Lighting in 3D not reflecting is not as expected

Hey everybody,

Well the pest is back with another 3D in CS6 question... I'm trying to use on my office ceiling here lighting to simulate light reflecting on a wooden floor. As you can see, the reflections do not appear very well. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to increase the intensity of the illumination of ceiling reflected in this digital room?

Thanks in advance,

Andy

Display in 32-bit mode. Make it a material lights lighting like in real life. If you have modeled them separately to the ceiling, then you can assign a color to high intensity lighting. If they are just 'painted' on the ceiling, then use a texture of enlightenment as in the example below. Note that I have set the scene for having hidden the faces back, reason for which the ceiling is not rendered in the view above it.

    No idea why?

    Hello

    Maybe it's a question of s a Win 7.
    I mean that the software is not intended for Win 7 but only for Vista.

    But you should check if you can reconfigure this button again.
    In Toshiba Assist-> optimize, you can find the Support of Toshiba Button tool.
    This tool can be used for the new configuration of the control buttons.

    First click on the button that you want to reconfigure and target path you can then choose the path to the exe file that must be executed by pressing this button.

    As far as I know that the exe files are placed in the program files/Toshiba/TSB folder.

    You will find different applications and one of these applications control the light on/off.

  • Example of Date comparison work not as expected...

    First of all, sorry for the creation of another post.  Didn't know if I should of just added to a previous message (s) now that I have an example of comparison of date/time works do not as expected.

    I understand that the calendar will use the time zone for the device.  My device is located to the EAST (-0500).

    The following code works fine when the time is set to h, however, does not as expected when in AM...

    java.util.Calendar d1 = java.util.Calendar.getInstance (); now
    java.util.Calendar d2 = java.util.Calendar.getInstance (); now

    String date = ' 11/10/2011-05:05;

    yy int = 0, mm = 0, SD = 0, h = 0, e = 0;

    mm = Integer.parseInt (date.substring (0, 2)) - 1; January = 0
    DD = Integer.parseInt (date.substring (3, 5));
    YY = Integer.parseInt (date.substring (6, 10));
    HR = Integer.parseInt (date.substring (11,13));
    MI = Integer.parseInt (date.substring (14.16));

    D2. Set (Calendar.YEAR, AA);
    D2. Set (Calendar.MONTH, mm);
    D2. Set (Calendar.DATE, dd);
    D2. Set (Calendar.HOUR, human resources);
    D2. Set (Calendar.MINUTE, mi);
    D2. Set (Calendar.MILLISECOND, 0);

    String ampm = date.substring (17, 19);
    If (ampm is 'AM')
    {
    D2. Set (Calendar.AM_PM, Calendar.AM);
    }
    on the other
    {
    D2. Set (Calendar.AM_PM, Calendar.PM);
    }

    long t1 = d1.getTime () .getTime ();
    long t2 = d2.getTime () .getTime ();

    String strCurrentDate = new Date (t1) m:System.NET.SocketAddress.ToString ();
    String strActivateDate = new Date (t2) m:System.NET.SocketAddress.ToString ();

    If (t1 > = t2)
    Dialog.Inform ("current date of" + strCurrentDate + "is superior to activate date of" + strActivateDate);
    If (t1<>
    Dialog.Inform ("current date of" + strCurrentDate + "is less that activate date of" + strActivateDate);

    The result of current date/time is fine, but the result for strActivateDate is returned as "Tue Oct 11 17:15:48 2011 America/New_York '.  Date is fine, however, is not time.  Time ends as PM (17:05).

    Am I missing something obvious here?  Again, excuse me for the post, maybe should added on the previous post, but I think that this new post can be useful to others in the same situation.  Would appreciate any comments.  Thank you 1 million.

    Hello

    What model of laptop do you have?

  • Satellite A500-138 - lighting buttons does not work even in the BIOS

    Hello.

    I'm just curious to know if anyone else has a problem with the (play/pause excatly) multimedia keyboard backlight? Mine died today, and there is nothing I can do to make it work again.

    The key still works, but when I turn on the backlight, backlight on everyone, but the play/pause (the backlight of the other keys work, touchpad and Satellite logo too).

    I use Windows 7, but the problem persists even in the BIOS.

    I think the backlight of the button is just dead.

    I have to admit I'm really disappointed with this laptop. Config is great, design and are also involved, but I can just take the couine noise that makes C2D (RMClock, one utility, I know that to solve this problem, does not recognize the A500 motherboard) and the fan almost never works to 70%, and now that the backlight...

    If the backlight of the multimedia key stops working after 3 weeks of use, which will be in the future? It's too scary to think ;)

    I was really excited by Toshiba, but day after day I come to the conclusion, that it is the first and the last laptop that I bought at Toshiba - never had similar problems on other laptops, same nonames.

    Of course, I know that I can has sent for fix, I guarantee (and wait about a month to get a backlight fixed stupid). But why hell not the backlight stoped working, if LEDs vitality is long as hell? It can mean two things: I really don't have a chance, or Toshiba did not pay too much attention to detail during production A500s. And after 3 weeks of use, I fear that the second option is much more likely...

    Then, someone has a feeling similar to this topic? And someone has a problem with backlight?

    Hello

    He damage of s to hear that your light has stopped working, but I think that it s just a software problem.
    I have a Satellite A500 equipped with buttons of enlightenment and everything works great with Vista and XP I m very satisfied.
    Unfortunately until that yet I didn't test with Win 7.

    I doubt you want to send this laptop for ASP, as I said, there seems to be a software problem and you can find it easily
    You must set the notebook to factory settings I mean that you must use the recovery disc in order to get the same State as on the first day of purchase

    Moreover, I visited the European driver of Toshiba page and, unfortunately, I didn't see no Win 7 drivers for this series at this time
    I guess that Windows 7 drivers will be released in the near future.
    So I wonder how you came to the button illumination because this feature requires the Toshiba driver and tools as well as the drivers aren't there?  :|

  • Satellite A300-1HV: light button does not work

    Hi guys,.

    I recently bought a Satellite A300-1HV, and while that in the store, the salesman showed me it was possible to turn off the light behind the function/media at the top of the keyboard buttons. It seems to do by simply pressing the first button (the mute button).

    When I got home I tried several times, and he did in fact machine do what I expected (i.e. off lighting). The manual describes the first button under the button "Mute or LED power. Later that night, I tried the button again once, but this time it acted as a mute button and either turns off the lighting. In addition, the second button (CD/DVD) no longer seems to work at all, although it lights up when you press.

    I tried the Toshiba Assist software and am able to manually turn off the lighting, but the 'Toshiba button Support' seems to have no effect on buttons. I guess this would allow me to set up manually a program runs when I press one of two buttons, but no matter what I ask it to run, it does nothing.

    It's as if there is a piece of software that should be run, leading the keys, that I do not have (or at least no longer have).

    Any ideas?

    Hello

    You can enable this back in the BIOS.
    You can access this menu by pressing the F2 key when turned on the machine.

    Select the Advanced section and turn on LED lighting.

    See you soon

  • Light bar will not move from the Park position when the cover flat is in place.

    I need to copy a piece of a book of music, mark it for repetition.  The book is thick enough that I must leave the cover upward.  The first 6 copied pages OK, but now all I get is a page of alll-gray.  The light bar doesn't move; It sounds like it is stuck, but only when the cover is in place.  The cover down (copy of one sheet), it works fine.

    I thought about it!  The diference between copies who worked and those who did not was the size of the paper that I used to hide the unwanted materials.  For those who worked, the sheet lying on the light bar.

    Apparently the light bar requires a white surface facing the flat, or it won't work.

  • HP Pavilion F6 / Mute key Light-Now does not?

    Hello

    A little over a week ago, I went out and bought a HP Pavilion 15 laptop-e092ea.

    It's a brilliant machine and I'm really happy with it, but there is just one small thing that has popped up.

    I'm sure many of you know, Pavilion series laptops have a mute very practice that serves to the F6 key. This key is a small LED that lights up when you press on to show that the computer is cut.  Until yesterday that the light was working fine until something came on the screen mentioning an update of the BIOS. I went ahead with the update and everything seemed fine. I then discovered that the LED was not lit when I used the key to turn off the computer.

    I tried to reinstall the audio drivers and restart the computer several times after reading some information on the forums, but nothing works. The key still works perfectly, but given that the computer is fairly new, I just fix the problem. I would take it to a repair place, but it is too small and the pricing is not fair in the slightest.

    The lights of the Caps Lock, button / stop and led for Mode without wire/flight work, it's just that touch Mute, that does not illuminate. As I said, this is a minor thing but I would be nice just to have working again.

    I am running Windows 8.1 if it's of any help.

    Anyone know how I can fix this problem? The update of the BIOS could affect it at all?

    Thanks to all those who can help you.

    Thanks for your reply.

    In fact, I managed to get the light works again after reinstallation of an audio driver using HP Recovery Manager.

    I tried to reinstall the driver using the Windows Device Manager, but it had not worked.

    As soon as I used the Recovery Manager when amber was light once more.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Light sensor does not work

    I love my motorcycle G (from a 520 Lumia)

    My only problem is that when the brightness is set to auto, it does not change. Outdoors or indoors, there is no difference at all. I am under android 4.4.2

    When the value 'auto', the brightness will at least regardless of the situation.

    I download an app called Android sensor box and checked the light sensor module. It continues to show 2.0 luxuries, no matter if it's dark or full sun. It seems to be damaged material. Does anyone else have this problem?

    I thought so too. It works fine however take some time to adjust the brightness of the screen. I installed the app you mentioned, and it showed changes in brightness. Looks like it is a problem with your own only to the definition.

    The video chip can be "reballed" which means that all connections on the motherboard are restored with the heat to melt the solder. Which is the setting of your motherboard, not replace. No other that these options has nothing that will revive.
