HP ENVY 5530: low ink

I got an instant subscription of ink because I bought the machine. Both the cartridge color and black cartridge have been sent to me months ago, but I didn't get a level indicator is still low. But I'm finally starting to get some faulty pages. The test pages don't seem to show cyan. I cleaned the print heads (two steps). Seen how long I am gone with my welcome kit (delivered in August 2014) I wouldn't be surprised if the change of the cartridge woudn't fix. But I was not ordered to do.   I just discovered this program an expert so I thought I'd give it a try, or I could go using ink instant...

  • HP Envy 5530: What ink HP Instant send me?

Trying to learn how to use my new 5530 envy, I used a lot of black ink in the cartridges supplied with the printer.   Still have the color.

My question is - when black ink is gone and I insert the new cartridge of black (from the "welcome package), and if I use this black ink, HP just send me a new black cartridge and a color cartridge also.  In other words, are they still both be sent simultaneously or individually as needed?   (Then send me a color cartridge when the printer indicates that it is necessary.)  I'll probably still use more black ink in my impression from day to day I don't print many photos.

Hope that this issue of hiking is clear for you.

Really like my 5530 - especially wireless printing from Android Tablet and laptop.

They will send the cartridge which is inadequate. If you are about to run out of black ink, you will get a black cartridge only.

  • HP Envy 5530: Yellow ink not print

Yellow Ink stopped printing with the Tricolor cartridge; replaced by the new HP cartridge and not yet. Also tricolour ink not detected.

Tried all the steps HP support, including the persistent page terminals on the cartridge and to the holder. Also reinstalled driver. No change.

Is this a hardware problem? The printer is only 6 months old and so under warranty, but I buy an Epson if it is!

    All ideas welcome

    Thank you

6 months and under warranty. Call HP for replacement.

  • printer Envy 5530: Instant ink page

I got when I went to my Flash page of ink that he was telling me how many pages I print to this day and still, he says nothing, is there somewhere on the printer I get this info? Its been a few weeks, I have to wait longer? its not up to date?

    Hello @sassejan ,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that you fear that your instant ink account does not display the used pages.

    I would like to help.

If you have not installed one of the welcome package ink cartridges, then the pages are not been saved.

I mean, it's, you subscribed to instant ink but the program is not active.

Ink does not get monitored and pages have not counted until the program is activated.

If you have installed instant ink cartridges, you may have a communication problem.

Simple network troubleshooting usually gets this problem.

I can help you with this, but depending on how long the connection problem that has passed, this could lead to surpluses on the number of pages.

So lets take a moment to see what you need to do.

1 do you have instant cartridges installed in the printer?

not - so don't worry about the number of pages until you do.

Yes - tap web services (2) icon to see if there is a server connection error.

  • HP Envy 5530: Instant ink

I enrolled for the instant HP ink service but just got an email saying I've exhausted my allocation of pages this month. When I go on my account that there is no information on the number of pages that I used and it told me that there is no connected device. I managed to get another application code then reconnected my printer, but still no information. What I am doing wrong?  How the hell am I supposed to manage my account like this?

  • HP envy 5530: ink cartridge problem

Unfortunately I know that we are no longer covered by the warranty but I'm out of options as to what to do
father rather than use its own printer to print something used our (mine and my mother) and on the last page, we got an error message on the printer screen that says "PROBLEM of CARTRIDGE of INK" with the note to replace the cartridge, now our cartridges arrived by post on Friday and I just went to install a new one now (for when my mother comes back from the cottage) and I still get the same problem.

Well, I think that Youtube is your last hope.

Find out more if necessary.  Otherwise I think that your printer can be roasted.

  • HP Envy 5530: Ink cartridges does not...

I have a US HP Envy 5530 who should use the ink cartridge 61.   I am now back in the United Kingdom and the replacement cartridge says use 301.

When I do that, I get an error on the printer saying that the cartridge is not compatible.

Suggestions (other than track down 61 ink cartrdiges) greatly received.

    See you soon.

    Hi lloydsal!

You can call the HP support at 1800-474-6836 hotline so the tech supervisor can make the process of 'Régionalisation' (on the location that you set on the printer and the cartridge is riding) so you can still use it in the United Kingdom.

    I hope this might help.

  • HP Envy 5530 question about Online versus WiFi and access by HP for ink monitoring program

    Hello

I am new here and also back to the program monthly fresh HPs for the programme of replacement of ink as well, I tried to find the answer to my question but could not.  Then...

My question is, as I don't have a WiFi router (used for tv, netflix etc. at all hours of the day) to use my new HP printer Envy 5530, and given that I am enrolled in the program of ink, this means that my computer itself must stay online 24/7? Or just have my WiFi on 24/7 gives the printer access, it must be monitored by HP for its ink for the monthly subscription levels to be enrolled in the program of HP ink?

    Thank you

    PhyAnnie

    Hello

No need to be on 24/7. Whenever you turn on the printer, it will connect to HP Server you set up normally (you can print, scan, and send it to print).

    Kind regards.

  • HP ENVY 5530: Option of printing black ink

The HP ENVY 5530 has an option to print "BLACK ONLY."?  I want to save ink of color when the color is not necessary.

Your help will be appreciated.  Thank you!

    Hello

Yes it a. copy the value of preferences in the context of quality to select the option "Black ink" only as a default value. Please note: even print in black only, always use a little during the reheating process color inks. HP Envy 5530 can print when one or 2 color ink "tanks" (but not all 3) are empty.

    Kind regards.

  • HP Envy 5530: I replaced the black cartridge in my printer. She refuses to print in black only now.

I ran all the standard tests. Black printing will produce only on cartridge color if used singularly. Print heads have been cleaned. Printer has updated its auto preset and no analysis of a printed item will be printed nor will be a printed document or the other. All prints have tried so far were in black ink. All worked perfectly until the change of the ink cartridge. Replacement cartridge used was a standard 301 HP black cartridge.

Thank you, John. You have same suggestion from HP support as well. But I returned to the store (PC World) and they have exchanged without problem. Also been a new course was working fine before I took it.

  • HP Envy 5530 e-all-in-one: envy 5530 E cannot detect alignment page

I'll put up a new e-all-in-one printer HP Envy 5530. I went through the installation OK, until I got to the part about the alignment of the print cartridges.  It prints the alignment page, it will copy even, so I know the scanner works. I printed several pages and they all look great.  But when I use the ink cartridge alignment tool it does not detect the alignment page in the scanner.

Yes, it is face down on the scanner

Yes, the cartridges are installed OK

    Yes, printing seems good

Yes, the scanner can scan and print pages, even the alignment page

    What else to try?

    Thank you

Well, too bad. I unplugged, moved the card to a regular wall outlet instead of a power strip, and it is turned on, ask to do a print alignment.

I did, it printed the page, I put the page on the scanner and it completed the alignment.

I don't know what the problem was earlier, but it worked this time.

  • HP Envy 5530 impossible to scan

I have a HP Envy 5530.  It is connected to my laptop wireless. At first, I tried to use the programs installed on my laptop Lenovo scan... scanner not connected. Then, I downloaded the application for the 5530 scanner part.

At this point, the scanner is recognized. When you try a scan... It starts and then has a status of "General failure."

Then, I connected the printer to the computer with a cable... same result.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @alyle1028

I wonder if this general failure refers to the hardware itself. You can make a copy?

If you can copy, run the printing and scanning doctor. Printing HP and doctor Scan is a free utility (tool) that allows to quickly solve common printing, scanning and connectivity problems, including but not limited to:

    • Connectivity:

USB: Check that the USB connection from your computer to the HP product works properly.

Network: Verifies that the network connection between your computer and your network is working properly.

    • Device Status Test: checks the errors of the device, such as paper, paper jams, stands transport and paper issues and provides instructions to resolve the error.

    • Driver: checks the driver missing or corrupt files.

    • Device Manager: check the problems in Device Manager that could prevent printing.

    • Device online: check if the product has been suspended or put in offline and then sets the State back in line if necessary.

    • Print queue: checks and clears pending print jobs in the print queue (a newspaper for printing waiting to print).

    • Port Match: check the port settings for the HP product.

    • Device conflicts: check the conflicts with other drivers, such as the other brands of printers.

    • Ink issues: check the cartridges and the ink levels for issues that affect the print quality.

    • Print settings: check and adjust the print quality settings.

    • Test print: print a test page for the assessment of the print quality and provides options for cleaning and if necessary print head alignment.

    • Scan tests: check the scanning mechanism, drivers, and registry entries.

Source:try the HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows

Click here to download and run the print and Scan Doctor > www.hp.com/go/tools

If this does not resolve the problem, after back and let me know if there are all the symbols except the Green checkmarks and what they are next of course. The key is not always easy to identify the key and check mart are in the green circle.

    • If you see only the Green checkmarks (), the tool did not find any problem.

    • If you see green sides (), the utility identified a problem and fix it automatically.

    • If you see yellow exclamation points (), the test failed and requires monitoring of the user, but the step was ignored.

    • If you see a red X (), follow the onscreen instructions to fix the problem.

I can't wait to hear back on your part.

If the ink has been so low, wouldn't the software warned me?

The monitors of ink are only an estimate of the ink levels.  They can be quite a bit.   Suggest you to replace cartridges of weak and check again.
