 is pretty obvious of not being able to convert after the purchase. If you are able to do work then thanks for posting here to let other users know what it needed. I don't know that anyone else you want to do this.

    Thank you

  • Configuration problem with the ReadyNAS Ultra 2 Plus OS 6.2.4

I just upgraded my ReadyNAS Ultra (x 86) of OS OS 6.2.4 4.2.27 2plus. And Yes, I know that this is not supported by Netgear. I followed the instructions from a previous thread published 04 01, 2013

R4toR6_Prep_Addon.bin (26 KB) (download first, do not restart, avoids the need for the default manual

    in the meantime)

R4toR6_6.1.9.bin (51.8 MB) (upload after addon)

Everything worked fine and the system seems to work very well, except a little problem.

When I check the configuration under "System" then "volume", I see the wrong image of my ReadyNAS hardware. I mean looks like a photo of rack mounting when I use a Ultra 2 desktop computer more. See below:

The picture configuration is correct on the screen 'System' then 'sample'

I did something wrong? Is there a way to fix this? For now, I have two new 6 TB drives still installed without data on them.

Hope for a good quick answer.

Thank you very much. I consider this problem to be resolved.

  • ReadyNAS 2100-v2 & 6 TB

ReadyNAS hardware compatibility list is too old. Can I use some 6 TB of HDD with this NAS?

There are two limits of expansion on RAIDiator - x 86 4.2.x you need to know:

    1. you can not develop a volume of more than 8 TB during his life. So if the ability of the original volume of the volume was 1.8 TB do not develop beyond 9.8 TB

    2. you can't expand beyond 16 TB. If you want a larger volume of ability while you do a factory default (erases all the data, settings, everything) with the disks in place.

ReadyNAS OS 6 does not have these limitations.

For rack mounting NAS using business records would be recommended.

6 TB disks worked for some users in the 4 Ultra / Ultra 4 Plus/Pro 4 (who use the same processor 2100, but for compatibility drive the SATA controller used v2, this is what counts). I think that 6 TB disks should be used in the v2 of 2100, but you certainly do not want to back up your data first try before.

If you use disks outside the compatibility list and are experiencing problems then support may be unable to help her, but you could always come to the community, of course.

  • HP Pavilion 23xi: Desk Mount double HP Pavilion 23xi monitors

    Hello

Is someone can you please tell me if it is possible to mount two monitors of 23xi hp pavilion on a double rack mount monitor office.

Look at the back of the screen, it does not appear that there are screws for the monitors to climb.

I just wanted to get this information before I go ahead and buy a monitor to double desk stand.

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

There can be NO standard mount (VESA). You need a drill and a good skill for drill holes on this subject. I think that you must buy monitors that supports VESA brackets or buy the following combinations:

    (Note: check the hardware compatibility)

  • 24 e / s digital on the grid of the BNC-2090 a mount.

    Hi all

I use a capture card of data NI PCI-6221 connected to a BNC-2090 rack mounting has. Digital I/O Terminal block on the rack mounting sping is a watch the bottom of the image. The PCI-6221 card has 3 digital i/o ports with 8 lines for each port. I tested what line corresponds to what terminal and came up with the following representation in red, where, for example, the P2-2 corresponds to the Port 2 - line 2, etc. However, it seems that Port 1 - 0 line is not represented by a sping terminals.

Is it possible to get an e/s on support for this particular line mounting while I have available altogether instead of only 23 24 lines? Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

    Hello

I think you are right that the PFI0 line is not represented by one of the terminals of the spring.  Sounds more like it is represented by a BNC connector.  You can see that on page 2-1 Manual BNC-2090 is:

Maybe it's the same for the ASA5505 kit, as the boxes appears to be somewhat identical... ?

    Hi Ocean,

Yes, it's a good piece I guessing the ASA 5505 and WLC 2100 must use the same chassis.

  • UCS ISCSI Boot Jumb MTU

Light and matter seeks jumbp MTU working for ISCSI boot.

    UCS 6248S

    IOM 2208

    VIC YEARS 1240

    5.1 ESXi update 1

    VNX 5500

I have a few rack mount hosts with 10G network cards, who works with jumbo MTU and I can vmkping the VNX SPs with ' vmkping d s 7000 10.1.1.1 "and it works.

In UCS the operating system starts on the VNX via ISCSI

The ISCSI network is a pair of Dell Force 10 S4810s

UCS FI - A and FI - B have 2 10 uplinks in a s port LACP on the strength of Dell 10 channel

Checked the jumbo MTU is enabled on the side of Dell

The system class QoS now occupies the 9216

There is a QoS ESX ISCSI strategy mapped to the class gold

ESX ISCSI strategy is mapped to 2 vNIC models; one fabric and a fabric b

If I set the MTU on the vNIC model 9000 errors the OS at startup a message on start-up banks missing

If I set the MTU on the vNIC model 1500 the host boots fine

I put groups of ISCSI ports and vSwitch to 9000 in ESX, but I cannot ping the VNX SPs with a package of more than 1500.

    Attached is a diagram

Someone at - he of the clues as to what I'm missing? Thank you

Make sure that you assign you best effort to 9216 so class on the system UCS class.

The return traffic is probably not sent with a COS value so the UCS is the treatment to best effort which by default is 1500.
