"Lenovo USB avdio" drive installation of drivereasy

Before Drivereasy downloaded the driver, the choice is to install their own, but also can not find the installation files, after decompression can not see the installation files, I put the download files are deleted, but re download suggests that an error has occurred, do not know what to remove, to solve.

In the "drivereasy" also long the download to complete the "lenovo USB Audio" will jump in the error message, the other drivers can be downloaded. As if the path is bad,

    Hi all

I formatted my laptop some time ago. Now I want to reinstall windows vista (came along with my laptop). The thing is due to a problem that my CD drive does not work so I would like to install windows vista by using a USB key. Can you get it someone please let me know if this is possible... If Yes, how I've go ahead make a bootable USB.

As someone can tell me if there is a way to retrieve the WINDOWS KEY from the recovery disc.

    Thank you.

    Hello

This can help, but you will need a Vista system to create the working bootable USB key:http://www.askvg.com/how-to-create-bootable-usb-drive-to-install-windows-vista/

As for the product key, it should be on a sticker on the laptop (usually on the bottom). If it is not readable, contact the manufacturer for further assistance. As we said already, the product key is not on the installation disc.

Replace broken laptop optical drives is not too difficult, you can see this as another option.

  • WinXP not reading USB floppy during installation (F6). Cannot install the ACHI storage controller driver.

I bought a 3000 N200 with Win Vista Basic. His is not illegigble for a decommissioning of the plant, but apparently it's possible.

At the beginning of the XP installation after you press F6, everything seems very well, that the floppy drive is read I can select the appropriate driver and program installation continues...  Drunk when the installer is ready to copy files to the hard drive, Setup stops and asks the "Intel Matrix Storage Manager" diskette in the A: drive.    The thing is that the drive is still in the floppy drive. It's as if the USB floppy drive is not connected.  What's wrong?

I've done the disk several times different. I unplug it and re - insert the USB key.

I can't disable the ACHI and run the XP installation very well, but the ACPI driver (or something like that) is installed.  Later, during the loading of software the program WinDVD from the Lenovo Web site does not recognize the manufacturer and stops.

    Help, please...

nLite is my Savior. I've not finished installation, but once the installation program only is complaint not only no hard drive was present, I think that I am free to hone. I just included the AHCI driver in nLite with the chipset drivers and it seems to work...

Later I'll post the final verdict...

  • Solution: The USB floppy drive is not recognized during installation of XP of RAID

    Hello

This Solution is for notebooks Qosmio with RAID driver during (manual installation of windows)

I found the Solution to this problem,

[When you install Microsoft Windows XP by using a floppy drive USB on a player who]
requires a driver during the installation, the USB floppy drive is not recognized in all
installation. When Windows XP searches the driver of the second time, he will not be able to see
the floppy USB drive drive and prompts the user for the driver (RAID) again.
The installation will never reach this point. ]

    Solution:

This is a limitation of Microsoft, the Floppy Drive are do not appear in the file Windows 'txtsetup.sif.

Simply change the floppy drive in another brand and avoid Usb 2.0 external Usb floppy plus old 1 Try
Also note the back of drive sometimes they write (no bootable) avoid this also

When I try to install window 7 ultimate my Windows vista ultimate, the spectacle of the window the following error message "a required CD/DVD device driver is missing. You could try to copy the contents of the DVD to a folder on your hard drive. Then start the installation from there.

(I've seen a post or two during the upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit of Vista 32 bit). Could just be a funky DVDROM drive problem. Copy of the files should ignore the issue.

  • Is it possible to perform a clean installation of Windows 7 using an external USB DVD drive. We will ask for a driver

Is it possible to perform a clean installation of Windows 7 using an external USB DVD drive.  We will ask for a driver.

I did will need you you will need to Prime boot in the BIOS and set to boot from it.

  • Lenovo USB keyboard - Trackpoint/Touchpas does not

Now, I'm having the same problem in Win7 that I barely got away with Vista.

    The problem is the following:

-J' have the Lenovo Trackpoint and Touchpad (wonderful) built-in USB keyboard.

-When I installed this keyboard on Vista it worked out of the box, but in Windows Update, I got an update recommended for newer drivers or better.

-When I installed this driver, the Trackpoint and Touchpad stoppet work - so I had to restore my system and to hide these updates in Windows Update.

-So when I install Win7 RTM these drivers seem to install with the system and therefore the Trackpoint and Touchpad on my external keyboerd does NOT work out of the box. I don't get updates to make this.

    I tried solutions:

-J' tried to install the drivers from keyboerd.

-The driver with quick access keys installs fine, but does not solve the problem.

-The standard keyboard driver will not install because it says I have there is a newest Synaptics driver which had to be removed first.

-Well, there is no Synaptics-drivers installed to remove - probably because these drivers are installed with the system.

-J' also tried to Devil driver PS/2, etc., but nothing works.

--> So, I'm really stuck with my wonderful Lenovo USB keyboard without being able to use the Trackpoint or Touchpad. The worst though is that I know what to do the problem, but don't know how to fix...

Can anybode please help, I can't believe I'm the only one having this problem (in Vista or Win7).

  • USB does not work with flash or usb HD drives

Lenovo T60 with XP Pro. USB flash drive appears in my computer, but must be formatted. If I click on the message in the format software generats the reader would noy be formatted. In properties-> volume are not met. If I click on fill to field will fill with the correct information. After OK everything will be gone. On an another identical T60, everything is OK. In the Manager of-> / place - >... it shows the correct information, the disk is online. Change the letter has no effect.

With USB HD even more interesting. A (350 GB) HD looks like 3 disks: 2 small HD and one HD unallocated. Yet once, it looks like 1 hd if I connect to other computers.

    Mouse and keyboard work fine.

I cleaned the reg. for usb devices. After that, if I insert the USB XP key will be detected and will show message that new hardware installed and ready. However, it does not work as I described above.

    I appreciate all the comments

    Hmm,

In this case I have to reformat all of my usb drives and usb HD even all of them are OK if I use other computers. I'll try it, but this isn't a solution. USB is not a big problem, but what is on USB HD?

Yes, I get you. Try it on the USB first just to see if it solves the problem. The question is of course with the Windows installation and how it's the disc but, re-setup of can not solve. This way if you still experience the problem after formatting the flash drive you will be one step closer to understand the issue.

  • NB100 - How can I reinstall OS from USB flash drive

My laptop TOSHIBA NB 100 has no CD-DVD player.
Operating system is Windows XP Home SP2.

    Operating system won't start.

Laptop start not at all so I can't run any kind of test when I turn it on.

The thank you screen come on it says launch safe mode, the networking of safe mode, safe mode comand prompt or start windows normally. But no matter who I chose, that it does not start it only goes to Windows and looks like its starts but then shows the blue Windows screen & stays there.

So I want to reload Windows from my USB flash drive.
The BIOS boot sequence is the USB HDD - FDD - FD - CD memory.

What are the steps for loading Windows USB flash drive?

If that does not work then I want to connect another laptop with Windows CD in the CD - DVD drive laptop.
Will this work? The laptop will use the Windows CD in the drive of the laptop to load the operating system?
    How to make this connection?

    Hello

You usually have an external USB CD/DVD drive to boot from the Windows XP disc or the Toshiba recovery disc.

But there is a method that allows you to install Win XP using the 2 GB USB key.
This is possible because the NB100 BIOS supports booting from USB key.

    Pease check this Web page:

+ Installation of Windows XP using a USB Flash Drive.
    http://www.pctipsbox.com/Installing-Windows-XP-using-a-USB-flash-drive/

    Hope it could be useful.

  • Is it possible to recover it via a USB CD drive?

    Hello

the original cd/dvd on my laptop drive is broken, so my question:

is it possible to do the recovery via a usb cd drive, I tried with a windows cd regular and that worked, but now I wonder what to expect from the recovery cd

one more thing, the laptop is re-installed once at a computer store, but I don't know if they used the recovery cd, but I guess not...

is it still possible to make a recovery, or should I use some sort of thing hard disk which is cleared by this custom installation. because I don't know if all ghost files are on the dvd collection and I so don't know what

    Thank you very much!!

    No, certainly not possible.
It is not possible to boot from external USB drive.
As far as I remember most of the laptops and the BIOS supports a booting from USB - FDD / LAN / CD and HARD drive.

  • Satellite M40-237: CD Boot does not not + is possible startup USB key drive

    * Model: Satellite M40-237 (PSM40E) *.

I decided to reinstall windows, my hard drive is now formatted. So as usual, boot from the Windows CD is necessary to start the instalation but it does not start. I never had problems like this, always worked boot. It's as if there is no bootable CD in the drive (but it is bootable and it works on another PC).

-J' have the latest version of the BIOS
-The BIOS detects the optical drive and everything is ok, HARD is the ODD main drive is secondary
-J' tried selecting the boot priority, with F12 and/or the BIOS setting but it works anyway

What could be the problem here? Drive does not properly (hopefully, that and not something worse)? I had some problems with the drive I have (...) before, but it reads the disc normally and as I said start was working fine before. I cleaned the lens a bit, disconnected it and it put. Is there something more, what can I do?

I'll try to find someone who has the player that fits so I can try with that one, but who knows when is what will be.

Now, here's the second question, which I've linked to this. Because my laptop is practically useless now (I can't install anything), is it possible to boot from a:
    (a) optical drive USB external
    (b) USB flash drive

BIOS on this laptop has no USB boot option, it has HARD drive / CD / floppy / network. But I red somewhere this FDD = USB legacy emulation is enabled.

If that is correct, I should just plug in the USB key and select FDD as boot option? If I can't find a USB optical drive, I thought make it bootable USB flash drive and copy the installation of windows xp on it. So once it starts in DOS I start just the installer from the key.

    TNX

First I must say that the initialization of memory flash USB (USB key) is not possible and you shouldn't t waste time to try this.

With regard to your reader of CD/DVD boot problem
Well, it s really strange, it sounds a bit like a sort of master/slave/c-salt settings problem. But generally, you should get an error IDE (#0 or #1) if one of the devices (ODD or HARD disk) would not be recognized?  :|
    This whole thing seems mysteriously
There may be a firmware issue

Several months ago a friend of mine was not able to boot from the CD.
He went into the BIOS and set the BIOS default settings.
    This has contributed to

This is a suggestion, but I'm really putting t know if it helps.

  • Satellite L675 - 11 H - cannot access and/or played on USB flash drive files

    Hi all

I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite L675 - 11H and tried to transfer files from a USB Pendrive on my hard drive from Toshiba. The files were already transferred from my old laptop (HP - XP) on my USB flash drive.

Unable to access the USB flash drive to any of the USB ports that I connect my new laptop flash drive. What could be the problem here? Thank you for your help or tips!

    Hey Rush,

Can you post more detailes about this behavior? What happens if you connect your laptop HARD drive, you don't see that Windows installs the drivers for the new USB device or do you have an error message? If you have connected the USB check of Windows disk management if she s recognized there (Control Panel > system and security > administrative tools).

Have you tried other USB devices such as USB mice? If they don t work too the problem might be connected to the USB ports. In this case, you must delete all the USB ports on the Device Manager and restart your laptop. Also the chipset driver update might help.
