I had 2 vista oem DVD for 2 computers one was thrown out because he fell out of old age, the other i always use but reformatted and put windows 7 oem on it. can I sell both these vista oem media? > it has been activated, but they are no longer in use I would rather get $30 or something for them on ebay then nothing since I paid about $150 ea for them originally. ? wat would be the process, the person would have an error of activation by telephone and their explanation would be legal and acceptable?   So, I have two computers right now, and I am trying to install the version of my Vista OEM on the first computer.

  As long as you use the same motherboard, you can reinstall the components in a new folder and still meets the standards of Vista OEM license agreement.

• XP to Vista OEM

  People,

  In my previous posts in it, I was lucky enough to have access to Microsoft Volume licenses. Currently, however, this is not the case. This leaves me a little of a link being that the company does not want to spend money on upgrades.

  Which brings me to my question - a handful of our machines are still running XP. HP OEM XP. Of these machines, the majority of them is licensed to Vista and have been downgraded to XP. This being the case, I am now able to upgrade these machines to Vista using OEM license?

  Vista Business has been the only OS that Microsoft obtained the right to downgrade to XP Pro for.

  Do not for example rights to downgrade from Vista Home Premium to XP Home or Pro.

  Virtually no consumer PC came with Vista Business. There was a custom order.
