license for windows family vista premium 64-bit, but need to copy

I have the license for windows vista Home premium 64-bit.  I had to replace the motherboard in my pc.
so I had to reinstall windows, but only had a copy of windows xp from an old computer.
what I have to buy a new copy of windows vista?

Hello

If vista is preinstalled, motherboards change should be done in conjunction with the manufcacturer of the computer

preinstalled OEM licenses are tired to the original material on which they are installed

the license dies when the computer dies

If a retail license, you can change morherboards

borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

  • Windows family vista premium 64-bit fails to install net framework 3.5 sp1 error code 1603

I tried several times to install this update for net framework and have had no success at all. I searched for an answer and also failed with that as well. That's what the Setup log gives me after that windows is unable to install net framework 3.5 sp1. I sure would appreciate it if someone could help me solve this problem. I just bought this pc about 2 months ago and it's the first question that I lived with her. Thank you

To successfully install the update, uninstall all versions of the .NET Framework on the computer, and then reinstall all the versions of the .NET Framework on the computer. You may need to work through more than one of the following methods.

Method 1: Manually remove and reinstall .NET Framework

To remove and reinstall .NET Framework manually, follow these steps:

    1. remove the .NET Framework.

    a. Click Start and then click Control Panel.

    b. double-click Add or remove programs.

    c. Note each version of the .NET Framework is already installed on the computer. Then, uninstall all versions of the .NET Framework.

    d. When you are prompted, restart the computer.

    2. use the Windows Installer CleanUp utility to clean up the State of MSI database for all versions of the .NET Framework.

.      Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. The following file is available for download from the Microsoft Download Center: http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe

    a. install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility as an administrator or a user account that is a member of the local Administrators group.

    b. Click Start, point to all programs and then click Windows Installer Cleanup.

    (c) in the Windows Installer CleanUp utility, remove all Windows Installer for the .NET Framework applications.

    3. restart the computer.

    4. download and reinstall all the versions of the .NET Framework that were previously installed on the computer.
To download .NET Framework 3.5, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=333325FD-AE52-4e35-B531-508D977D32A6&displaylang=en (5. When you are prompted, restart the computer.

Note When you have reinstalled all the versions of the .NET Framework, you can use Windows Update to check for the updates of the .NET Framework.

Method 2: Use the .NET Framework automatic cleanup tool

This tool is not designed as a substitute for the standard uninstall procedure. You should try to perform an uninstall by following the steps in method 1, earlier in this article, before using this cleanup tool.

The .NET Framework cleanup tool removes the .NET Framework for you. For more information about how to obtain and use this tool, visit the following MSDN Web site:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2006/05/30/611355.aspx

Note that this cleanup tool deletes shared files and the registry keys that are used by several versions of the .NET Framework. To ensure that all versions of the .NET Framework work correctly, if you run the cleanup tool to remove the .NET Framework, you must first remove all installed versions of the .NET Framework using this cleanup tool. Then, you must reinstall all previously installed versions, starting with the version number the lowest.

Suppose you have the .NET Framework 1.1 and .NET Framework 2.0 installed on your computer, and you plan to use this cleanup tool. In this scenario, you use the cleanup tool to remove the .NET Framework 1.1 first and then use the cleanup tool to remove the .NET Framework 2.0. After you remove the two versions, you reinstall .NET Framework 1.1 and then install the .NET Framework 2.0, in that order.

  • Toolbox for Color LJ 2550 L for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

I have a laptop HP G71-340US with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit OS.  Finally got my LJ 2550 L color to print from my laptop.  Now I would like to find the box tool for the 2550L.  Only way I can check on the printer is to go to my old PC with XP operating system.  Is there a way to put the box tool on my laptop.  You want to get rid of my old PC.  Thank you!

    Hi precisely.

Because the printer is not an Ethernet port, and there is no comprehensive driver features available, you will not be able to view other toner levels when the printer flashes a light indicating that the toner is low. Here is a link to the supported media card.

  • Please send me the link for Windows 7 Home premium (32-Bit) iso file (no SP 1 or other)?

I have the key for Windows 7 Home premium that came preinstalled on my laptop. Due to software problem I want to fresh install on my laptop. Now, I don't have a installation disc. I need installation CD no SP 1 or so?

Configuration of the laptop: HP pavilion dv4-2103tu

    Please help me.

What is the difference, if it has Service Pack 1? In fact, you must agree with SP1 from RTM images are no longer supported.

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

  • Upgrades of license for Windows XP, Vista, 7

I try to help someone who has a network of field and some problems.  I discovered that computers who have problems the more welcome editions of Microsoft Windows.  I would like to join these computers to the domain, I know cannot be done with the Home editions.  XP Home Edition computers do not have enough material to run Windows 7.  Replace computers is not an option.

    There are:

2 - Windows XP Home Edition computers I want to upgrade to Windows XP Pro.

1 - Windows Vista Home computers I want to upgrade to Vista Business.

4 - Windows 7 family computers I want to upgrade to Windows 7 Pro

    Should what license I buy?

    Suggestions are welcome.

Unfortunately, Microsoft does not offer more licenses Windows XP or Windows Vista.  It would be wise to invest in new computers with Windows 7 Professional pre-installed.  Examples

You can make a Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade by buying a Windows Anytime Upgrade: Windows 7 Home Premium to professional for each computer running Windows 7 Home Premium.

  • I need a download site for windows 7 Home premium 32-bit, I have a product key

Try to upgrade to Windows 7 Home premium Vista SP2. Bought the upgrade of Office Depot, but do not have a cd to load just the product key.

You have purchased an Express upgrade. Windows 7 Anytime Upgrades are only intended to upgrade an existing edition of Windows 7 to a higher edition, example: Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional or ultimate edition.

You must return the product and buy the right type of license:

    Refund:

Items ordered from Microsoft Store online:

    http://store.Microsoft.com/help/returns-refunds

Where to buy the license of right:

    Update of prices:

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/HTML/pbPage.Windows_Upgrade_Matrix

When important changes to your computer, for example an upgrade, it is always recommended that you back up your system before installing a new version of Windows. In your case, you can upgrade to Windows 7 depending on the edition and the architecture of Windows Vista, you have installed. If you are running a 32-bit version of Vista and upgrade to a 64-bit (Windows 7 edition) version, you'll have a pure make install, it is the opposite case.

If you are using Windows Vista Home Basic or Premium consumer editions, you can only upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate. In addition, you can make downgrades, which means, if you are running Windows Vista Ultimate Edition now, you cannot downgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium. You perform logical upgrades:

Windows Vista Home Basic > Windows 7 Home Basic, Premium or Ultimate

Windows Vista Edition Home Premium > Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate

Windows Vista Business > Windows 7 Professional, enterprise or ultimate edition

Windows Vista Business > Windows 7 Enterprise

Windows Vista Ultimate > Windows 7 Ultimate.

My Harddrive got fried so know I try to get my system going again, but I don't have a copy of my OS. I have a license for my copy I don't have the disk to install it. Is there somewhere I can download to leave or get a copy from?

    10220709,

If your OS is a licensed OEM version, you will need to contact the computer manfacturer for replacement.

  • Slow connection (10-15 seconds) for Windows 7 Home Premium administrator accounts, but not standard accounts

I have a new computer with a new installation of Windows 7 Home Premium.
This is a pretty fast PC with an i7 2600 and an SSD.

When I log on to an administrator account, it takes about 10-15 seconds, however when I connect to a standard account, it takes less than a second.

I can create a standard account, sign a bunch of times immediately, then give him admin privileges and it suddenly starts to take 10-15 seconds. He switch back to the standard, and login is immediate.

Any ideas what may be the cause?

    Hello

    1. do you receive an error message while starting?

    2. did you make any changes before this problem?

I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Try to start in safe mode and check if you face same issue here as well.

Solve the problem in safe mode:                                                                  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Step 2: Try a clean boot and see if it helps.

How to solve problems by performing a clean boot in Windows 7: http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135 Note: once the diagnosis is made the steps in step 7, try to reset the computer as usual.

Also try the procedure described in the article Microsoft provided to improve the performance of the computer: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Ways-to-improve-your-computers-performance

    I hope that helps!
