  Yes, I know there is a lens profile Creator application, but it would be useful to have the 'official' Adobe profiles, please.  Those of use of SONY Alpha cameras are not necessarily trust / capable in terms of creating our own profiles. .  It would be good to have in the next update of Lightroom 5!

• PSE8 question: is there a plugin for Sony Alpha A550?

  Sony Alpha A550 is supported in some updates, but it is is not clear to me if the updates are compatible with PSE8.

  The last plugin raw from the camera to pse8 is 6.2, which should open your files from sony (A550).

  It seems that this camera has been added in Lightroom 5.5. This means that there will be support for that camera to version 5.5 to leave, but there is no support for the camera in previous versions. You can upgrade to Lightroom 5 and that support. Or you can use the DNG Converter to create copies of your raw images that you can use DNG in the Lightroom you have now. Here are the published list of cameras supported by Lightroom and Camera Raw:

  I need to find the profile of lenses for the Sony 28 mm f2. When I look at lenses profiles in Lightroom there seems to be only one for Sony (18-200). I'm sure that there is a profile for this goal, as I saw that it made reference in line several times. Any help is appreciated...

  Profiles should work perfectly with the DNG files as DNG format is a raw file. Technically speaking, I do not think there is any downside to working with DNG files.

  I have the version of Adobe CS 5 and Lightroom 3 student and my camera Sony Alpha 350 is lacking so that I have to fix it or buy a new one compare www.sony.at/electronics/kameras. But I read on the internet that various new cameras from Sony are not same compaitble with Adobe CS 6.   I recently bought a Sony Alpha 5100. I found Lightroom 4 cannot process the RAW files produced by this unit. Is there a update/Add-In/Whatever that makes Lightroom 4 'understand' the Sony RAWs?

  You can use the free Adobe DNG converter to convert the files to DNG, which will allow you to import and edit them in Lr 4. Otherwise, you will need to switch to Lightroom 6

  Support for the camera has been added in the latest version of Lightroom, version 5.7.1. After you download Camera Raw 8.7.1 will have no effect on Lightroom because Lightroom does not use plug in Camera Raw. You must ensure that you have updated Lightroom to the latest version in order to have support for this camera.

  Please note that the course Lightroom / Adobe Camera Raw for the Sony ILÇE-6000 camera profile is very inaccurate: there is a serious green cast in the shade!

  Capture One Express for Sony (which incidentally is free) makes much more correctly!

  Please fix this, because I prefer to buy the LR6 coming mainly to keep my workflow established instead of going the road of Capture One.

  A good example can be found in the forum dpreview "shadow LR5 A6K pulling, a mess! Adobe LR is broken? "

  Or search for Philp Reeves 3 weeks with the Sony A6000 review "3 Wochen mit der a6000", where he compares to the A7 from Sony, using Lightroom both times to push in the shade.

  The Sony A7 is very well where the Earth resembles the Brown Earth, the A6000 photo looks like grass instead.

  Please fix this! It is a high volume camera often purchased by passionate or as second body for photographers of FF. Would be really great!

  The Reeve photographer explained it, he used on the A6000 f8 and f11 on the A7. Since the Canon FD 20 is a fully manual lens, the EXIF information was added through Exiftool, where he replaced by mistake the correct EXIF information for the aperture used and purpose.

  Canon FD 20 mm lens used only on the A7, Sony SEL1018 used on the A6000.

  RAW images should be all too bright, since they were also exposed. Jpg files indicated were pushed into LR differently if are not so important. If its not different exposure that causes the problems of shadow, but the Adobe profile of the camera used for the A6000. Of course the A6000 has a bit more noise than the fullframe A7, but as seen after the ARW file running by Capture One and THEN process in Adobe (see flickr link above), the noise difference is low and does not explain the Green cast.

  A type bayonet mount are compatible with our current SLT models. THE EA3 / EA4 THE adapter will be required if you plan to use these lenses with a horse E NEX camera.
