• Updated App with different DPS license

  Can someone advise me on the following scenario. I have a multi App edition, version 1.0 live in the Apple store using the DPS account [email protected]

  I then upgraded the application 2.0 on the Apple store, but the new version uses a different account DPS, [email protected]

  What happens in this scenario? Especially for users of the application who have purchased a subscription to the title of the version 1.0 (ie the other DPS account).

  You must first build the new application for a new account using the same certificates and using the same bundle id and include the same product id subscription in App Builder. Then you must republish the folios of account new account DPS application. Publish these older folios with the same product id. • Licenses for fonts for folios DPS App

  I am trying to get my head around fonts for applications DPS licenses. During the edition folios in format PDF is not all converted images on export? I found licenses of fonts that have an application include option but say that whatever it is part of an 'image' does not require an app incorporate license but rather just the regular user. I understand that different foundries will have different licenses and agreements but an overview of the use of general policies with DPS would be much appreciated. Currently, my apps are only iOS but we can explore Android in the future.

  Fonts are handled differently according to the format of the selected item:

  PNG/JPEG-the police is not included in the article since we create an image of what looks like the page and using them on the device.

  PDF: The police is only the characters used by the article subset and is then included in the article. To be clear, it is a subset of the police, not all embedded.

  I want to build an application multi-folio as my final thesis for my client project.

  My client is a small monthly editors that run on a programme of charity for the vegan community.

  But I found that we cannot create applications without the license DPSuite and the price that people talk is a little high.

  And I can't use another way to download with adobe DPSuite folio (this one I don't know)

  Please correct me if I'm wrong with what I've got, because I was confused with the Adobe DPS publishing system.

  1. If we need a DPSuite license to build an app?

  2. is there another way to download .folio instead of using adobe DPSuite?

  3. is there a program of tests or student subscribe who can help me to build an app for my folio?

  4. is there a difference between DPSuite and DPSolution? I use DPSuite because I use Indesign cc 2014

  1. Yes. If you want to build a custom multi-folio DPS application you need a DPS license.

  2. What do you mean upload? You can view folios in our Adobe Content Viewer, but need a license to create a custom application.

  Then you need to either:

  (1) sign up for cloud creative then you can build a simple edition approx. attention however: this approach will no longer valid as of May 1, when we withdraw support for a unique creative cloud and unique edition apps are only on devices iPad.

  (2) sign up for a full license of DPS. You can request information on prices using Adobe | Request for consultation.

• DPS App Builder requires a serial number for assets

  I am a user of creative cloud and wonder a serial number inside DPS App Builder.

  This is a known issue and adobe has released a fix, this however doesn't fix it for me:

  I have the latest indesign CC and you follow the steps to remove and reinstall DPS App Builder three times with the digital edition Patch. If you follow the instructions to select "create app' inside the constructor folio in indesign - it launches DPS App Builder." It automatically connect me and takes me to the "start page" where I can eith "learn more" or manage.
  

  I expect that I would take to another screen having recognized that I am creating an application - in which I can add the assets directly.

  From there I selected "continues to manage view" and then click on 'New' and load in the .zip (which had been created by the DPS producer: Organizer) and assets (icons).

  The next step is to activate but I amd asked a serial number.

  

  After update indesign, following the instructions to remove and delete the DPS App Builder and reinstall. Ensuring that I clear the cache of the browser and sign everything - why, after following the instructions I I always request a serial number?

  A few details:

  DPS App Builder is V 3.0.0 (r30.16)

  InDesign 9.2.1 (CC)

  Mac OSX 10.9.3

  I followed the installation instructions: AdobeDigitalPublishingPatch-CC - 30.0.1

  I also tried (as recommended by adobe) reinstall the Panel of Folio Builder - strangely for CS 5.5 (FolioPanel - CS5.5 - 30.0.1)

  Good question and check what I think I spotted the problem with that.

  A secondary account is joint membership plan.

  It was my mistake forgetting it - the license should have set up at the main account, however after moving from country Adobe would not be welcome.

• Creating an app in app DPS Builder?

  I am creating a test app Iphone (kiosk) before the post, but when I go to 'create an app' in Indesign, the DPS application builder charges upward, but does not give me the ability to create an Iphone, just a one Ipad application?

  I noticed my version of the app Builder DPS is on simple editing but I have a developers license now so I guess that would have changed?

  Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

  If you have a professional subscription or company DPS, use the Administration tool of accounts to assign 'DPS App Builder' and 'Application' of the roles to one or more e-mail accounts. Use the Adobe ID with a role of DPS App Builder to connect to the App Builder. When you create an iOS app, you should see an option for iPhone.

• Cannot remove App from the DPS App Builder

  I've already entered my serial number and got the .zip and .ipa files.  However, I would like to remove this app and start over.  Since I was a single license, I can only work with a single application entirely built at the same time. Remove the button is grayed out.

  DPS simple edition customers must contact the technical support for this. I saw that you have already contacted support fopr.

  Meanwhile, since you have rebuilt your Mobile provisioning files and you need to redo the app, I deleted your app App buildeer and reset your serial key. Go ahead and build the app again.

  Hello, our company uses under license server Weblogic 12 c and we use now ADF 12 c. We are allowed to use the JET to build a small client demand on top of Weblogic + ADF? (This is not an internal app; we have not begun to use Oracle cloud)

  You are correct in your assumptions.  Today, you need an Oracle Cloud license to distribute a production application using Oracle JET.

  We'll be open sourcing Oracle JET very soon however.

• Cannot start DPS App Builder

  Hi

  After a long time only working with DPS2015, I do some chores with DPS2014 SE.

  That's why I tried to start the DPS APP Builder. But I can't launch:

  * In Indesign with folio chosen, I can click on 'Create' App. then I see a gauge "App Builder is underway" but subsequently no app Builder.

  * Apple Spotlight or in Applications I find DPS App Builder. But clicking on it does not start the application.

  * I already downloaded the latest Version (32.4.5) from the Adobe website and installed.

  * I already removed the app and installed the new.

  * I rebooted my macbook.

  * I uninstalled App Buiolder DPS by moving it to the trash

  * I emptied the trash, too (and emptied the download folder, too)

  * I deleted the browser cache

  * I re-uploaded the DPS App Builder Image and installed again - no problems

  But I can't throw :-(

  Any other ideas?

  PS: I also can not start previewer folio (tool that I did not really, because I test better with the Adobe Viewer on my iPad. But maybe the two things have the same reason.

  Yes, these are the two most recent versions. I do not know why you can no longer launch DPS App Builder. Have you entered in the Applications folder and tried by double clicking on the app? If so, I would like to delete it in the Applications folder, reinstall it, and then try again. If this does not work, contact technical support.

  I am trying to activate an app, I built. I am in the final stage in the DPS application builder and I want to activate my application, however his request my serial number.

  I am a student CC user but I can't find my serial number, it has never sent to me and I don't know if I'm suppose to have one, or if I have to apply. But I have to activate my application and I can not forward that I need my serial number, any help?

  I guess that you are referring to a simple editing application. This product is no longer available as a stand alone or through creative cloud.
