• Does anyone have a resolution for the legends of failure box click works does not after publication in Captivate 7?

  The legends of the insufficiency of work during preview, but not when the file is published. I have read other entries in the forums and I tried to remove the captions and add it again, made sure the click box is at the top of the timeline and tried different. I have the number of attempts the infinite value, that I know has been a problem in previous versions, but I have another project where these settings are working.

  In this case: a box of big click under the box click on the green button (same point of suspension) and use the action of the success of this big box click to give the failure message.

• Very small legends closed in the preview window, how to change?

  Hi all

  I imported a file (created with AegisSub) STL with subtitles in first Pro CC (later) and so far it worked well. The caption file is located in, I can put it on the timeline and even the time seem to be going well.

  The only problem I have is that the text on the preview window is very very small and thin (nothing compared to the text I see in all the tutorials). Also, I can not change the background of the text in the legend editor window.

  I spent all day yesterday on research on how to increase the font in the preview window so that I can edit video without the need to have a screen that is big 3x3m really comfortably. It seems to me that it should be a simple operation, that the question crosses as already quite ridiculous. But legend supported (or the whole thing subtitle) pp is so rudimentary that I am very well prepared to receive the response to "man I'm sorry, can not do!" something.

  Once decode us captioning, of any standard, it is the size that it is. We don't have a way to change the size of the police, once decoded. According to me, it has something to do with the closed captioning standard.

  I appreciate your points - I'll put a bug in Premiere Pro that the fonts for the Teletext / LSE is be decoded small - and also put in a request for Premiere Pro that the user be able to increase the size of the police after decoding of closed captioning.

  Still, Premiere Pro is not the final arbiter on how these legends will appear - check to see how other devices are reading these stories, because the font size varies depending on what other hardware or software is used to decode closed captioning.

• Help, please. Can't resize boxes – this isn't a question of "show/hide bounding box.

  I opened illustrator today and found that I couldn't resize all forms using the angle handles. I tried to hide/show the bounding box, and this isn't the issue... I really don't want to reset my preferences. There were similar issues like this, but the only answer I get is hide/show bounding - that is certainly not my problem. Please help - this is driving me crazy

  You are on Mac OS 10.7 or 10.8? We have similar problems on these operating systems. The current workaround is to upgrade your operating system to 10.9 and it should solve your problem.

  I create a few quiz and sometimes I wish I could have the feedback than T3 to be an image instead of the standard caption box.

  How can I create something like this?

  If your quiz questions are to report a score o LMS, it won't matter whether you use a legend or an image for the return.

• Resize box is gone?

  I use CS4 on an iMac. I have used for a while now. But all of a sudden, when I select several objects, I do not get a box around these objects that allows me to resize all the objects at once! I must have accidentally changed a preference, but I can't figure out how to get that back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

• Problem with connection of resizing boxes in Captivate 5

  I record a software simulation where the user must enter their connection in a demonstration details.

  I have to record fullscreen (1152 X 864), and then resize it to 750 x 545. That works fine, but when I view the slides resized typed information (login and password) have not changed from the login box and therefore appears as a field to halfway to the bottom of the page instead of inside the boxes.

  Everyone knows this and y at - it something that I can do outside of record 750 x 545 (not ideal because half the login page is cut) or to leave it at a higher resolution (when published means that the user must scroll to view the entire slide so not ideal no more).

  I did it several times in Captivate 4 and it works great.

• Resize box resizes irregular race

  When I resize a box of fireworks, the weight of the race rises with him. Is there a setting to stop this behavior annoying?   When I connect with the keyboard of my laptop (my gmail acc, my ins Bank etc. Journal) the Id box represents a cross-brand like the close sign & pw box shows a sign of the eye. These signs do not appear when I connect with the virtual keyboard to the Bank ins journal. I use IE. These signs donot appear when I work with google chrome. Indicates some virus/malware etc in my laptop. I scanned with MSE at least 4 - 5 times, 2 times with MICROSOFT SECURITY SCANNER & presence of virus/malware is not displayed after full analysis. Can there be viruses etc. Pl help

• I accidentally closed the dialog box when Firefox was asked if it was OK for a program to change my computer. Now, I can't open the program.

  I have a game (Neverwinter Nights) that updates periodically. Yesterday, I got a dialog box asking if it was OK for game to change my computer (happens from time to time). I meant to click 'Yes', but instead accidentally closed the box (which I think will remain always to 'no'). Now, I can not open the game. How can I fix?

  Hello stmanley1970, these dialog boxes are not from Firefox, but your windows operating system 7. Therefore, please contact support for this game publisher channels to receive help for that matter...

• How can I export several language closed pp legends?

  So here's the scenario:

  1. Documentary photo of length in slovene featured
  2. Created slovene and English subtitles (.srt format) code (I have more than two languages translation)
  3. Imported into my project and marked as CEA608 CC1 English and slovene as CEA608 CC2
  4. Placed two files of legend on my timeline on video tracks 5 & 6 respectively
  5. I can select the CE1 or CE2 channels in the program monitor and see the correct subtitles during playback.
  6. I export to Quicktime (MOV) format and select 'Embed in the output file' in the tab captions options
  7. When I look at the QT file it contains only a single stream CC (CC1) and so only English subtitles are available.

  I tried to export the captions in any format available sidecar (*.) CSC, .mcc, .xml, .stl, .srt). ALL of them with just a SINGLE channel of legend, CC1.

  I feel like I tried all combinations of input file specification "and the output file option and have not found one that will export two or more closed channels of the legend."

  My guess is, I have to exchange all subtitle files (CE1 > CE2 and CE2 > CC1) and then restore the project twice. time to get the English .srt file and a second time to get the language Slovenian .srt file.  This should work for the production of DVD where I can import files sidecar separately in yet. This will also work for YouTube where I can download the two, or more, .srt files. But I see no way to create a single MXF or MOV file with two built-in languages. It's my main output requirement.

  Has anyone successfully created a workflow for several language legend closed?
  Premiere Pro actually exportable in multiple channels of CC and if so, how?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  The workflow creation and editing for closed captioning, although does not changes in batches of legends or is likely to further massive changes and conversions. For some users and the specific workflow, this can be tedious and impractical. Please submit a feature request.

• Legend box text seems to embolden

  Using Captivate 4.  When I write the text in the caption box seems normal in Design view, but when I go to slide that looks like embolden.  I only noticed this because the legend with chips box in appears as it should look like not "BOLD", but the other one slide without chips, you can see that the text is "BOLD".

  I sent this query to some because I can't always to use this forum. I get the following message 9 times out of 10:

• Closed Caption Editing: Location, size and animation

  I am using Captivate 9

  I am trying to adjust the CC because when it pops up it covers very important buttons which are required to be visible. It is therefore possible to 1. move the text closed caption box where I want (at the very least moved upward in the worst case).  2. is it possible to resize the box caption if I wanted the in a box on the side for example. Finally, 3. the CC is animation by moving down.  Is there a way I can have it animate upward instead?

  Any help on that would be great.

  SWF, you need a widget to move, for HTML5, you can add some CSS to move.

• Legend transparent w / underscore

  Using Captivate 3.0.1
  
  Noting in a transparent text caption results in the following warning:
  "In order to display underlining in transparent captions correctly, we use a method of displaying fonts which may reduce the quality of the text."
  
  Is there a way to get around this? With the edition current bug, it is particularly disturbing because Captivate automatically selects the text underlined before closing the box having for result next edited legend being completely stressed.

  Hi, Janet

  Try clicking on help > updates... and by applying the update. Adobe has recently eliminated a fix for the bug edition. Installation of the update should fix this.
