    Please help me...!

    Answer me

    Hello

Windows XP needs a SATA driver if you want to install on the laptop with SATA HDD controller.
Driver SATA can be found in the Intel Storage Manager.

I advise to use nLite program to include a SATA driver in the new Windows XP CD, then boot from the XP CD created new.
You will find details of the nLite:

We just started having this message when logging in remotely: "your Server Terminal services temporary client license will expire in 13 days. Please contact your system administrator to get a permanent license. »

Although advanced server 2000 is not supported, we need to access the remote server for about 6 months until we do the transition...  We are a very small medical office and if we cannot access the server remotely, we are in big trouble! Our doctor S/W is old and is no longer sold or taken in charge by the seller.  We were told that it would not go on the latest server software that is available.

Is it possible to temporarily reactivate (period 6 months) the license for Terminal Server services?  I thought we had a permanent license and have never seen this message before. My guess it is initially set to expire at that time.

Can we buy a license 'enewal"for a period of 6 months/1 year until we have to transition?

I hope someone can help us, any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Server Terminal Server 2000 running, Memory Dump, restarting and checking bug error 0x0000007f

I've been to dump memory and blue screen on a Windows Server 2000 Terminal Server running.

I had to change the server for a complete memory dump to just check bug 64 MB because memory dumps were fill the C drive and it is the same mistake each time it fails.

It is a production server and is vital to my business.

I don't want to just install the 5 or 6 different patches from Microsoft that references the same exact error code, error message stop and symptoms for Server 2000.

I just replace the memory new inside with two sticks and I even changed the boxes it was with one that has no hardware problem as I have a few of them.

So he this 2000 Server had the motherboard, processor, memory, network, Audio card, changed video cards and I always get this accident a few times a day.

I can't find anything definitive on this so if anyone has had the same problems and found a solution, then I'd be very happy to help.

I am doing a complete network upgrade in the next month or two.

My work is located in the middle of the busy season and I cannot take the server down and impossible to install anything that could cause a hard accident and not to start again.

I'm in the middle of an upgrade of the network and we'll go virtual with this server with as many others as I can.

I need to this Terminal Server to stop crashing and to find a solution for it, while the summer crowd is full swing at my work and it will improve after this summer.

    Any help would be awesome.

  • Update of security for the SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4 (KB960082)

I have tried to run this update for MONTHS now, but have not had the time to research the problem so far.

I am running Windows XP Professional Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr. 090804-1435: Service Pack 3)

When I try to run the update, the installation fails. Update history gives me the error Code: 0 x 643.

I went to the Article number 958052 Knowledge Base that had me activate the logging, update retry and off the record. He then told me to contact Microsoft Support for assistance. But when I tried to do this, Microsoft wanted to charge me $259 for help. I'm sorry, but I don't think that I would have to pay for Microsoft fix their own mistakes.

The last really successful update was KB978542 on 02/06/10, but number KB979683 says also has been a success, it reinstalls whenever I have try KB960082.

As far as I know, I don't even have SQL Server 2000 installed on this computer. If I do, I've never consciously used, so I don't know yet why I need this update.

Can anyone help me get this update installed so I can move forward?

  • In SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 UltraLiteJ synchronization

    Hi all

Does anyone know how to synchronize to SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 UltraLiteJ?

I tried this, but there is an error showed.

Detected a version unknown or damaged configuration of the MobiLink system under owner 'dbo '.

I had created a DSN. But when I created the synchronization model, it failed, I could shoot.

When I run the MS-DOS command prompt Mobilink server, an error has occurred again,

[- 10002] "Consolidated database server or ODBC error: ODBC: [Microsoft] [ODBC SQL Server driver] [SQL Server] Login failed for user (null)".
Reason: Not associated with a SQL Server login that is approved. (State = 28000 ODBC, Native error code is 18452)

Could someone help me with the setting and the code maybe?

    Hi Hari,

You can ignore the warning 'version' unknown or damaged The synchronization model compares its own set of system tables against what you have in SQL Server and responds with this warning if it detects a difference. The comparison is strict, and it may signal a difference for reasons such as unusual places or different ODBC drivers. The message should have been accompanied by a detailed description, which would explain what he saw different.

Looks like your MobiLink server starts correctly and connects to the database. If it does not start successfully, you should see a message "Server MobiLink has begun" in the server window, and you should not see any entries in the window of the server starting with 'E'.

So if you have deployed your synchronization model, and the server is started, the next question is why your synchronization failed. It would be useful to retrieve the codes of error on the device, software versions and the MobiLink log entries using a comprehensive framework as - v + on the MobiLink command line. I would suggest that we are pursuing in the Sybase for MobiLink newsgroup, where you will find a number of people who are more expert that I am to all aspects of MobiLink.

You can access newsgroups via the web or by using a News Reader. The starting point for the two is http://www.sybase.com/support/community-forums and the newsgroup you need is sybase.public.sqlanywhere.mobilink (http://www.sybase.com/detail?id=1009240 ).

I think this would be your best way to go for that matter.

  • How many Pro 7 integrate with server 2000?

I have a small office network running Server 2000.

The processors are more old PC, running XP Pro.  In my view, they are 32-bit.  They are HPs purchased in 2004, but I don't have the rest of the features in front of me.
I am curious about the CPU upgrade to Windows 7 Pro, but have 2 concerns.
How well Windows 7 Pro communicates with Server 2000?
How smoothly 7 Pro runs on 32-bit computers?  In other words, the my CPU are too old to really appreciate the upgrade?

Upgrade to vintage 2004 PC to Windows 7, although possible, is very impractical and a bad investment.
RAM is a big problem (how even support apart from the older cost of SDRAM), former slower processors, etc.   Really wouldn't make sense.

  • MSSQL Server 2000 to Oracle 11 g: error on the Migration repository linking

Hello! I'm currently migrating a MS SQL Server 2000 database to Oracle 11 g. With the help of:

SQL Developer Version 4.0.2.15 Build 15.21

    JDK1.7.0_65

I sysad account in MS SQL Server 2000, but have limited the privilege with Oracle 11 g as we have another group of TI that govern. Reading the documentation of migration said in the tutorial of migration of a database server Microsoft SQL to Oracle Database 11 g, I asked our IT to create the user using the following script:

    CREATING USER MWREP
    IDENTIFIED BY mwrep
    DEFAULT TABLESPACE MWREP_DATA
    TEMPORARY TABLESPACE TEMP;

    GRANT CONNECT, RESOURCE, CREATE SESSION, SEE at MWREP;

Using the user defined MWREP, I tried to create the migration repository using SQL Developer, but it returned an error:

SQL error on executing the Script

Try to delete the repository before the creation of repository

I tried to delete the repository, but he returned a denunciation of the question:

Removal of the migration repository is completed, however, there was a problem with the deletion.  There may be several reasons for this. (1) the connection is not open.  (2) the repository has been damaged.  (3) there was no repository in this regard.  Db objects have not been deleted. The saved connection has been removed from the migration repository list

Reading further, I came across these topics: How to remove a directory, How to associate Migration repository when using the tooland https://blogs.oracle.com/OCP10to11/entry/sqldeveloper_try_deleting_repoand learns that it is caused by a limited tablespace. Given that our IT run the following script to change the user MWREP:

    ALTER USER MWREP QUOTA UNLIMITED ON MWREP_DATA;

But I still encounter the same error than repository migration association. Do I need a sysad privilege to continue with the association? (The generated code will run in by IT after conversion and translation). Do not change the quota of the user on the tablespace not yet enough?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance!
