  I'm working on the POC project and try to join several databases to create a file of RPD. Lets say I have complete SH schema from Oracle and I want two or three paintings (time and products) from Sybase.
  I want to put sybase TIME and product of the tables in the Oracle SH schema and create joins in the physical layer. When I try to do, it is throughing a mistake... Am I missing something here?

  We can create b & w to join tables in different databases
  You must select a database table and as well as another table in the database and
  Right click > physical join > selected tables only...

  This is how to create physical joins... or else you databases and select physical joins...

  It is preferable that you mention, what is the error you get... ??

  Agree with Courtney. You can create a SQL in OEM work for the creation of 6 user accounts and run it against all the targets of 500 or more. Targets all credentials must registered OEM.

  Alternatively, you can save that work to the library for future use

  As it is said, as long as you have a license of RDBMS, you need not a separate license for DG4ODBC. If confusion is where it says "Oracle Database Gateway for ODBC can be installed and used on a different machine," then it is just to clarify that you run the gateway on a machine completely separated from the performer the RDBMS under license, but you can also run DG4ODBC on the same machine where the RDBMS is installed.
  If you install 11g DG4ODBC on the same machine where you have a 10g RDBMS then it must be installed in an another ORACLE_HOME.

  If this still isn't clear, so please come back and let us know exactly what you need to clarify.

  1 export ORACLE_SID = sid_name

  The value of sql_id, I'm supposed to find all the information on the sliders for my SELECT statement and also its value sql_text in v$ sql. Here is what I get when I query v$ sql on the stored sql_id

  After a little googling, I found the next thread on OTN forum, where it was suggested (well, I think that may not be exactly the same problem) to disable SERVEROUTPUT.

  After that, I repeated the procedure as a whole and this time everything worked pretty much as expected. I checked SQL * more documentation for SERVEROUTPUT

  are queired. I don't really understand the link in what concerns the impact that can have on the other or better say rather, why is there an impact

  SET SERVEROUTPUT ON has the effect of dbms_output.get_lines running after each statement. Not only related to the system view.

  Below is what Tom Kyte is explained in this page:

  Now, sqlplus sees this feature and says "Hey, it wouldn't be nice for me to empty the buffer to the screen for the user? Thus, they added the command SQLPlus "set serveroutput we" which does two things

  (1) he tells SQLPLUS you would like run dbms_output.get_lines after each statement. You would like to make this network rounded up after each call. You want that this additional load will take place (think of a script of installation with hundreds / thousands of statements to run - maybe, just maybe you don't want this extra call after each call)

  (2) SQLPLUS automatically calls the API dbms_output "activate" to activate the buffering which is in the package.

• LabVIEW makes my web page hang when it updates the data of access database

  I'm working on labview (signal acquisition and insertion into a database) and visual studio (Web page design) and I faced this problem when the Web page tries to update the database of microsoft Data Access.

  Whenever I VI, DQA will acquire analog input from a circuit and pass the value in a database for the Web page retrieve and update and display the latest data on the Web page. But for some reason, whenever I run the VI, the data refresh is is arrested to the Web page and updates only when I stopped the vi and whenever I try to refresh the page, it will display a runtime error. I wonder if it is possible to do the update of page Web in real time instead of simply update that when the vi is stopped and what are the causes the Web page to stop the update (labview Web side/page side).

  I use IIS to host the Web page and labview 8.6/toolkit database connectivity for data acquisition and store it in the access database.

  In my view, that it is a limitation of the Jet database. If I remember, Jet uses the locking of the 'page '. Exactly the same thing happened to me on a large scale with several testers. The solution was to use a sophiticated more like MySQL or SQL Server Express database.

  Engines operated but nothing changed.

  I used furry side (not spicy) velcro glued with glue to the impact. I chose this side because when I put a level on a sample of both, the soft side of fur was very slightly more thin.

  5.) details/example: I want to tear the piece "Maria Maria by Carlos Santana" to my laptop as a Windows Media Audio [WMA] file.  In addition, I would like to rip the song 'Maria Maria' three several times with 3 different bitrates in format WMA; and, as an MP3 file.  Therefore, my final result wished (after the extraction process), will take place the four 4 audio files split up as follows: (a) 'Maria Maria by Carlos Santana'--> Format: file WMA; Ripped @128 Kbps bitrate.  (b) ' Maria Maria by Carlos Santana'--> Format: file WMA; Ripped to the "Variable bit rate; (c) ' Maria Maria by Carlos Santana'--> Format: file WMA; Ripped commissioning "Lossless." and (d). 'Maria Maria by Carlos Santana'--> Format: MP3 file. Ripped @256 Kbps bitrate.

  6.) my preference: I do NOT want to rename the file (s). {for example, 'Maria Maria by Carlos Santana' renamed/changed for--> "Maria_Maria_by_Carlos_Santana_128kbps.wma",...} 'Maria_Maria_by_Carlos_Santana_256kbps.mp3 '; etc.}.  In addition, I am not concerned about the additional disk space that will be consumed after multiple copies of the same song with different speeds of transmission and different formats.

  7.) my experience w / Windows Media Player 10 (w / the operating system of Windows XP): using WMP - 10, my goal (s) described above is not a problem at all.  Simply insert the CD purchased by Carlos Santana, containing the song "Maria Maria"... Select the desired Format (WMA; WMA VBR; WMA Lossless; or mp3)... Select the desired flow rate (WMA... 128/160/192kbps_mp3: 128/192/256/320 kbit / s; etc.) ; and click on the "RIP" button to start the copy process on the hard disk of of Carlos Santana's "Maria Maria".  This process (w / WMP-10) would result in having the same song, copied on the hard disk, with levels of quality different "audio" (via the different bit rate settings); regardless of the format (MP3/WMA) which was chosen.

  8.) my experience w / Windows Media Player 11 (w / the operating system of Windows XP): using WMP 11, to described above of my objective (s) could not be reached e-a-s-i-l-y.  The problem with WMP - 11 - in short - which was after the desired selection "Rip settings" tab 'Options' of WMP - 11 (i.e., Format & Bit Rate) and heart-wrenching piece wanted to {'Maria Maria by Carlos Santana'} a moment later/second, WMP11 remove / would crush the previous version of the song [even].  Therefore, the program would NOT allow the user to have multiple copies of the same song on the hard drive of the PC; which obviously restricts a user to have the freedom to choose what level of quality digital audio, they prefer to listen to.

  9.) the ability to have multiple copies [at my descretion] of the same song (on my hard drive) with different bitrates and formats in my music library, is important for me because it has a direct impact on "how I enjoy MY music ', and in what form (audio quality), I choose to listen to my music.  {For example, when I exercise and listening to my camera, digital audio player (Zune), a song ('Maria Maria by Carlos Santana'), will usually be torn off at a lower rate due to the unit of capacity reduction of storage - compared to the storage capacity of notebook PCs/desktop/external hard drives PC.}  However, when I listen to my music through my home cinema or entertainment system (which contains a hard disk dedicated with a large storage capacity), I prefer to load the entertainment system with digital music files that have been ripped to WMA... with the bit being rate-setting is for the: settings "WMA Variable Bit Rate" or "WMA Lossless.

  10.) there you have it.  This is my first post in this forum.  I hope that [detailed] explanations, will be sufficient to encourage these "with knowledge & the hands on experience" using Windows Media Player 12 (as well as with WMP-10/WMP-11 respectively), by providing a [step] "How-to"... "solution to my situation.  It would be highly appreciated.  I'm looking forward-'the solution' - and relevant suggestions & and/or community feedback regarding my request for assistance.

  Certainly, you can, but I would say that they be in different folders, for your convenience as well as Windows.  You can create one for each debit/format, then you will know who is who.

  In Windows Media Player, on the toolbar, select Tools, Options, Rip, and then select the flow you want first, rip music, then change the folder (higher on the same tab) and rip again... and so on and so forth.

  When you are at home on your home theater, you can use the 320 bitrate folder, when you transfer to the Zune, you can use one of the lower bitrate files (although I personally tear it up to 320 and let the Zune reduce as he wants, even with the iPhone via iTunes, hard drive space is not really a problem here) my server has several hard drives, and I can always add more if and when space is low!

  We would require both approval of external/transitive way between the two domains.

  There are 2 ways to work around the problem:

  1. install an another ACS to the remote site/domain and route all the

  applications for users of the remote domain to the ACS.

  2 configure the partner domain as LDAP on GBA (Corp. website), this should not require domain trust. The only problem that we will have some authentication methods is not supported when using ldap.

  You cannot share the ORACLE_HOMEs for EBS databases - each instance requires a separate ORACLE_HOME/dedicated. What business or technical problem are you trying to solve?

  Despite the remarks about oradim, you will generally need to run explicitly. Take your question at face value, the procedure is quite simple:

  1. install the oracle RDBMS software

  1.1 you can choose to have a database created as part of the installation, or not.  If you choose to create one as well as the installation, the installer will call the utility "dbca" once installation is complete.  DBCA is "Database Configuration Wizard" and utility oracle for creation, deletion and some configurations of databases.  This makes things easier, but everything can be done manually by calling "oradim", then from sqlplus and issue of an appropriate CREATE DATABASE statement followed invocation of several sql scripts located in ORACLE_HOME\rdbms\admin.

  2. to create a database after the software installation is complete (your first database, or an extra), just run the utility "dbca.

  The dbca utility will take care of configuring the necessary Windows services.

  Yes, you can have several databases (running different ORACLE_SIDs) the ORACLE_HOME even on a single server.

  I suspect that the ORA-12520 error was the result of certain constraints of resources (cpu, memory or i/o) resulting in the inability to create a new database session.
