  I wanted to know if TreeFields can contain Images... ? As in, on Expansion, there should appear a picture., is this possible?

  You can certainly draw a picture in a row of TreeField, just as you can with a ListField. Implement you this in your TreeFieldCallback.drawTreeItem () method. There are a lot of discussions on this operation with a ListField. Search the Forum - the techniques also apply to a TreeField.

  But a TreeField has the same limits as a ListField: all rows must have the same height. I suspect that may exclude using a TreeField for what you want to do.

  You can use a scrollpane component. Simply create a movieclip with some content you want scrolling, set the ID of this movieclip binding and set the contentPath of the scollpane to this connection ID.

  Question: Captivate slide comments messages are displayed in the active forms. The parameter preferably smart use of forms for SFH legends instead of text captions is NOT selected. How can I force Captivate to use legend feedback messages?

  Background:

  Today I was training for my team on slide masters & Manager object style. I had set up the messages of comments under objects quiz > legends (good legend, incorrect, etc..) We have created cloned styles and imported a background shape that is the hallmark of our company/policies so that our team will be always consistent when we present the feedback of our modules. Set us them as default style.

  

  When we created our labels by default in Quiz preferences, I had them all check the default labels to display our styles rather than absence of Captivate. When the time came to update the model of slides with our desired settings/locations, etc. someone told that their legend was not in the Name of the Style list; they all said < type of feedback > shape placeholder rather than caption Placeholder. It turns out that this was the case with everybody I train. It worked fine for everyone on 6 Captivate and it worked for me 8.

  We had checked on the machine of someone and the preference use smart forms for SFH legends instead of text captions has been selected. We he deselected, Captivate saved, closed and he was still selected when we opened a new project. A renewed and then allowed the cache. Now, the check box is not selected; However, he has not made a difference. Their masters slides on new projects still display form placeholders for messages of comments rather than legends.

  The theme is configured this way. I'm sorry, but the solution that I know on this topic to modify master slides which you use, where forms are used, click on it with the context menu and choose "Return to the legend". I recommend you to save the theme after editing all the slides of masters.

  Hi guys,.

  I have a slideshow that has 8 images with thumbnails for example. I want to move the caption (text box) for each image in the other location, but if I adjust the caption of an image and others, their legends are exactly in the same position as the caption for the first image.

  There must be a work around for this surely,

  I came across this post - help with captions in slide shows , but I do not understand what is needed to do this, if someone manages to do, could you please limit exactly what is needed to get the look. I tried to disable "change set" and that did not help either.

  I hope someone can help here, I really need to be located in different places for each image captions in the slide show.

  You can use any composition in the form of a slide show and add the text block in the container, place the block of text in a different location for each container.

  My problem is that no matter what position specified I returned to the text box using the implementation of style, the results are far from what I'm looking for.

  Hello, I'm newer than you if do not have a go if it is nonsense - I tried!

  But I discovered this week that to make the absolute position of the work the containg div must have the relative value.

  I have a #container defined, div.  The #content div is then positioned compared to this div container using an absoulte position.  Move it around to adjust the position absolute - in my case I used left = 0 top = 0 to put it at the top left of the div container I used Panel click CSS styles on the div #content and there standing in live mode view - I can not yet write code.

• Empty boxes instead of images in the compiled help file (.chm)

  Original title: invisible Images in the CHM files

  I recently noticed that images are no longer displayed when I read a compiled help file (.chm).  There is a big empty space where the image should appear.

  I just noticed the problem today, but it could have been going on for a few weeks.  I say this because the SAME thing happens when I open an e-mail message that contains a picture in Outlook 2003 - no picture, just an empty area.  THIS problem lasts for a month or more.

  Some facts which may be relevant: 1) operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1.

  (2) it is completely up to date with Microsoft Updates.

  (3) the CHM files are associated with the Microsoft HTML Help executable

  (4) until a few weeks ago, no problem was obvious.

  (5) after that I reload problem

  (6) problem persists after as I clear my browser cache (long shot I know)

  (7) when I print a page from a CHM file, the image appears on the page printed as expected.

  (8) OTHER USERS ON THAT COMPUTER DO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM!

  I found the answer to my problem, and it's simple and infuriating at the same time.  It turns out that some time ago (months?), my Internet Explorer option to "View image" has been decommissioned (Tools > Internet Options > advanced > Multimedia > show pictures).  Because IE is not my default browser, I have not noticed.

  Now that I have activated "Show image", I can display images in IE, compiled Help Viewer and Outlook.  Obviously these other applications use IE as their html Viewer (why not?), and are under the same options, adapted to the internet, as the application host (bad idea!)

  Hi Bren,

  Ask yourself, if you've selected a bunch of paragraphs where the different paragraph styles are applied:

  What do you expect that your alert will return?
  And what is actually returned?

  Then do your tests with a block of selected text:

  And finally to loop through all the paragraphs of the text frame and its history.

• Captivate 9 buttons Quiz: I can't get flipping and animations to work down.

  My buttons on the quiz pages do not show reversal or down events. The buttons work, but the user has no indication (Visual or audible) who clicked the button. It's only on quiz slides. If I change the buttons on the button transparent by default does not always work, but the two styles of work on blades ranging. I tried to edit them in the Style of the object manager, but it does not work either. I created a new test course and it still does not work. I tried in different browsers. I searched anything about the behavior of the quiz buttons, but I've not found anything. Any help? Thank you.

  The default style for buttons of quiz in this theme has no State.

  It is impossible to use form on leaves of quiz buttons, I wasn't perhaps no clear, which is a pity, because they are much easier to shape. That's why I suggested to replace the transparent button with image buttons. You can choose one of the available image buttons, but you will need for each type of quiz button because the image buttons have no possibility to change the label located in the image. You can create custom image buttons, you need three images (png is fine) with the same name _up, _down, anime_survol.

• EPUB - GREY BOXES instead of Images

  When exporting my epub book, I get the gray boxes instead of images. Everybody run in this or know what to do to fix this?

  

  All the images are correctly connected and InDesign is to say that I have any errors. The only way I can get the images will be displayed ONLY if I select 'Image of existing use for graphic objects '. But if I select this, I lose the cropping and adjustments in the direction that I did in my inDesign file. I even tried to just copy and paste a picture into the document itself.

  Needless to say that I have spent far too long trying to understand this and did not progress...

  If other people can export very well, but you can not, then I suggest some troubleshooting your installation of InDesign.

  Have you tried rebuilding your preferences and then re - export?

  Have you done that you are not using third-party plug-ins that load automatically with InDesign?

  Assuming that you have done these two tests and are still having a problem, then try it on a test on your computer account. Package the InDesign file and put it on a USB key (or I guess you could just download the files from the link above) and then log out of your account on your computer and connect again to a new charge account with administrator privileges. (If you have not yet created, you should do this first before disconnecting... lol)

  When you log the new account, all applications are available to you, but no files or settings of the user of your other account. So, open InDesign download/copy the compressed file and open the page layout and export. See if that makes a difference.

  Title says it all. What is the practical limit to the number of files that can contain a single folder? These would all be tiny files, usually less than 20K, I'm looking for emotional limit of Windows, rather than the clear disk space limit.

  This is on WinXP SP3 and these files would be created in Word.

  I think that with Win7, 20,000 of handling should not be a problem.  Depending on how you access them (such as manually via file |) Open who needs time to load all files to choose among them) it will be slow, but even XP that will handle a lot, even though it may be slower.

  With this product number, I was able to find your Service Maintenance Guide and which has a no failure and replacement of parts. You don't need an inverter of the screen you can see where it is at page 62 and page 20, step 13 in the removal of the display Assembly procedure will show you how to replace. The part number for the inverter are on page 27.
