It just started with me after only a few updates last couple weeks for my Vista Ultimate (x 64) SP2. I'm getting this hanging just after I have try to open any image - not always - but too many times, it will be pasted the whole PC and hang every step inside, especially the explorer.exe. I tried to close and reopen the Manager tasks, but who was worse and not help and sometimes even stuck mouse moving.

The main solution to this problem is simply by clicking on the small button of my camera. IT IS REALLY BAD, MORE TIME I LOSE MY FILES.
So, what would be the solution for this. BTW, I have another PC in Win7 having the same problem. Yes IS THERE ANY DIFFICULTY for this please!

  • Windows 8, windows install keeps flashing on the screen several times only WILL NOT STOP

    Hello

I'm having a weird bug, that I have not met before with windows install.

I tried to install a version of MS Access 2000 Runtime on my machine to windows 8 dell inspiron 660. (The company I work again to use access 2000 Apps)

The installation failed and basically the planted program without completing the installation.

Immediately after what happened the windows Setup window started blinking on the screen very fast.

I tried a system restore, the program Microsoft 'fix - it' (do not do anything), and I have restored the registry from a backup without success.

The ONLY medium to stop flashing windows setup is to stop the windows service install, but when you start to use the pc new installer windows itself will start up and the flashing continued.

I can't find a way to disable windows full installer (apparently windows 8 will not let you change the start type services.msc )

Dell technical support was also no help because they wanted me to pay the money even if its in warranty.

I'm thinking really just install xp on it and be done with this...

    Hello

    Please keep us updated.

I understand that the Windows 8 bootable USB device is not detected during the execution of refreshment in the computer.

You can check the BIOS for the boot priority setting if the USB device is enabled or not. Check the steps in the manufacturers Web site to change the priority of the computer starts.

If this doesn't help, you can try to re-installation through the disk or media that you have, otherwise follow the link below.

When you buy Windows 8 an email with the download link and purchase details will be sent to your email address that you use to purchase / register your product, you can simply access email and use the download in links for the re - download to your computer.

    Hi Spine09,

    1. What is the exact message that you receive?
2 does this problem occur when you access all the files?

    Method 1:

First check the application in safe mode.

    Reference:

A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

If the problem does not happen then, try the clean boot.

    Method 3:

To solve the problem, I suggest you to reregister the Windows service install.

    a.Click on start
    b.Select Run
    c.In the "Open:", type cmd
    d.Click OK

A MS-DOS command window will appear on the screen with a cursor blinking on the command line. In this window, you will need to do the following:

Type msiexec /Unregister and press enter
Type msiexec/regserver , and then press enter

After you run the second command, you will be a new line ending with> and a blinking cursor. When you see this, you can safely close the command prompt and check if the problem is resolved.

  • Windows 7 install hangs at 89% during the expansion stage of files

I searched the Internet for the same problem and I can't find a definitive solution or cause for this.  It must be the worst installation experience ever!

I have a 9 year old office computer running Windows XP Pro with SP3.  The specifications are the following:
Processor 2.0 GHz of AMD Athlon 64 (32-bit)
    3 GB RAM
1 GB videocard ATI (Radeon HD4650)
200 GB IDE drive (SATA drive died a year ago)
    Sony DVD - RW drive
There is no floppy drive on this desktop computer

I decided to do a clean install of Windows 7 on it, I could test VS2012 and office 2013.  I installed the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and everything checked very well for compatibility.  I have downloaded Win 7 Ultimate x 86 with SP1 from the MSDN site, formatted the drive and installation.  He stopped at 0% a couple of times saying: "Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupted or missing.  Make sure all files required for installation are available. and run the Setup again.  Error code 0 x 80070015. »

Then I downloaded Windows 7 Ultimate x 86 and burned another DVD with verification.  I tried with this.  Formatted the drive, deleted the partition, created a new partition and created the 100 MB system partition.  This time he went to 89% before launching the same error: "Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupted or missing.  Make sure all files required for installation are available. and run the Setup again.  Error code 0 x 80070015. "It does not get stuck at 89%, it reached 89%, stays there for a minute and then this error message.

I gave up and I'm back to install Win XP on it, which took place without a hitch.  What is it?  Too old hardware?  Therefore, shouldn't the Upgrade Advisor say before you say it's just good install Windows 7?

    Hello

Welcome to the community Microsoft and thanks for posting the question.

According to the description provided, you have problems with the Installation of Windows 7 with error code 0 x 80070015.

Error code 0 x 80070015 refers to a device not ready which would normally be on the DVD player.

It is perhaps simply that the installation DVD is corrupt somehow or that the download of the. ISO is defective somehow. Worst case would be a material faullt.

You can try to re-burning at 1 x speed to fork the best chance to burn correctly, or maybe upload again.

If it is an option for you, the other options are the use of a USB key to install from-

  • 80 - Lenovo Z50 Windows 7 downgrade possible?

I considered buying a Lenovo Z50-80, but I wanted to know if it was covered by the decommissioning process. I would rather it downgrade to Windows 7, & I know it's only possible with Windows Pro 8.1; but I didn't know whether or not the Windows 8.1 version that comes on this laptop is the Pro version?

    sadpanda284 wrote:

Where is the 2nd part of my question? Wouldn't it be prudent to say that this device has at least 8.1 Windows Pro installed, so that he would fall in this agreement "helped downgrade" if they get drivers out there for it? I've never seen a PC labeled as having Windows Pro 8.1, 8.1 Windows only; so, I wasn't sure whether or not all versions of Windows 8.1 are considered to be 'Pro' version.

Three links you provided give their card or product detail 8.1 Win. It does'nt State Win 8.1 PRO. So I would guess like most units sold it is only version 64 bits not PRO Win 8.1. Why not give these sellers call and lay it on customizing the plug particularly operating system to win 8.1PRO?
