  First of all I think that it is not a good idea to delete COM ports that are used for communication. If the services according to will not work afterwards. You can of course create new server COM ports if necessary and also configure client COM ports to fit your needs. Just use the custom instead of Express Mode Mode configuration wizard. Now you can determine what COM port should be used for your device. COM1 is often already used by the system, for example the built-in modem, so make sure that it's free!

  The first awkwardness that I see is that there is no clear format in which to store the messages remotely such that you can work with them in an email client. It may be possible to set the option "Local Directory" of the account in Thunderbird to point to a remote folder (DropBox comes to mind) but I've never tried, and I'd be nervous about what happens if the connection cannot be established, or if you happened to access it simultaneously from two different locations. The other concern is that mail stores are fast becoming big, and you would be forever download and download large files (several gigabytes). Thunderbird stores what looks like a folder that contains many messages separated as one big file, so there is no simple possibility of incremental changes to load up/down.

  The idea of local folders in Thunderbird is to detach messages from servers, therefore they do not follow what is happening on the servers. I say this to emphasize the distinction between files stored locally and permanently ("Local Folders"), against copies cached files online ("synchronized"). It is not sure to consider your folders synchronized as permanent.

  So folders synchronized on an IMAP server are "mirrored" in Thunderbird you do not have a local (although temporary and transitional) copy of messages. This is done primarily to avoid download repeatedly the messages if you re-read, and it makes the fastest search more effective. But these "synchronized" track of message that are deployed on the server, and so if they are deleted from anywhere, all devices that are synchronized at one point also see messages deleted endangered. (Except if you have saved a local copy on the local folders account).

  I use a gmail account quite as much as you described; Copy or move messages to this account, so that they are visible in my phone, my tablet, my own laptop and my computer works. It's free, and it is "in the cloud"; the only reservation I have is her private life. There are other suppliers (e.g. 1 & 1/gmx) who do not seem to have the fetish of collecting data that google thrives.

  It's pretty simple to create filters in Thunderbird to automatically copy messages to your account "cloud." even better is to implement the translation of rules on the servers of other accounts, to ensure that your messages are automatically sent and waiting for you when you log in next time, already in the cloud account.

  1. you try to change the default location where your pictures are saved?
  2. you are trying to run out of your pictures in cronological order?
  3. you try this in Windows live Photo Gallery or Photo Live Tile or file Explorer app (for example the folder my pictures)?

  4. you try to export photos from any external hard drive?

   
  However, I suggest that you do the following if you want to sort by Group by and reorganize by elements in the Windows Explorer 8:
   
  To set the view for column ' sort by ' for items in a folder or library in the file Explorer
   
  1. in the file Explorer, open a folder or library that you want to sort the items in a column in and do step 2 or 3 below.
  2 click/tap on the view tab, click on/tap on sort by in the Ribbon, select (dot) retail (ex: name) you want to sort items by and then go to step 4 below. (see screenshot below)
  3. right click or press on and hold on an empty area in the open folder or library, click/click on sort by, select the detail you want articles to be sorted by and proceed to step 4 below.

  I am a new convert to Firefox. What about bookmarks: it seems that you cannot create a new bookmark to the same site in two or more different folders. By example, if I have favorite Web site in a folder of bookmarks called "ABC" and then mark the same website in a folder of bookmarks different called XYZ, the bookmark will be in XYZ, but disappears from the CBA. This happens even when I assign a different name for the bookmark in ABC and XYZ.

  You can copy / paste in the Bookmark Manager (Shift + Ctrl + B) to create a copy of a bookmark.

  You can also drag the icon (fav) on the left end of the address bar in a folder in the bookmarks menu of menu drop-down or in a folder on the side bar (Ctrl + B) or to the bookmarks toolbar.

  In the sidebar, you must click to the left of the icon to prevent opening the Firefox bookmark.

  I developed a compiled VI (Smarts - Net .exe) that has been designed to operate in a specific folder (\Smarts-Net) and activated the Server Web page of Smarts - Net .html in the same folder.  So far so good.

  The application receives data in real time produced another of our programs and generates graphs to show "what happens".

  My clients would like run multiple instances of my program for their customers, but want to isolate their customer 'A' customer 'B' so that they cannot display the data on the other.  I can start my application using different IP ports so that I can have multiple views, but I want to further isolate the data of the customer in different folders.

  I did a 'manager' program that will create a subfolder of the folder in my main application (\Smarts-Net) so that it would appear as "\Smarts-Net\JobA" and copy all the files in the main folder in the new subfolder.  I then change the of Smarts - Net .ini file with the new pathname of the file and the new port like this number:

  This is where I need help.  If I try to display the VI from another computer using an address like http://snape:9600/JobA/Smarts-Net.html, I get an "HTTP 404 - File not found" error.  But, if I try to http://snape:9600 / Smarts - Net .html, I get the VI Panel!

  Thus, it seems that I can change the Port in the .ini file, but not the RootPath.  Does anyone know how to get the html to load from a different folder from the one specified when I created the application code?

  From your description it looks that the web server is already doing what you say you need for.

  There is a difference between the URL path, the path that is entered in the browser and the path of file system, the location of the file on the disk.

  The WebServer.RootPath token specifies the directory of the file system that corresponds to the root directory, "/", in the URL. You have specified C:\Smarts-Net\JobA as root your path so all files in this directory will be the URL of the http://mycomputer:myport / myFile. If you want the URL of http://mycomputer:myport/Logan/myFile then you need to have your root C:\Smarts-Net\ directory.

  Well the Inbox receives all messages from ALL accounts e-mail, SMS, MMS and PIN messages. The office only emails from your company account (BES). If you have any other integrated e-mail accounts, they will also have their own icon to see only emails from these accounts.

  This means that the folder you want to create is blocked because of file permissions. The drive or folder you are trying to create the destination folder is set to read-only, and your username does not have write permissions.

  Assuming that the current workflow, I think that the answer will lie to determine which files are omitted. If file names don't match all files already in the catalog, I expect to arrive safely. A field's Edit > Preferences > Import where you can try JPEG process next to delayed raw files as separate files. But see if you can establish the model of which is imported and what is not.

  A pure solution of Lightroom would be not not to keep all these files. If you would have the main image (a gross or a tif worked) and then create virtual copies for each of the uses that you want to track - right - click on a thumbnail and create a virtual copy. Each CV has a copy name, which I would say setting (metadata Panel) use, Getty, Alamy etc. When you need to send it to the Agency, get the VC and export to the size and the required format, send the exported file, but do not keep a copy of the actual file - the VC could suffice.   I do NOT have an identity that is separate in OE, but in local folders, I put about 5 different folders and mail, as well as rules of mail from for address X, goes into the X folder. mail coming to address go to folder Y etc..

  One of my folders (let's call it the X folder) have mail in there go back until 2008. There is, to the closing of OE, three days I received the message that to save space, OE wanted compact stuff, so I let him do as usual.

  Everything continued to work as usual, but yesterday, something has gone wrong. I turned on the computer at around 10:00, received and responded to approximately five emails in X folder (as well as e-mails to and from other addresses/folders) and everything was great.

  However, a few hours later, I noticed the missing emails. The last email now in the folder X is dated from 16/11/2009 and they age, which dates back to 24/02/2008 - but all the mail in the folder X dated between 11/16/2009 and disappeared, something like 900, maybe even a thousand or several messages, gone.

  That's happened and how do I get it all back?

  Two reasons the most common for what you describe is disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished), or bloated folders. More about that below.

  Recovery methods:

  If you use XP/SP2 or SP3, and are fully patched, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.

  To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.

  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

  Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.

  Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.

  First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.

  If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.

  If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.
   
  If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

  A general warning to help avoid this in the future:

  Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

  Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages.   I backed up my 24 Thunderbird using Mozilla Backup. I did what I had to change one of my accounts. After making the changes, I decided to restore the backup I took. Restore seems to work and I checked the profile is correct and e-mail accounts are in the mail folder. However, when I run Thunderbird, only the Local folder is displayed, any of my email accounts.   According to what you actually did Re: evolution of the accounts, & if the backup has been restored in the way (profile) accounts (and the profiles.ini file) think they are in. if the profile is now in a different path, you will need to change the path in the file profiles.ini to reflect the correct path.

  Also, sometimes after restore or do other work, the *.msf files in e-mail files get damaged or simply confused. The .msf files are in the same folder as the Inbox, sent, etc.. They are the index files - not electronic mail storage files. (the mail storage files do not have extensions).

  Often, when the email that actually exist in the mail files does not show in the accounts, remove only files *.msf in each acct mail storage file will correct it. This is the easiest step to try, but again - it depends on actions leading to the question.

  They will be recreated when TB restarts & apparently can "fix" themselves, to redisplay stored messages. Unless something on current storage files is corrupted.
