  Shit I don't WANT immediately. I have 7.1 Windows 64-bit and does not seek to update to 10 immediately I left working them the bugs out rather than be their Guinea pig.

  I can not install other updates (defender of the window, et al.) through Windows Update as the title is important on the Update window. When I check "all the updates available" it shows that I have updated 'important' (none are listed for 10) for windows defender and others, but when I select them and went back to the screen "install", it of "Let's Get Started" upgrade to Windows 10, MB 2613,7 and not pledging all other updates I just chose.

  Now I have (uninstalled) fact Kb3035583 option half a dozen times and it is NOT on my system more (that I can find) and was OK until 2 days ago (11 November) when I had to do the security updates monthly and a bunch of Office updates (including monthly scanning of malware). After that, I got the TITLE on my Windows 7.1 updates page saying, you guessed it, "Let's Get Started" upgrade to Windows 10, Mo 2613,7I did scans, newspapers turned on, and I can't find any article that mentions nothing other than the problem of Kb3035583 so I am confused.

  Please help me by removing the Windows 10 let's get Started option so I can continue to download updates for my current system.

  Please follow the steps in method 1 to method 3.

  Method 1: uninstall the update of Windows as follows:

  Remove the Windows Update KB3035583.

  If the problem persists, follow method 2.

  Method 2: Rename the GWXUXWorker.exe

  Complete the GWX.exe process using the Task Manager. Also rename the GWXUXWorker.exe and the GWX.exe to .old as the location of the directory suffix: -.

  Windows\System32\GWX, if get any problems by renaming may give permission to respective filesystem and then try renaming again. OR you can remove the folder from the directory.

  

  If the problem persists, follow method 3.

  Method 3: The registry key to stop notification : -.

  1. Press Windows + R keys on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
  2. In the Open field, type regedit.
  3. Click on OK.
  4. Click Yes on the user account control (if prompted).
  5. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Gwx
  6. A right click.
  7. Click on change.
  8. In the data value: on the ground, DWORD: 00000001.
  9. Click on OK.
  10. Output the registry editor.

  I can't do any update or check on my ipad since I have updated to the latest OS.  It won't let me log off of my old apple ID.  I forgot the password for it, and it doesn't let me change the apple for a new ID or anything like that.  When I go to "forgot password or Apple ID" I get a message that says: "this e-mail address is not an Apple ID.  Check your address and try again. "But it won't let me put in my new apple on the icloud page ID and will not let me Sign Out due to"find my iPad ".  It won't let me enter my new Apple ID at all.  Help, please!  Thank you.

  Was this work very well at a time earlier - I hope that recently?  Was your monitor there ever a better than 60 Hz resolution? Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

  Go to the Dell Support and enter your Service tag number.  Who should put up your system, including your monitor (assuming that your system is Dell - otherwise just check the make and model of the monitor) and get the latest device drivers available for this monitor and your version of Vista.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them through the Device Manager (start / Control Panel / Device Manager) as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html. or it may be a simple executable file - it depends what downloads.  Given that this is the view I'd do the same for your video card (that this either Dell or another manufacturer's).  Once you have installed these drivers, restart and go to Start / Control Panel / customization / display settings and see if you have more options for resolution and can get things the way you want them to be.

  I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, post back with the results of the above options, and any other information you can give us on the devices and the problem. Let's see if we can come up with a few other options to try.

• Try to change the drive letter, but get the error "the parameter is incorrect."

  I am trying to upgrade my PC to run Windows 7 64 - bit on a new Intel Solid State Drive (SSD). I install Windows 7 from scratch on the new SSD (which uses the drive letter J) have just completed and changed the drive letter of my original system from C to M.

  My intention was to reuse the drive letter C to the SSD, but the Win 7 disk management tool will not allow the use of C. "All I get is a' setting is incorrect" error message.

  My first thought was to check the location of the Windows page file. It was indeed using drive J, so I put the pagefile on the D drive instead and restarted my PC.  However, this has not fixed the problem. I always get "the parameter is incorrect" when I try to use the letter C.

  What else could be the cause of this problem?

  I tried a change of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices registry but it is just screwed to the top of the new installation of Windows on the SSD (it starts in a unusable mode "is not a real installation"). I was not too concerned by what I had already made my decision to reinstall Windows 7 after making changes in bios to disable all disks except the SSD and force a boot from the installation of Win 7 DVD.

  This relocation is now complete and the new partition on the SSD system has the C drive letter. A reboot with the other shows, active records that the original disc of BONE has been reassigned to the next available drive letter.

  My problem is thus solved. If it was the only way to do so is now a moot point.

• Help! My Ipod 7th gen doesn't let me get anything on safari

  I turned on my Ipod touch (7th generation) this morning and it worked perfectly well. I went to College and connected to the internet, as usual, to see that when I even clicked on the bar, the safari search screen would go black and go back to my home screen. Yet when I copied and pasted something in the search bar, it worked. I know that it's nothing to do with the internet itself, because I turned off my internet disconnected from him entirely and still my safari does not.

  I tried holding down the home button and the lock button until it makes a mini reset, turning walks (twice), deleting my whole Internet, bookmarks and data and it did not always work.

• Drive letter automatically gets changed

  I have an another ignorant newbie question since I've never done this before action.

  I just installed a new 2nd HD and an another current in addition to my main HD SSD. When I select 'Computer', the main HD is always labeled 'C', and the other installed drives are assigned several letters for purposes of recognition (D, E, F, K, etc.).

  I cloned two new disks.

  When I start the computer and select 'F12' to check my current boot drive option and then make a change to one of the secondary drives to become the startup disk, when I select 'Computer' even once, all readers appear except that they have now turned autour drive letters. Any player is automatically selected as boot drive becomes drive 'C' and others also have their drive letters changed.

  I was wondering if it's a normal thing. Doesn't bother me because I can still access everything's fine, it just seems odd.

  I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below to assign, change or remove the drive letter using command line:

  1. in the command prompt window, type DISKPART , and then press enter.

  2. tap the volume from the list and press enter.

  3 volumes or partitions on your system will be displayed with a volume number, letter, label, file system, type, size, and status. If you have only one partition on your hard drive, the volume represents the entire hard disk. Note the number of the simple volume that you want to assign, change, or remove the drive letter.

  4. type 'select volume ' followed of the volume number you want to assign, change, or delete.

  For example, if the disc is "Volume 3" in the disk list, type "select volume 3", and then press ENTER.

  DiskPart responds with 'Volume # is now the selected Volume.'

  5. at the DISKPART prompt, type one of the following:

  Remove letter = L

  Where L is the drive letter you want to delete.

  assign letter = L

  Where L is the drive letter you want to assign or change.

  For example:

  If you want to delete the D drive letter, type Remove letter = D and press enter.

  If you want to assign the drive letter E, type assign letter = E and press enter.

  BridgeTalk is a gene. I hate the hoop jump to to get the dialog boxes and windows in the palette to interact with Illustrator.

  That said, from my testing, it seems that everything that is really needed to 'bike' a script... is the active document.

  In most of my scripts, it seems, if I get the active doc object so I can keep my script currently on the document in question.

  I was playing with this code:

  It's hard for me to explain (as I write this message in frustration), but I'm trying to think of a way to make things BT simpler than what I made (and seen) in other code.

  Basically, it seems that all it takes is the activedoc. If I have the active doc then my code can continue to work on things.

  The problem is BT returns a string and not an object.

  Is long story short, possible for me to convert the string in the active document into a usable object?

  Maybe I could parse the string for the "test.ai", then a little more code allows you to enter the "activedocument" of the name of the file object?

  but to answer you question, I don't think there's a way to transform your string into a "usable" object doc doc. In fact, you can pass the object real doc in Illustrator to javascript via BT using yourdoc.toSource (), and then rebuild the string into an object object using eval(), but you still can't talk to illustrator

• Save for Web function has stopped working in Photoshop CC - let's get a DEFINITIVE answer!

  I keep seeing this in the forums and nothing has answered this question, so I put another post on the forum.

  I am running Photoshop CC 64-bit in Windows 7. I've lived this exactly the same problem with Photoshop CS6 and was never able to solve the problem. Now I find that after using Photoshop CC for about a month, I'm going to save for Web and I get the error message: "the operation could not be completed. The system does not have the specified path. Motivated by nothing. Just randomly started to gush this error message Monday morning, and I had used the SFW function on all throughout the day on Friday.

  After that reading the forums and being on hold with Adobe supports for a half hour (with a "timeout of 3-4 minutes felt"), I was unable to reach anyone know what to do. Forum suggested other messages deleted the backup of the levels of preferences Web in AppData, what I've done. I also deleted all my preferences in Photoshop without result. The only step I've seen in the forums so far has been uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop CC. Surely, there must be a better resolution that uninstall the program.

  Can I please a representative Adobe real to help with this? I see it all the time in the forums is of course not a rare event. Thank you.

  WHOO! After that 45 minutes of tech support from Adobe, we discovered the issue. I don't know if this could be the problem with the many others that I've seen on these forums, but I hope it helps someone.

  Seems the reason mine stopped was a simple permission problem. I use PS to work and the administrator did not have TOTAL control over my Adobe programs. It is fine... until there is an update to Windows or the system update. Then you have problems. Basically the admin just restored all permissions for me for Adobe software and VOILA! It worked perfectly. If you use the PS to work, talk to your system administrator and see about getting full permissions for Photoshop CC.
